• FH L (10/5): Mooie glamping met vriendelijk personeel. - Mooi aangelegd terrein met fijn zwembad en mooi uitzicht op de vulkaan. Erg prettig dat er maar zo weinig tenten op staan. Ook fijn dat er een gym was. Het persooneel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Lekker ontbijt. Het zijn tenten dus je hoort wat meer van de buren dan bijvoorbeeld in een huisje.

Vino blanco de la mejor calidad en una cubierta para encontrarlo a nuestra llegada. Lo único a mejorar es que hubiera algún colgador de toallas en el baño, por lo demás todo nos gustó mucho.

Hemos tenido una estancia excepcional, el bungalow que nos tocó, muy espacioso, todo impecable y las camas comodisimas. Se respira paz absoluta, los jardines están mega cuidados, todo súper limpio. El staff del hotel es muy amable, todos muy simpáticos. Las chicas del desayuno muy atentas a todo. Teníamos ganas de comer aguacate, así que un día lo compramos en el súper y le pedimos un cuchillo para cortarlo en el desayuno, y nos ofrecieron hacerlo tipo puré y condimentarlo. Servicio 10 puntos. Es un detalle ínfimo con respecto a lo maravilloso que es el Hotel. Al mini gimnasio le falta mucho equipamiento, no hay un banco plano, lo cual es básico en cualquier gimnasio.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und die Poolarea für ca. 10 Wohneinheiten sehr schön. Die Glampingidee verfängt hier bestens!

Dadurch waren auch die ganzen Klamotten und das Bettlaken feucht, was sehr unangenehm gewesen ist - keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück - wir hatten riesige Kakerlaken im Zimmer, da die Zelte nicht komplett dicht sind - Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Es sollte einem jedoch bewusst sein das die Anlage etwas auserhalb La Fortuna ist und es kein Restaurant hat, Auto von Vorteil. Da im Regenwald war alles sehr feucht auch im Zelt.. nasse Kleider trockneten nicht.. das gehört aber dazu im Regenwald ;)

She could not have done more to help us with information in general but especially with things to do and visit. Highly recommended is the Trail Mariolas nearby. One caveat, don't cross the manager (Marie if my memory serves me right). I made the fatal mistake of sitting on the counter in the breakfast area only to be told off like a child in a fairly aggressive manner. You could have made your point without making feel like a delinquent :-) Nothing

• Rachel (10/5): - Great location out of town but only a 5 minute drive there. This place was very relaxing and we saw both three and two-toed sloths on the grounds as well as agoutis and a Mottmott bird. The breakfast was the best we had in our 2 week stay in Costa Rica.
• Denise (10/5): Simply perfect! - Everything we’d hoped for and more. Peaceful so you can enjoy the wildlife there, but within a 15-20 min walk in to the centre of La Fortuna. But take a torch! Loved the balcony overlooking the forest and listening to the birds every morning. Pool was great too. Super comfy bed and nice shower.

Las habitaciones tipo glamping están impecables, muy bien diseñadas y rodeadas de naturaleza. Tienen mucho espacio, camas cómodas, y detalles cuidados que hacen la estadía muy agradable. Además, el predio está lleno de verde y eso hace que uno se sienta realmente conectado con el entorno. Las áreas comunes son un punto muy alto: la piscina con vista directa al volcán es espectacular, y además cuentan con diferentes espacios exteriores para disfrutar, como un área de barbacoa y otro sector destinado a yoga, lo cual nos encantó. Todo está muy bien integrado con la naturaleza y transmite mucha paz. La atención del personal fue excelente. Las chicas de recepción siempre fueron muy amables y atentas, y nos ayudaron con todo lo relacionado a los tours: qué hacer, cuándo hacerlo, recomendaciones según clima y duración, e incluso buscar el mejor precio. Se nota que están acostumbradas al turismo y realmente quieren que uno aproveche al máximo la estadía. El desayuno está muy bien, variado, rico y con un servicio súper amable. Por las tardes también ofrecen café para quienes quieran tomar algo antes de salir o al regresar de las actividades del día. En resumen, un alojamiento muy completo y con un entorno maravilloso, ideal para disfrutar La Fortuna combinando naturaleza, descanso y actividades. Nada

• Yana (10/5): The best way to Glam - The sounds of the birds in the morning and rain at night are magical. This place is extremely unique and the perfect place to experience Arenal. Staff was phenomenal. All of their recommendations were spot on and they helped me make dinner reservations and book activities. This is the best way to experience Arenal. The grounds are beautiful and serene.

