Pavithra (8/5): - I recently stayed at a homestay in Varkala and had a decent experience overall. The highlight was the homemade breakfast, which was fresh and tasty. The stay was simple and affordable, making it a good option for a short trip on a budget .Overall, it’s a budget-friendly stay with good food, but better suited for groups rather than small families However, since it is a homestay, comfort and privacy are limited. Other families were also staying in the same house, which can feel a bit uncomfortable, especially for those looking for privacy. Parking is also difficult and not very convenient. This place is more suitable for a one-day stay, especially if you are traveling with friends or a large family group. If a big family books the entire space (3 bedrooms and a hall), it works well. But for a small nuclear family, it may not be the best choice.

The location was one of the highlights, as it was easily accessible,quiet and convenient for my needs. The rooms were neat and spacious with comfortable beds. The property owner was very helpful and ensured my stay was comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this homestay for its convenient location and helpful property owner. Unlike one of the reviews stated here. It was quite a comfortable and safe stay. a bit more attention to customer service from the staff, it could be even better.
Shaifali (1/5): Pretty bad, host is a creep and very unprofessional - Location was okay -Host was a creep and very unprofessional, we were two girls who stayed here for 3 days, he tried to touch me despite me telling him no and made me very uncomfortable -The room was very small and had no amenities, there was no mirror in the room, no cupboard or a table or hooks for your clothes. In the name of toiletries we were provided with only 2 mini soap bar and nothing else -The place always smells weird, and is not very clean. We asked househelp to clean our room and she only wiped the floor. The bedsheets weren’t changed, trash wasn’t taken out, utensils were left inside. Overall a bad experience and definitely not worth staying
