Guest Reviews
- Vipin (9/5): Perfect place if you want quiet and relaxing break - We really enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and relaxing, and the accomodation is beautifully maintained by Eluned. I wasn’t feeling well due to the heat, and I really appreciated the paracetamol she offered- it saved my evening. Thanks, Eluned, for your care and for making our trip memorable. There isnt anything that we did not like.
- Simeon (10/5): -
- Christos (8/5): I can stay again. - The breakfast was very good. Everything very good.
- Peter (10/5): A most enjoyable stay in the perfect farmhouse B&B. - A warm welcome - literally, as my shoes were soaked through, and they were whisked away and dried overnight. There was privacy in one's excellent room - quiet and wonderfully clean and comfortable - with all possible facilities, and also ready help and conversation as occasion arose. Breakfast was excellent - a wide range of choices and cooked items could not have been better. All told, perfect for a farmhouse stay, and yet just a short drive to Carmarthen. Highly recommended. Nothing comes to mind at all - my only regret was not staying long enough to explore the area more.
- Gerry (8/5): A peaceful stay in the country. - We stayed for two nights, our room was very good and our hosts very attentive. Breakfast was excellent. It is a little out of the nearest villages but is very quiet and has a very good pub (The Butchers Inn) a short drive away. Nothing.
- Raphael (9/5): -
- Phillip (9/5): -
- Geoff (9/5): Lovely stay - Host was lovely and the ambience was very good- felt very Welsh and traditional. The dog was also lovely Nothing
- Jane (10/5): Perfect stop on way to Fishguard ferry. - A super B&B. Comfortable, large, tastefully decorated room with very comfy bed. Excellent full breakfast with Eluned catering perfectly for my dietary requirements. Rural location, but close to two villages with pubs where evening meals could be taken.
- Kate (6/5): Pleasant -
- Charlotte (8/5): Such a warm welcome - Our lovely hosts, Eluned and Huw were just wonderful. So welcoming and looked after us brilliantly. Huge, spotless rooms. Extremely generous breakfast. Peaceful location just where we needed. The shower is quite noisy and lacks pressure and the mattress could be firmer but we still loved our stay!
- Anthony (10/5): Lovely friendly tranquil place - The location is quiet and out in the country but you can get to Carmarthen and Llanelli easily for dinner. Breakfast was excellent, free parking on site and Eluned, our host, a real joy. Nothing
- Louise (10/5): Great stay - highly recommend - Good location, great hosts, very clean and lovely breakfast!
- Rhiannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nolyn (10/5): Peaceful, comfortable night away - The breakfast was fantastic and farm-fresh. The location is very rural but perfect for a nice, quiet night away. Friendly host and comfortable room.
- Jenny (8/5): Great - Lovely quiet location - lush green view, birds singing. Comfy beds, delicious breakfast, especially the fruit salad. Nothing
- Fiona (10/5): Very peaceful stay in beautiful Welsh countryside with a welcoming host -
- Naomi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (9/5): Lovely host, so welcoming. The brecfast was amazing. - It was in a lovely quiet location.
- Stephen (10/5): well and truly spoiled, what a lovely place. - just what i needed. lovely and quiet place but with all the amenities. the room was huge and comfortable. cosy bed and slept really well. close to everything with a short drive. breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. the hosts really spoiled me. nil
- Lynn (9/5): A lovely, peaceful place to stay. - We received a warm welcome on arrival.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were particularly comfortable-quite firm and supportive and much like those we have at home.
It's a small B&B which suits us perfectly.
The house is in a fairly remote location, and there are no street lights which makes it a lovely getaway for peace and quiet.
It's very clearly a working farm, that you access by driving across 2 fields on a manmade track.
Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice.
There's a choice of pubs about 10 minutes drive for evening meals.
Several attractions within an hour of the B&B are definitely worth a visit, making it a good base for a break. The only slight issue at all was that even with a sat nav, it was a little difficult to find at first. You have to drive down unmarked, narrow lanes. Once we had a sussed, it was easy...
Everything else was great, and we would certainly stay again.
- Carol (10/5): Would stay here again - The fact it's in the country so very quiet,we could hear the owls hooting on an evening and the birds singing in the morning, our host was lovely and couldn't be more helpful, there were lots of leaflets and maps of where to go and what to see and do,breakfast was excellent starting with a bowl of fresh fruit and ending with a full English with anything you could possibly want in between. The weather, though somehow I don't think our host could have done anything about that!
- Robin (9/5): Quiet, peaceful location with an excellent host. - Location is very quiet and peaceful, and the host is warm and friendly. Very farmhouse feel and this is matched by a farmhouse welcome. If you want a little solitude this is the place for you. Try the White Hart up the road a way for dinner--it is an interesting pub with its own brewery/distillery and is excellent value for money. Electric shower a bit weedy and the wifi seemed reticent to connect but neither issue detracted from a pleasant stay.
- Peter (8/5): Very enjoyable except for the bed - Excellent. Very good choice The bed. Very old, uncomfortable mattress
- Joy (10/5): I have already booked to stay again. - A lovely en-suite room, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Attention to detail ensuring a perfect stay was very much appreciated. The view across fields from the room and the quiet setting of the property made for a relaxing atmosphere. Delicious breakfast. Thankyou Eluned.
- Gabor (10/5): It was perfect! :) - Lovely place, lovely lady, highly recommended! :)
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely rural location, friendly and peaceful, great breakfast.
