• Sathish (8/5): Clean confetable stay - Value for Momey place for all who wants to visit Kathirkamam Temple. Dining facilities can be a little better. Tables, plates, dishes, cutlery etc. Anyway it matched all my expectations, beds were comfortable, linen was fresh and clean, AC worked properly, reasonably good hot water. Dining area could be better equipped.

When I refused it, they were unable or unwilling to provide the correct room as per my booking. This situation wasted my valuable time and caused unnecessary inconvenience, as I had to find another accommodation at the last minute

• Lathamathy (8/5): Very nice stay. - Property is nice and clean. Beds are very comfy. It’s not closer to sella kathirkamam or mountain temple . But very closer to town and valli Amman temple. They charged for tea separately.

Friendly staff arranged a driver for us and didn’t charge for cancellation of the third night as the festival was finished and we didn’t know. Very basic. Bedsheets are not proper hotel bedsheet. No much water coming from the shower. Good price for one night.

• Irina Tatjana (10/5): Wir waren an dem eindrücklichen Fest, PEREHERE und durften das unvergessliche Erlebnis sehen! - Die Unterkunft war zentral, sauber, zu viert hatten wir einen grosszügigen Raum, Klimaanlage und Ventilator funktionierten einwandfrei, die Dusche 🚿 hatte einen wunderbaren Druck und wir bekamen zwei Flaschen Wasser 💦! Der Angeste half mir mit mehreren Wünschen weiter!!! Wir waren rundum weiter!!! Es war alles super 🤩

Even though I like the stay at the hotel, some of the listed amenities were missing such as Kitchen, Safety Deposit Box, Slippers. It was surprising to see a notice on the room prohibiting boiling water and such while the booking.com listing says otherwise. I understand at the price point it may be difficult for the administration of the hotel to keep things clean as they are when people stated prepare meals there. But I think it should be informed on the booking.com

• Dinanja (9/5): Our requirement was to have a calm and comfortable stay for our pilgrimage and we got exactly that. - Well, I liked almost all of the said facilities and we were on a pilgrimage and the stay was for a single night. We got all what we expected and the clean and dry toilet/ bathroom was excepcional. We all agreed on that. I recoment the property to any group who seeks basic amaneties for a calm pilgrimage. Theres nothing serious comes to my mind right away, But I think the balcony chairs would have been more cleaner if the birds were kept out.

• NKarthik (6/5): With stated improvements it will be a good stay place. - Location is convenient! Initially the care taker wanted to retain the ID document till checkout, which is illegal. I told him he can take a copy of it or note down the details, but he has no authority to retain it and then he was silent on it. Obviously, people needs it with them while moving around, especially to visit Yala National Park. In Sri Lanka there were many instances of misuse of ID documents by criminals and there was a gov directive not to share even colored scanned ID documents with anyone except authorized gov legal enforcement authorities. Only legal enforcement / immigration authorities have the right to retain; that too under legal violations. So caretaker need to be trained in the limitations on their rights. And obviously owner has to take the blame. Bedsheets were given only on request. No toiletries were given, we managed as we usually carry with us. Care takers need to be trained to be polite and courteous to the customers. Once the owner improves the lapses, it will be a very good accommodation - no doubt on this.
• Prabhath (8/5): Calm and comfortable stay. - Spacious and clean room. AC was working fine and hot water was readily available. On-site parking and very friendly staff. Walking distance to Katharagama town(400m). All as per booking.com description. The wash room and TV need an upgrade . Could have had soap in wash room and also an electric kettle.

The resort was well-maintained and clean with both the rooms and common areas kept in great condition throughout my stay. The location is quite convenient—peaceful. Service at the resort was efficient and reliable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled quickly. The staff deserve special mention they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were comfortable with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The beds were cozy, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy each day. Rathna Holiday Resort offers good value for money and a comfortable, peaceful environment for a getaway.

• Ahangma Withanage (8/5): Room and service worth the price paid. - Room and service was worth the price paid. Very convenient place to access Katharagama Devalaya, Kiriwehere and Kataragama town. Staff are friendly and provide good service.

Parking is great and convenient, making it hassle-free for visitors. Additionally, the location is ideal, being very close to Kiri Wehera temple and Ruhunu Maha Katharagama Dewalaya.

Помогли организовать Сафари , отвечают на все вопросы , предлагали накормить ночью при заселении. Не было 3 полотенца в 3 местном номере. Но это я так уже поняла что везде)

• Bhanu (10/5): The best stay for those who want to explore around Kataragama, exceptional! - I recently stayed at Rathna Holiday Resort during my visit to Kataragama Devalaya and was incredibly impressed! The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the Kataragama Devalaya and very close to the town. Despite being near the town, the environment is calm and peaceful, especially at night, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The room and washroom were spotless and in excellent condition, providing all the comfort I needed. What truly stood out was the stunning mountain view from the location, which made my stay even more memorable. Overall, Rathna Holiday Resort is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Kataragama. Highly recommend!t

• Renske (7/5): Top accomodatie, zou het aanraden. - Top faciliteren, grote kamer, heerlijke ruim. Tv en airco aanwezig en werkte goed. Water was niet heel warm maar in de zomer niet nodig. Parkeer plek voor de deur. Vriendelijke mevrouw en fijn dat je handdoeken krijgt! Wat verder van het centrum af maar wel op loopafstand. Er is overigens ook weinig te doen hier.