Room very humid, our clothes got damp. Pillows too rigid and elevated creating neck pain in the morning. Be aware that is no restaurant or bar available. Preferable to have a car to get to the center.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur avec du jus de fruit industriel et des plats manquants par rapport à ce qui est annoncé. Il y a un problème d'humidité dans les tentes où rien ne sèche. Il manque des endroits de rangements pour les affaires et il n'y a rien pour poser sa trousse de toilette dans les toilettes. Il n'y a pas de frigo disponible dans la chambre et l'hôtel ne propose rien en dehors du petit déjeuner. Le seul frigo commun disponible est utilisé par les employés qui ont organié une soirée entre eux dans les espaces communs lors de notre séjour.

Nous avont fait du rafting, parcouru un sentier à la recherche des paresseux, et nous sommes baignés dans des sources chaudes sur leurs recommandations, tout était top!

From the moment we booked, the staff was incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly — answering all our questions and assisting with every detail of our trip. They went above and beyond to organize all of our excursions, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and continued to be impressed by the level of service throughout our stay. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, peaceful, and with a real sense of being close to nature without sacrificing comfort. It's perfectly located: close enough to the town of La Fortuna for easy access to shops and restaurants, but just far enough away to feel like a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. • Jackie (9/5): Great facilities , superb setting and exceptionally friendly staff . - Beautiful gardens , pool and spectacular view of the volcano . Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff . The best of our entire trip . Nice comfortable tent with shower and outdoor seating . Good breakfast buffet with convenient timings ( we went to the hanging bridges and came back for breakfast) A reasonable distance to walk into La Fortuna to eat in the evening . While a little expensive for glamping , the quality of the tents and the overall environment made it well worthwhile. While a small fridge was available , we did think that an electric hob ( rather than a charcoal bbq) with a larger fridge and crockery etc would enhance the facilities on offer .
• John (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect mix of local flavor and amenities. It was nice hearing the jungle sounds at night. The staff are super helpful and friendly!
• Philip (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay at Hotel Arenal Glamping. Its in an amazing setting and everything is incredibly well done. The tents are immaculate and the showers were amazing for a tent! The pool area were great and the whole place had such a relaxed vibe. Dani and all the staff we super friendly and helpful. We even saw Toucans and Sloths at the hotel. Loved it. Could have more options for drinks and snacks to safe going into town.
• Isabella (10/5): My favorite stay in Costa Rica - The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped arrange spa treatments and trips. They even lit a camp fire for us and provided marshmallows! Great breakfast too. The glamping felt very luxurious with the tents well spaced and private. Accomodation was clean with daily fresh linen service. The al-fresco gym and yoga deck is a nice touch! Nothing
• Ellen (8/5): The highlight is the staff. - The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We took their recommendations for a sloth tour which was excellent and also a restaurant in La Fortuna which was good. The pool is clean and a reasonable size given the size of the property. The rooms could benefit from a small refrigerator. The towels for both the bathroom & pool are very small. I paid £200 GBP per night which I thought was over priced, however this seems to be the case everywhere in Costa Rica. We were visiting on our honeymoon and this was not acknowledged in any way.
• Jessica (10/5): Perfect location and idyllic setting. Can’t fault it! - Absolutely everything! The staff were beyond friendly and just the most helpful and kind people. The pool was gorgeous, breakfast was lovely and the atmosphere was top notch. Also the birds and nature everywhere you look was just amazing. I’d come back and stay in a heartbeat. The only things I could fault were the beds were a little soft and also I found the daily leaf blower quite irritating! (Potentially two things that were more personal preference than actual dislikes!)
