Guest Reviews
- ian (9/5): Weekend away - The van was clean homely and warm and in a good location for beach , restaurant/ pub A little negative point if need to say, is the bedroom curtains a little short in length and a few little holes in the curtains letting in the light from the outside lamp and the cooker probably needed a bit more tlc
- alan (7/5): The accommodation was good and great communication with the owner, pity about the site itself. - The caravan was good, everything that should have been there was there, the site is clean , the facilities on site are dated and need bringing up to modern day standards , The outdated bar/ restaurant , needs decorating, better furniture.
- Joanne (8/5): Brilliant - Very spacious in the living area for us all to sit comfortably, Needs abit of tlc in areas it’s very well used, didn’t effect our stay though

- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay wonderful caravan in excellent location. Immaculately clean and little extras were a lovely touch.
- Rachel (1/5): AVOID Would NOT stay again . - It was dog friendly and the caravan park was conveniently placed but that was about it. Just over an hour before our arrival we were told that the caravan was having issues with the internet and we were told we’d have to use a personal hotspot for the WiFi, when we got to the caravan there was a Tplink mifi box so we put in the password and found that it wasn’t fit for purpose when I tested the download/upload speeds we were getting between 4/5 mbps download and same upload speeds, when I messaged Helen and told her about the wifi speeds she messaged me back and said That she’d rang EE up and they haven’t had any issues! So I didnt say anymore about that because the issue was the little Tplink box they’re old technology and aren’t fit for purpose in this day and age if you’re renting out a caravan you really should have access to the internet whether it’s work related or just using the internet for everyday things. If I knew that I’d have to use a personal hotspot I wouldn’t have chosen that particular caravan, the WiFi was an issue the van wasn’t clean it was dusty the bin smelled of vomit but when I messaged Helen she replied straight back to say she’d just cleaned it!! The Gas fire didn’t Work and it was cold and when my fella who’s familiar with those gas fires looked behind the front the dial was set at the very minimum setting which is 1 and it goes up to ten. Helen said that I could find extra bedding in the spare bedroom and that was 1 single duvet !!!. The curtains had multiple moth holes in them and were too short for the window so at night the street lighting is bright and the curtains are not black out ones. On the whole I would not consider staying here again.

- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy. All the essentials were included.
Clear information/conversation with owner on everything.
- Jen (10/5): Fabulous property. - Loved the property and the site was so quiet at night. Really well kept surroundings and a stunning caravan with everything you need for your stay.
Great communication for the booking! Fully recommend. We will be coming back xx The TV signal was up and down but not much can be done with that.
- Amanda (9/5): Very nice and comfortable. Will be booking again - Very clean caravan , even though we booked the same day and travelled down within an hour of booking , we got communication from the owner telling us the code and where to find the keys . Even communicated to us afterwards asking if we enjoyed our stay. Could do with more cooking utensils like tongs and spatula.
- Dr (1/5): Save yourself heartache and book elsewhere on the park!😱 - It was a great caravan park ( Tingdene Park- the owner told us the wrong place; not helpful when you're driving in the dark and rain!!!). There are loads of caravans and chalets to hire (cheaper incidentally) here. The park is really near to the beach. The park staff are so friendly and helpful and couldn't believe the horrible treatment we received from the van owner. The park maintenance man really wanted to help us but couldn't as it was privately owned and 'they can be very difficult if we try to help.' Such a nice guy and the bar/restaurant girl was so friendly. The van!!! It was filthy, the inside bin stank (not cleaned), so dusty, damp, the curtains had holes which had been chomped away by moths, marks and scuffs on the walls, the oven was dirty and very worn, the cooker hood was greasy and dusty, the cooking utensils had seen better days and were not clean. The fridge didn't appear to be working and was smelly, clearly in need of replacing. Food stuffs, condiments, coffee etc were out of date. The worn leatherette sofa had a botch repair job ( which she tried later to suggest we had done 🤣- see photo )Ironically as we were only staying 2 nights we were going to just ignore these problems but what happened next and the owner's response made us tell her and booking.com and we felt obliged to let others know through this review so as not to to be in the same position we found ourselves in. The heating/hot water was not working. The owner said it couldn't be fixed. The solution offered by the owner was to boil the kettle to get a wash and sleep in the lounge area with the fire on ( the fire didn't work and was so very dusty!). Or she said go and 'll refund you the second day as long as you leave tonight. So uncaring. We decided it would be better to talk to her rather than messages but this was to no avail as she was defiant, unfriendly, repeated that you can get a wash with the kettle water ," it's hardly the end of the world" she said. Not really the same as getting a shower after a long drive and having been at work! FYI the phone number listed for them is a french number!! Needless to say we left that night, informed booking.com and they looked after us brilliantly. The owner immediately reneged on giving us any money back and even wanted to make an additional charge for our dog, despite us having made that clear in the booking. In fact it states that it is a dog friendly property!
- Klaudia (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and comfortable, well equipment, amazing hot shower, everything there what u need before u go to town, definitely will come back very soon again. Me and my husband and kids are well impressed with our holiday and another massive plus u are allowed pets with u :)
Not to far to walk to promenade and beautiful views
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stirton (9/5): Superb - The directions and instructions were very clear and everything worked as it should. It was a particularly chilly weekend so it was great to have effective heating and hot water. We weren’t there long enough to identify if there were any problems, other than the TV signal being erratic.
- Jo (9/5): A great little find! - The caravan was nice and clean and close to the beach.
The caravan had lots of little extras like tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo! Even a packet of custard creams! If I had to pick on something it would be the tv signal kept going in and out but other than that everything was brilliant!
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
