• Tina (8/5): A very good and comfortable stay. Would be happy to return - We stayed on the 1st floor and were met at the apartment by the owner who was very helpful, showed us round and showed us how everything worked. He also gave us directions to the nearest supermarket and the bus stop to the archeological sites. The location was excellent, in a small street just off the main shopping street and just a short walk onto the island, close to all Ortigia has to offer. This was a 1 bed apartment so no breakfast was provided but we had a small kitchen with a large fridge so had the facilities to make our own breakfast. There were plenty of breakfast places nearby if you preferred. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows and there was a space with a table to sit at in the bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There was also access to a communal outside terrace area with table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside. There was a TV but only with Italian channels. It was bit noisy from the passing of people & mopeds in the street, and also from people going up and down the communal staircase, if you are a light sleeper this was easily fixed by closing the bedroom door at night.

The host was very kind and accommodating. I saw him a few times with his family around, and he seemed like a very kind and genuine host. Would stay again. Nothing bad. • Stanley (10/5): Ein sauberer, komfortabler und herzlicher Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage in Ortigia. - Die Unterkunft liegt schön zentral, ist groß und geräumig und vor allem ausgesprochen sauber! und komfortabel. Das Pärchen welches die Wohnungen betreibt war mehr als hilfsbereit, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn ich nochmal in die Region reise würde ich ohne Zweifel nochmal diese Unterkunft wählen und empfehle sie auch ausdrücklich weiter. Wir waren zu zwei als Pärchen dort, perfekt trifft es als Beschreibung glaube ich am besten. Beim buchen hatten wir es mit einem Hotel verwechselt, als es dann doch eine Wohnung war wurden unsere Erwartungen aber doch weit übertroffen. Die Wohnung/das Haus waren ein wenig hellhörig, aber in keinem groß weiter störendem Maße.

Comfortable beds and very comfortable pillows that is rare in Italy. A bottle of proseco on arrival. The host is very kind, easy to communicate, living in the same house, so it is easy to reach him if needed. We were allowed to check out some hours later as our flight was only in the evening. Would love to return there.

• Oscar (10/5): - We definitely felt welcomed as we were met by the staff at the building main door at our very late arrival. The apartment was bigger than we thought, super clean, very comfortable bed, quiet during the day, super quiet during the night and at a 1 minute walk from Tempio di Apollo. We definitely recommend this place and we would stay again. The place exceeded our expectations.

Das Gebäude ist alt doch die Ausstattung modern und vor kurzem erneuert. Alles wirkt sehr übersichtlich und elegant. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind fußläufig erreichbar. In größerer Kleiderschrank wäre nicht schlecht. Platz dafür ist reichlich vorhanden.

• Debora (10/5): Impeccabile - Ho soggiornato alla Corinzia, mi sono trovata bene. Ho scelto il piano terra perché era comodo per le valigie. Era molto pulito e curato nei dettagli, la cucina è completa di tutto, macchina del caffè, bollitore, microonde. All' ultimo piano, c'è un' incantevole terrazza con dei divanetti dove ho consumato un aperitivo al tramonto. La zona è centralissima, servita da supermercati, ristoranti, farmacie e, a pochi passi il mercato locale dove si può acquistare di tutto. Spero di tornare presto, soprattutto per la gentilezza dello staff , che mi ha dato consigli utilissimi e sono stati sempre carini durante la permanenza presso la Corinzia. Assolutamente consigliata !

Molto apprezzata la bottiglia di rosè in cucina, al nostro arrivo e acqua e due lattine di bibite gia fredde in frigo. Nino è un padrone di casa eccellente e molto solare. E' stato un piacere consocerti. L'unico appunto alla struttura è che, essendo sulla strada, la notte si sente completamente tutto, dai passanti, ai motorini e la mattina, tutti i servizi di pulizia del comune. Il saabto mattina passa il vetro, attenzione e passa prestissimo. MA a parte questo nulla da eccepire.

The top terrace was beautiful, especially with the complimentary Prosecco. Host recommendations were fantastic for local cafe and food options as well! The bed was slightly uncomfortable (for a side sleeper who prefers a softer mattress) and the sheets seemed not to fit very well. Minor details to an amazing stay!

