We were so lucky with the weather and the garden is a little sun trap. Location is perfect. 5 min walk to harbour market, 8min walk to the sea sauna which we went to every day and a fab local coffee shop just around the corner. And Jess is a fabulous host! Thank you! • Nikos (10/5): Very enjoyable, relaxing and comfortable. - I had a great stay at Hidden Gem. Beautiful house, very relaxing, had everything needed, in a great location to enjoy Whitstable and those lovely oysters, and Jess made sure I was settled in. So great communication with the host too.

• Louise (10/5): Amazing - Location to the harbour is amazing, short 10 min walk. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from. House is lovely. Would love to stay for a week but it would be out of our budget, as a suggestion maybe if a weekday 5 day offer could be a suggestion as we would love to come again for a holiday option.

• June (10/5): It has been renovated to a lovely standard and the owner has such good taste! - So near to town so we walked everywhere and there is so much to see and do in Whitstable. There is a Co-op just around the corner and a lovely cafe along Cromwell road run by some very friendly ladies and that's before you even get into Whitstable itself. I really like the layout of the garden and the fully opening wall to wall glass doors. Fabulous. Advice on parking although I didn't ask when I booked. I only realised when we got there. My fault entirely!!

• Kelly (10/5): Fantastic stay! Highly recommended - We had a great stay at Hidden Gem Whitstable. The property was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Easy to find and check-in via the lockbox. Had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. The secure garden was fantastic for my dog who enjoyed roaming around! Whitstable beach and harbour close by and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Parking was easy to find and we managed to get a space along the road where the property is located. Decor is beautiful and the property is really relaxing, cosy and homely. Thanks so much for a lovely stay! Highly recommended.

• John (10/5): Exceptional - This residence and holiday let is a great package for local stay. We found ' welcome' gratuities very graceful. Everything was clean, neat and provided good comfort. Residence is relative close walk to High Street. Local shops nearby. Town bakery, and tempting restaurants get my thorough approval too. Everything was efficient and well managed from start to finish.

It's perfectly located with everything in walking distance: grocery, cafés, the harbour, High Street shops and restaurants, beach, castle ... Walking distance to the train station, beach and the main town. The property is newly renovated, clean and has all modern amenities. We would have loved a bigger bed. A double bed is too small for us, especially when travelling and the bedroom has room for it. A full length mirror in the main bedroom would also be great.
