• Albert (9/5): Comfy & convenient cabins with sea views - Spacious room with very nice sea view, 3 min walk from the main beach where tours start (very convenient). Balcony with the hammock is perfect for sunsets / sunrise. Ronny (the owner) was super helpful and even came to pick us up by car when we arrived with the boat from Sierpe. Nothing, it met our expectations.

• Luc (6/5): Basic en weinig sfeervol. Wel prachtig uitzicht. - Het uitzicht over de zee is prachtig. De airco werkt goed. Het is ook heel fijn dat je zonder erom te vragen wordt afgehaald waar de boot je afzet en daar ook weer aan het einde wordt afgeleverd al is de afstand met alleen een backpack ook heel goed te voet te doen. De 'entree' bij Cabinas Murillo ziet er wat onderkomen uit. De kamer is zeer basic ingericht en een gezellig lampje was al een stuk sfeervoller geweest dan alleen het grote witte licht boven het bed. Deze accommodatie o.a. geboekt vanwege de positieve feedback over de eigenaar maar deze hebben we nauwelijks gezien of gesproken waardoor het allemaal wat onpersoonlijk aan deed zeker in vergelijking tot andere plekken waar wij overnacht hebben.
• Joachim (9/5): Großartiger Meerblick und schöne Terrasse - Der Blick ist fantastisch - auch direkt aus dem Bett! Aber auch die architektonischen Details sind sehr schick - was man bei der Ankunft bei der kleinen Rezeption am Fuße der langen Treppe nicht vermuten würde. Außerdem ist der örtliche Supermarkt direkt neben dem Eingang, was sehr praktisch ist (aber keine Sorge: man guckt drüber weg). Und die geräumige Terrasse mit Hängematte und Schaukelstühlen ist auch nicht zu verachten… Vom Frühstücksbereich sieht man das Meer nur so gerade noch und das Personal ist zwar sehr freundlich, wirkt aber manchmal etwas unprofessionell - was wiederum einen gewissen Charme hatte.

• Brienne (8/5): I really loved my time at the hotel and Bahia Drake. - I liked the room and loved the balcony with its beautiful view. The owner and the staff were great. The small refrigerator in the room was nice to have. There could have been a little water heater for coffee or tea in the room or for the guests to use in the breakfast area.

• Sophia (10/5): Un petit bout de paradis - Tout sans exception était parfait! Tout d'abord le propriétaire est d'une gentillesse extrême, il est venu nous chercher au bateau pour nous aider à porter nos valises et nous a donné des conseils tout au long de notre séjour. Concernant la chambre, une vue exceptionnelle, un très grand lit et une salle de bain de grande taille aussi. La chambre était cosy et on s'y sent bien instantanément. De plus, avec les grandes vitres on a l'impression d'être dehors tout en étant dedans! Aussi nous avions accès à une terrasse qui nous permettait d'avoir une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil. Un vrai petit bout de paradis. Rien. On a tout adoré!

• Sara (10/5): - La habitación es como las fotos mostradas en Booking. Todo muy limpio, y el A/C es un extra en la zona, que no valoras hasta que estás viviendo con humedad y calor permanente. Baño con agua caliente. Hermosas vistas desde dentro de la habitación con los ventanales y desde el balcón también. Ofrece desayuno muy completo (fruta, café/te, jugo y gallo pinto o tortitas o tostada francesa) desde las 05.20 de la mañana, para que puedas desayunar antes de ir hacia Corcovado. A 5 minutos de la playa donde empieza la excursión a Corcovado, y localización próxima a restaurantes y supermercados. Tiene aparcamiento en la propiedad y el dueño contestó muy rápido a las preguntas y nos dio muchos consejos. Nada.

Sanitair, badkamer zeer basic, amper warm water, geen opbetruilte en mini lavabo.Een helse steile klim als je een kamer boven hebt. Bij 3e graden geen lachertje, gelukkig hulp gekregen met de bagage bij aankomst. Indien je met de auto naar Drake Bay komt, goed te doen, maar een uitdaging, 27 km vrije ruwe en soms steile zandweg
• Sabine (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt für Corcovado Touren - Perfekt gelegen für Touren im Corcovado. Frühstück bereits ab 05.20, abgestimmt auf die Touren, sehr praktisch. Toller Ausblick. Viele Tiere 😀 Anreise sehr abenteuerlich, Allrad und Anreise bei Tageslicht empfohlen. Strand eher zum Spazieren, lädt nicht zum ausgiebigen Baden ein.