Die Gastgeber sind wahnsinnig herzlich und gastfreundlich. Die Apartments sind super sauber und sehr stilvoll und hochklassig ausgestattet. Kaffe, Wein, Wasser etc. sind zur Begrüßung vorhanden. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Mitten in Ortigia, sehr belebt und trotzdem ruhig und ein schöner Rückzugsort. Ich liebe die Terrasse über den Dächern - tagsüber und am Abend gibt es dort immer was zu gucken...Ich freue mich schon auf nächste Mal und sende meinen Dank an die Gastgeber! 🙏👌✨ Nichts

• Kay (9/5): Home away from home on Ortigia. - Our spacious one bedroom apartment was in a beautifully renovated old building in the heart of lovely Ortigia Island. It was very clean and modern, well equipped to prepare simple meals, and included a balcony shared with the neighbouring apartment, although we were the only ones using it while we were there. A big bonus was the rooftop terrace looking over Ortigia, a lovely spot for a glass of wine at sunset. There's no lift, although being on the first floor it didn't really affect us.

• Maria (9/5): Wonderful, would definitely stay there again. - It's a lovely apartment ideally situated in the old town for all the local sights and plentiful restaurants. Dario was incredibly helpful, allowing us to store our luggage until our room was ready as we arrived early in the morning off the night train. The welcome bottle of wine, sweets, water, and soft drinks was a nice touch. If, like us, you arrive by train, the apartment is about a 25-minute walk from the station, but it is well worth the trek. I would definitely stay there again, and Ortigia is just gorgeous. This isn't really a criticism but I would have liked a tea towel and recycling bins/bags. Also, we found the tap water gave cups of tea a weird taste but this was easily solved by using bottled water in the kettle.
• christian (9/5): Schönes, ruhiges Appartment. Perfekt um das magische Ortigia zu erkunden. - Tolles Appartment in Top-Lage. Es ist eine ruhige Gasse. Von dort aus ist alles super zu erreichen. Ein Supermarkt ist auch nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Das Appartment ist modern, sauber und gut ausgestattet (Einbauküche mit allem was man braucht), schickes gefliestes Bad, etc. Das Appartment hat einen kleinen Balkon (geht in den Gassen nicht größer) und eine kleine Gemeinschaftsterrasse (mit dem Nachbarappartment). Hervorheben möchte ich die Sauberkeit und Dekoration im ganzen Haus und die Freundlichkeit von Dario und dem Personal. Haben gute Tipps bekommen und wurden sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt (gegen Aufpreis) und freundlich empfangen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Empfehlung! Der Moment, als der Urlaub vorbei war.

The apartment was lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped, we shared a large balcony with the room next door but we also had our own private balcony that looked down to the winding street of Via Dione, loved that street, all the amazing shops, art etc. Such a perfect, perfect, location to everything, it made our stay even more perfect. We didn't make the roof top as we were too busy exploring the beautiful attractions of Ortigia, we loved it that much we extended our stay. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Eravamo al piano terra con entrata indipendente che ho apprezzato tantissimo, TV funzionante e non è una cosa scontata, visto che in molti posto dove siamo andati spesso non prendeva. Free laundry facility which we did not use The terrace was difficult to access (located in adjacent building up several flights of stairs) but was not needed anyway as there were much better views of the sea and city from elsewhere

Het is luxueus en met hoogwaardige materialen gerenoveerd. We waren een beetje vroeger dan verwacht toegekomen maar mochten toch al onze bagage afzetten. De host gaf ons duidelijke informatie over het verblijf, café's, restaurants,.... Het gedeelde terras vonden wij een minpunt.

