• Currie (10/5): Overnight stay with our dog. - This was very convenient for our needs for a family party. Because they are dog friendly it meant we were able to attend. Dog owners who need to bring their pets with them will understand how difficult it can be to find suitable accommodation. The accommodation itself was ideal, clean, very comfortable bed (big tick), great bathroom, plenty of storage space, great outside grass area literally outside the front for our dog, great pub/food a few steps away on our doorstep with catering for inside or out. There was nothing to dislike. This was suitable for an overnight stay which was what we needed on this occasion or for longer as a great base.

• Katelin (10/5): - The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant/pub had lovely staff and delicious food. The host was so welcoming and accommodating, he was prompt with answering our many questions. We were visiting for a wedding and he helped us with booking a taxi and went out of his way to be sure that we were cared for. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful green open space in front and our dog was free to roam around. Simon was most welcoming and friendly. We ate at the pub beside for dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was perfect Nothing to dislike

Facilities, location and accommodation were just 5 star. Immaculate condition and everything you needed was there for you in the apartment. Nothing.

• Linley (8/5): Great facility and thanks for your help the twice I had to get you out of behind the bar to help! - I loved that it was all self contained so I could heat my own dinner and have my own space. Bed was really comfortable too. Nice and close to Newgrange which I wanted to visit. I didn’t realise as I booked only that afternoon that it was self check-in and not coming from Ireland there were things I didn’t understand. I didn’t realise to lock the door you need to hold the handle up first, took a while to realise I had to flick a switch to get hot water in the kitchen and bathroom and in the morning there was no way I could get the shower to work. Pushed everything and had to give up. Think it’s maybe called immersion or something? Suggestion for non Irish stayers just to run through all that first with them so they have a nice stay as it felt a bit confusing.
• RACHAEL (9/5): Great modern units for an over night stop. - Modern and spotlessly clean. Bed large and comfy. Small area for walking the dog. Two units next to each other with plenty of parking, next to the pub. Was great for a nights stopover. The pub only does food at weekends. We drove into the village and ate at Nanny's, 5 mins down the road.

Fantastic mattress and pillows, so comfortable! Less than 30min drive from Blanchardstown and much better value for more comfort than local hotels.

• Emma (10/5): Excellent stay in Duleek - Central location to suit our needs with a toddler and a small dog. Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay in Duleek. We asked for a table and chairs to sit outside when the toddler was asleep and it was provided with ease. Excellent for parents of a young child. Big green to burn off extra energy before bed. We brought our own travel cot as discussed before our arrival and again was accommodated. We will be back.

• Steph (8/5): Perfect for an overnight with dogs, comfortable, clean and a lovely grassy area in front. - The comfortable living area and bed, the sun coming in to the unit, the cleanliness. The grassy area outside was perfect for the dogs. Could be better equipped in the kitchen. Perhaps a few things stocked for travellers like us. We didn’t bring washing up liquid for example.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful lodge really clean. Perfect for a couple or on your own.Dog friendly which was fantastic for the stay. Bed was so comfortable and there was extra pillows and blanket if needed. Loved the extra little touches like the dog coasters and bear cushion. It's much bigger than you expect from the photos. Everything was beautiful and exceeded expectations. Some small lights along the path to the lodge would be handy especially if your going back late at night.

• Cmc2212 (10/5): Fantastic - The host was very nice. I really appreciate this accommodation accept pets as that is very rare in Ireland. They don’t only accept one pet but two! We have a lovely weekend get away with our beloved furry pets as a whole family and don’t need leave them behind. Totally worth to come again.

There was no hairdryer, but after requesting it from the host, it was provided immediately. There was no air conditioning, and during the two sunny days, it was very hot during the day."