We even got a ride when we arrived and when we left. The people were very attentive and breakfast was amazing every day. I loved being able to sit on the porch. We picked this place also because It had an AC and we were sure glad as it was so hot during the day. It would’ve been hard to sleep at night. Would’ve loved having a small coffee maker in the room.

• Sira (9/5): - Cabinas Murillo es una opción muy práctica y cómoda para alojarse cerca de la playa. Su ubicación es inmejorable, a pocos pasos del mar y con un supermercado literalmente al lado, lo que facilita cualquier compra durante la estancia. El alojamiento destaca por su confort: la cama es muy amplia y cómoda, la ducha espaciosa y el balcón ofrece agradables vistas al mar. Los desayunos son completos y de buena calidad, un gran comienzo para cada día. Hay también un grifo externo situado cerca de la habitación donde puedes lavarte los pies antes de entrar. La atención marca la diferencia. Ronny, el propietario, es encantador y muy profesional. Asesora con total disposición sobre tours y actividades y está pendiente de cualquier necesidad. El personal del restaurante es muy amable también. El día que hicimos el tour al Parque Nacional de Corcovado nos pusieron el desayuno para llevar y me permitieron colgar la ropa en su tendedero el último día y se me seco rápidamente. Y Ronny me ayudo prestándome un secador para el pelo y un adaptador, demostrando un servicio atento y orientado al cliente. Incluso tuvo el detalle de recogernos personalmente cuando llegamos tarde por la noche en lancha rápida, cansados tras el viaje, un gesto que refleja su hospitalidad. En conjunto, Cabinas Murillo combina ubicación, comodidad y un trato personalizado que aporta un valor diferencial a la experiencia. Totalmente recomendable por su calidad precio. Como pequeña sugerencia de mejora, sería útil incorporar una pequeña repisa o un soporte junto al lavabo para colocar el cepillo de dientes y otros artículos de aseo personal.

• Marcelo (10/5): - The view from the room is amazing!!! Ronny, the hotel owner and manager, is really helpful. He even help us fix a puncture in our tire. The bed is a big one, the AC and mini fridge were brand new and worked flawlessly. The balcony was an amazing place to stay, to read, watch birds and the sea. The access to the city is in a really bad shape. The gravel / dirt road has big holes and you have to go through really slow. Took us one hour and a half to do the 30km. Only one key per room. A faucet to wash the sand from your feet would have been nice to have and use before entering the room.

• Madelinn (9/5): Excellent value and view - The view from our balcony was amazing. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The air conditioner worked perfectly. The fruit at breakfast was delicious! The breakfast was tasty and available at the times we needed, but more protein options in addition to eggs would have been great. The lock on our cabina was somewhat tricky to open at times, and we couldn't quite figure out how to make the showerhead heat the water.

• Maxime Badel (5/5): - La vue Le lit (immense et confortable) La terrasse -Le personnel (dépassé à notre accueil, ne savent pas comment gérer un check in, prenne la commande petit déjeuner mais le lendemain elle n'est pas respectée) - L'accessibilité (ok Drake est une zone sauvage, mais avec 2 arrivées par jour, un minimum d'aide pour amener les valises auraient été appréciable, comme le font beaucoup d'autres hôtels autour), il y a 400 mètres à faire dans des cailloux et en pente. - Salle de bain très spartiate, pas de quoi poser une trousse de toilettes - Petit déjeuner horrible, nous n'avons jamais mangé des pancakes aussi mauvais et écœurant... Jus d'orange industriel et personne antipathique.

• Castro Arjona (10/5): Volveremos si podemos! - Ubicación ideal, al lado de la playa y de donde salen los botes para excursiones etc el desayuno muy bueno y tienes 3 opciones para elegir, la habitación limpia, cama cómoda y con vistas geniales!! Incluso nos pusieron un mini frigorífico :) la ducha genial el aire acondicionado todo al detalle, muy buen precio para ser drake bay y todo lo que ofrecen siendo una experiencia de 10!

Pokoj byl lehce zatuchlý - asi vyšší vlhkost, ale po přepnutí klimatizace na režim DRY se to lehce zlepšilo. Cesta do Drake Bay je hrozná (30 km kamenité a děravé cesty), ale za to majitel nemůže. Sprcha v koupelně je prostorná, ale tekla spíše vlažná voda.