• Natalia (10/5): Amazing apartment in the great location - We stayed at the property for 8 nights as our base for day trips. The location is amazing, the property owners made our stay very comfortable! Apartment is sparkling clean with all the kitchen supplies for our own cooking and we did use it daily. The local fresh produce and fish market is 5 min walk as well as Apollo temple , restaurants , small city beaches . We enjoyed it all . We took a public transportation everywhere we went outside the city and it was just great! The owner surprised us with the bottle of local wine, expresso coffee pods and a small cute ceramic gift- very nice touch! We Highly recommend this apartment and will be coming back on our next trip to the Sicily! We felt safe everywhere we went despite Sicily having a bad reputation in the past. We loved everything everywhere we went! Thank you for the hospitality!
• Sam (10/5): Fantastic apartment, fantastic place - Nino was extremely welcoming and so hopeful. The apartment was beautiful; the photos don't do it justice! Along with access to the terrace on the roof, we had our own private balcony and a larger balcony which we shared with the room next door. The accommodation is perfectly located near all the main sights of Ortigia and is only a 20 minute walk from the train station. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our holiday in Sicily and Syracuse/Ortigia our favourite place. A must for anyone visiting Sicily. Thank you, Corinzia Casa Vacanze!

• Raffaella (8/5): Posizione magnifica - Posizione perfetta, facilmente raggiungibile da ogni punto. Camera di design, confortevole, arredata con gusto. Piacevole accoglienza da parte del proprietario, che è rimasto disponibile per tutto il nostro breve soggiorno. Mancava il kit da bagno per gli ospiti, e abbiamo dovuto richiedere 2 set di asciugamani extra, perché non ce n'era abbastanza per tutti. Una piccola mancanza a cui il proprietario ha provveduto con celerità.

• Silvia (7/5): - Posizione nel cuore di Ortigia, ottima per vivere l’isola. Monolocale molto ampio, comodo per una famiglia di 4 persone, ben arredato. A piano terra, quindi direttamente sulla strada, anche se pedonale (ogni tanto qualche auto è motorino passano). Presente solo una piccola finestra in alto, quindi è difficile far aerare l’appartamento (la porta d’ingresso si affaccia sulla strada), che risulta piuttosto umido (per fortuna ci sono i condizionatori). L’altra “apertura”, a cui si accede dal bagno, è una sorta di cortile di 2 m x 1 m, impraticabile per diversi motivi: - tra le mura dei palazzi limitrofi, è impossibile “soggiornarci” perché alle pareti sono affissi ben 3 motori di condizionatori e 2 caldaie a metano, da cui fuoriesce odore di gas quando in funzione. - ci entrano una sedia e uno stendino a malapena - si vede il cielo solo guardando in alto, ma molto molto in alto. Pulizia nella media (i miei figli camminano scalzi, il pavimento poteva essere un po’ più pulito sinceramente)

• Jane (9/5): - The location was fantastic. Very convenient for seeing all the sights in Ortigia and Syracuse. The apartment was very clean and small touches like coffee pods and drinks were appreciated. An ideal size for 2 people but as a family of four it also worked well. Nothing Yes
• Saskia (8/5): Centraal gelegen, ruim appartement, goed ontvangen, kortom een fijne plek voor je vakantie. - De locatie is centraal gelegen op Ortigia. Je stapt de deur uit en bent in 5 min aan de kust. Dichtbij het appartement vind je restaurants, souvenirwinkels, etc. Onze kamer had een eigen balkon, gedeeld balkon en ook toegang tot het dakterras met prachtig uitzicht over de stad. In de buurt vind je ook supermarkten voor snelle boodschapjes en leuke koffietentjes. De kamer zelf is schoon, ruim en heeft ook de faciliteiten om zelf te koken. De gastheer ontving ons persoonlijk, ondanks dat we later aankwamen dan vooraf aangegeven (vertraging). Dit was geen probleem nadat we gebeld hadden. Al met al een prima plek voor een week vakantie. Er was weinig wat beter kon, maar als ik toch iets moet noemen is het de wifi. Door de dikke muren is de ontvangst niet heel goed en werkt zowel wifi als mobiel netwerk niet optimaal.

• Claudia (10/5): Super consigliato - Ho soggiornato per tre notti in questo appartamento. Consigliatissimo per chiunque sia di passaggio ad ortigia. Tanta attenzione alla pulizia e dotato di tutto il necessario. Posizione centralissima ad ortigia. Il proprietario si è dimostrato molto disponibile e cortese, attento nel venire incontro alle nostre esigenze e facilmente reperibile per qualsiasi necessità. Se dovessimo ricapitare ad ortigia torneremmo sicuramente in questa struttura. Tutto perfetto
