Il est bien placé dans un quartier calme et permet de rejoindre le centre rapidement. Nous avons pu cuisiner avec le matériel sur place sans problème. Il y a un Lidl juste à côté. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

• jose manuel (6/5): Buenas localización, baño viejo - Está bien situado, con metro y bus al lado. Buena localización. Las instalaciones de electricidad y calefacción son muy viejas. Hay pocos enchufes, los radiadores no se pueden apagar porque las llaves están rotas.

Dazu schlechter Kundenservice von Booking.com - Die Umgebung des Apartments in London empfanden wir als stark heruntergekommen und unsicher. Es liegt in einem von außen teilweise unbewohnbar wirkenden Gebäudekomplex, was bei der Buchung nicht erkennbar war. Teils beschädigte Gebäude, viel Müll, unangenehme Gerüche und der schlecht einsehbare, auch am Tag teils stockdunkle Zugangsweg über eine Außentreppe verunsicherten uns sehr. Dort trafen wir auf mehrere offensichtlich stark alkoholisierte oder anderweitig beeinträchtigte Personen, die uns erschreckten. Der Aufzug roch stark nach Urin. Insgesamt überwog ein großes Gefühl der Unsicherheit und des Unbehagens. Aus diesen Gründen entschieden wir uns, dort nicht zu bleiben, und legten den Schlüssel umgehend zurück, nachdem wir uns das Apartment kurz angeschaut hatten: dort fanden sich zwar die im Inserat gezeigten Bildern wieder, aber der Gesamteindruck war abgewohnt, trostlos und karg. Garten oder Veranda konnten wir nicht entdecken, es gab eine Art Balkon, der mit alten Möbeln vollgestellt und nicht nutzbar war. Insgesamt stand der Zustand in keinem angemessenen Verhältnis zum Preis. Fotos machten wir in dieser Situation nur wenige, da wir nun vorrangig mit dem Finden einer anderen Unterkunft beschäftigt waren. Der anschließende Kontakt mit Booking.com war mehr als enttäuschend: Die Kontaktaufnahme war umständlich über einen in den Tiefen der Website versteckten Chat, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage erhielten wir keine klare Aussage zu einer möglichen Erstattung. Stattdessen wurde uns, ohne einen Bezug zu nennen, eine Reisegutschrift von 107 € angeboten, obwohl der ursprüngliche Aufenthalt 888 € kostete. Auf unsere Rückmeldung, dass wir diese Lösung nicht akzeptieren, erfolgte keine weitere Reaktion. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns weder als Gäste ernst genommen noch kundenorientiert betreut. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werden wir Booking.com künftig nicht mehr nutzen.

• An Ban (1/5): Feel unsafe there - Living room was fine, the rest cried for renovation. The building, the neighbourhood are run down. Police patrol all the time, wondering why. Feeling unsafe.

• Claire (7/5): Basic but convenient location and good value. - 25 minute walk from Brixton 02 Academy so it was a good place to stay after a gig. Facilities basic but fine for an overnight stay. Tea and coffee provided. Shampoo and shower gel also provided. Clean and better value than a hotel. Looks quite shabby on the outside but seems pretty safe. Bedding was too heavy given the hot weather: Quite hot and noisy.
• Suchamon (9/5): Perfect stay for my family 3 people. All facilities work very well. Great time of staying! Thanks - Quick response by the property’s owner. The place is very close to the central, easy to reach by either bus or tube. 3 convenience stores are nearby especially Tesco which is 2 mins walk. Lift is available! The balcony for fresh air and space in living room are nice. Thanks for an extra bedding :) More clean and some renovation in bathroom would be enough. Bed is too soft but sofa bed is comfortable.

• Maciej (9/5): Lovely stay in the apartment with really good connections - Apartment with very good location (a few mins from metro station, bus stops, big shop). There were 3 of us staying in the apartment and it was very spacious. For this value for money ratio hosts provided really good range of equipment (including microwave oven, toaster, oven, washing machine, clean towels, good Wi-fi connection) covering all our needs. For a few times we could see squirrels playing outside of the apartment, which was very nice for the morning coffee time! Mould in the bathroom

• David (10/5): I enjoyed peaceful three days near the center of London at a very nice place. Would recommend :) - It is very close to a bus station and an underground station. The place was very cozy, clean and spacious. It also contained basic condiments like sugar, tea and coffee which was awesome. The host had prepared towels and a shower gel as well along with other things. I really liked the communication with the host. He is always on his phone and very friendly.