• Michael (9/5): - Superschöne Lage mit Meerblick. Abhol und Bringservice hat super geklappt. Zimmer schön groß und renoviert. Großer Balkon mit Sitzmöbeln. Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Frühstück sehr ausbaufähig. Nur 2 Varianten, Rührei oder Spiegelei mit Toast oder Gallo Pinto mit aufgewärmten Reis mit Bohnen und kalten Kochbananen. Kaffee war ok. Frühstucksraum war ungemütlich, die restlichen Stühle waren auf der Theke vor uns aufgestuhlt und das jeden Tag.

• Agostinho Garcia (7/5): Drake bay needs improvement - The houses, cabinas, are located on a hill (mpst places there, are on hills) accessible by walking. They are spacious, big windows, a balcony and monkeys jumping on the roof early morning to drink the rain water! AC is good. Drake bay is a nightmare to drive to. Really bad roads and not understandable how such a tourist destination is so badly served. The local accesses are only in dirt roads. This is not the fault of the hotel.

• Rich Nicholls (9/5): - The view from the balcony must be the best in Drake town. We were happy to sit there watching the sea and birds flying past, including macaws, for ages. The bed was large and comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful, but little English is spoken so with my limited Spanish we could not converse much. The breakfast, served on an open deck, is good with some choice available. All the restaurants in the central town are within walking distance and the beach is 5 mins away. The rooms have the absolute minimum of equipment, not even a glass for your toothbrush!
• Izabel (8/5): Traumhafter Ausblick - wenig komfort - Der Ausblick auf das Meer ist traumhaft & die Lage - man benötigt nur wenige Minuten zum Strand und zu Restaurants. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich sogar direkt bei der Unterkunft. Das Personal spricht fast gar kein Englisch und ist nicht besonders freundlich. Es fehlte an einem Tisch im Zimmer und Nachtischlampen. Generell würde ich die Unterkunft nicht als Hotel bezeichnen.
• IRENE (10/5): Como en casa - Excelente el trato por parte de los trabajadores. Nos recogieron al llegar a Agujitas, nos enseñaron donde iniciaba el tour contratado para el día siguiente y luego nos llevaron al hotel. Nos ayudaron con la maletas en todo momento. Te dan toda la información que necesites y te ayudan y aconsejan sobre tu itinerario diario. En resumen: te hacen sentir como en casa. En cuanto a la habitación del hotel también muy bien, la cama es amplia y cómoda. El baño también tiene buen tamaño y el balcón es un plus. El desayuno está rico y es muy completo (hay 3 opciones a elegir) Todo muy bien.

J'ai manqué plusieurs fois de déraper et je devais m'accrocher à la rambarde en métal... sur laquelle je me suis blessée la main, un morceau de métal m'est rentré dans la paume - On a dû faire le lit, le drap était juste déposé sur le pied de lit. Il a fallu le mettre nous même sous la couette

• Victor (10/5): Buenas habitaciones con un balcón con bonitas vistas - La habitación es amplia con unas vistas excelentes. Estar contemplando el bar en el balcón de relax es de lo mejor. También esta muy cerca de la playa principal, perfecto ya que la mayoría de excursiones y actividades el barco parte de allí. El desayuno sería mejorable.
• julien (8/5): Belle chambre et superbe vue sur la baie! - Une chambre confortable dont le grand atout est sans conteste le balcon et sa superbe vue sur la baie de Drake. Petit déjeuner ok. Bon accueil et bonne situation, pas très loin de la plage principale d'où partent les activités. L'hôtel envoie quelqu'un accueillir les voyageurs à l'arrivée du bateau (qui se fait les pieds dans l'eau, pas de quai ;) ) pour les emmener avec leurs bagages dans un van (pas long, mais appréciable avec les bagages!).
• Jacopo (9/5): Perfetta location nella unica Brake Bay! - Struttura bellissima immersa nella ancora più bella atmosfera unica e selvaggia di Brake Bay. Vista mozzafiato sulla baia, al mattino uno splendore. Punto di appoggio unico per il Parco Nazionale del Corcovado, per distacco il più bello del Costa Rica Pacifico. Comunicazione con l’host piú che efficiente, molto gentile e disponibile ci ha prenotato con azienda affiliata il trasporto da Sierpe A/R. Disponibili anche a organizzare il tour nel Corcovado: per un paio di misunderstanding e la concomitanza con la festa della mamma (molto sentita in CR) non siamo riusciti a prenotare con loro ma mi ha consigliato dove prenotare e siamo riusciti a fare la splendida escursione in giornata a La Sirena. Consiglio assolutamente la struttura.

