Amari (1/5): Avoid. A hostel will be better - Nothing, looks nothing like the pictures. We had the three bedroom apartment and it was awful. Dirty carpets and cockroaches, didn’t feel comfortable staying here. We stayed here approx 5 mins and then handed the keys back as we didn’t feel comfortable staying here

Shaikh (1/5): Very uncomfortable for family - Nothing Beds were uncomfortable, central heating, ceiling was almost falling, black mould in kitchen, windows were not double glazed, moving space was very limited, Wi-Fi was not working for 4 days and staff didn’t even respond to our queries. On the last day of checkout the staff was not available and we had to leave the keys at the door

Vasili (8/5): Very good - Awesome location with a walking distance to both, the Grand Bazaar and to the Hagia Sofia. Considering the price, it is a very good option to stay if you are planing to visit those places. We stayed at the similar location before, so knew what to expect. When the hosts are doing their best to help you, there is still cultural difference, so not all your requests be satisfied. You are basically staying in an old city in very old building with mostly locals living in the apartments next to you, so expect local standarts in everytinhg. The facades of the buildings and the streets nearby does not look posh.

Julius (8/5): Perfect for a big group which is not too picky - Good overall location, big apartment, was perfect for 5 people. We had no problems with the cleanliness of the apartment. The apartment itself was not smelling bad. It was also very very warm. Kitchen with all utilities. Check in was easy. The apartment was very cheap. So I consider this a good value for money. The stairwell from the outside door of the building to the door of the apartment was just terrible. A lot of pee and even poop of the cats. Was stinking very bad. Something should be done about the cats.