• Fabio (8/5): Hotel recomendable para estadía en pueblo rústico - Lo que me gustó fue la excelente ubicación, a pasos de las oficinas de tours, salidas de lanchas, restaurantes, playas, etc. también me encantó la vista desde la habitación, que tiene terraza. La increíbles asistencia de Juan, su primo y demás personas que trabajan, es de valorar. Nos gestionó tours, traslados, etc. Todo el entorno del hotel, muy cuidado, con jardín tropical. La habitación, muy sencilla, sin TV, sin luz en la mesita de noche. El desayuno, muy simple, a encargar el día anterior. Importante llevar adaptador para los enchufes europeos. No se puede fumar en ninguna parte del hotel (aunque yo no fumo, mi pareja lo hace). No hay caja fuerte ni armarios en la habitación. Hay que subir varias escaleras para acceder a las habitaciones.

• Ekstrand (9/5): Location and balcony view was great! The bed was comfortable and gave us just enough space. - The room was tidy with a large bed and nice sized bathroom. The balcony provided a lovely view of the ocean and the bay area. The wifi and the A/C worked great. They provide tasty breakfast to order starting really early in the morning which was great to get food before the early morning outings and tours. The balcony door doesn't lock and it opens and closes easily and would sometimes accidentally close harder than expected.

• Co&Do (10/5): - La vue incroyable sur la baie, le calme , le bon petit dejeuner servi à 5h30 avant de partir en excursion L’accueil à l’arrivee du bateau de Sierpe et conseils de Juan pour les plages et restaurants Ras
• Séverin (10/5): - La vue de la chambre, exceptionnelle, le confort du lit, c'est propre et Juan nous a très bien reçu. Toujours dispo, il s.est occupé de nous organiser les 2 sorties: au Corcovado et le snorkling (immanquable !!!). Il s'est occupé de nous réserver des emplacements sur le bateau. Bref, parfaitement organisé. Donc merci Juan au top, n'hésitez pas, Bahia Drake fera partie de nos meilleurs souvenirs du Costa Rica. Ras, tout était bien !
• María (10/5): - Nos vinieron a recoger a la playa, nos gestionaron la lancha desde sierpe. Las vistas con la terraza increíble. Rico desayuno. Cama comodísima y mucho espacio
• David (9/5): Vistas excelentes y lugar agradable. Las camas pueden mejorar. - Vistas inmejorables y habitación enorme. El pueblito tiene mucho encanto y está muy cerca de donde se cogen las lanchas para ir a Corcovado. Excelente desayuno. La cama no era muy cómoda.
• Amanda (10/5): An en suite apartment with a balcony and an uninterrupted view of the South Pacific - The cabin was well situated in Drake - our view was amazing and the breakfast excellent. The host Juan was very helpful and friendly. Nothing as we are fit and agile -but it’s important to share that the path to the accommodation and breakfast patio was very steep and slippery in places for people with mobility difficulties.

• Michael (8/5): Tolle Lage in Drake Bay, Sprungbrett in den Corcovado-Nationalpark - Gute Lage in Drake Bay, die letzte Stunde Fahrt dorthin ist allerdings nur mit Allradantrieb zu empfehlen. Schöner Blick über die Bucht. Traumstrände zu Fuß erreichbar. Und - der Hauptvorteil von Drake Bay - der Corcovado-Nationalpark ist per einstündiger Bootsfahrt zu erreichen. Achtung, Touren dorthin unbedingt frühzeitig buchen! Frühstück nicht so toll, Host nicht sehr hilfsbereit
• VERONICA (9/5): - La habitación es amplia con vistas al mar. El desayuno está muy bien. El personal agradable e intenta ayudar en lo que puede. Hotel perfecto para pasar unos días en Bahía Drake. Tanto la cama como las sillas de la terraza no eran muy cómodas.
• Guillermo (9/5): Lugar tranquilo - Muy agradable y tranquila la habitación. Personal muy atento. Vistas bonitas y excelente ubicación
