• Nathalie (4/5): Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix - L’accueil de Paolo, ses conseils et sa présentation des points d’intérêts de la ville. L’hébergement se situe dans une dépendance d’une maison dont l’environnement ne présente aucun intérêt, proche de la ville toutefois. La chambre est petite, le matelas de mauvaise qualité (mou), les rideaux n’occultent pas le jour qui se lève à 5h20 (en mai)… Aucune attention particulière, 1 petit frigo vide avec 1 seule bouteille de 50 cl pour 2 personnes ! Sans parler du petit déjeuner…. Rien de frais, uniquement des sandwichs salés et pâtisseries manufacturées à choisir parmi une liste. Nous avons demandé s’il était possible d’avoir du pain, du beurre et des fruits… Réponse : « la loi nous interdit de proposer des produits non contrôlés et non enregistrés ».

Desayuno muy bueno, la habitación muy bonita, cómoda y limpia y resto de instalaciones muy bien. Una pena haber pasado solo una noche. Hacia frío fuera y la habitación tardó en calentarse bastante. Aparte que el aire acondicionado hacia un sonido raro y tuvimos que apagarlo para dormir. Pero quitando eso, todo bien!

Goede communicatie op voorhand per W App. Heel verzorgd persoonlijk ontbijt buiten. Ontbijt voor vroeg vertrek werd in samenspraak ook op voorhand klaargezet. Wagen kan veilig vlak naast het verblijf achter poort gezet worden.

Paulo, our host, was amazing. He waited for us till late at night to accommodate & greet us, and was always responsive and very kind. He answered all our requests so fast. • carole (8/5): - Le jeune homme qui nous a accueilli était très bien avec des explications claires sur la chambre et les sorties à faire autour du lieu de séjour. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et servi sur une jolie terrasse. Villa très jolie mais si l on veut profiter des extérieurs il faut faire abstraction du bruit de la route et de la voie de chemin de fer. Heureusement dans la chambre le bruit est nettement diminué. Nous n avons pas pu mettre la climatisation la nuit car elle faisait trop de bruits

Viele hilfreiche Empfehlungen (Parken, essen, Strand,...) Keine Ablage in der Dusche. Generell sehr wenig Ablagefläche im Badezimmer. Der Zug war wirklich sehr laut zu hören und beim draußen sitzen hört man die Schnellstraße sehr laut.

Ma nonostante ciò, abbiamo adorato la privacy assoluta e l’ampia piscina a completa disposizione. Buona anche la colazione servita al mattino. Le indicazioni per raggiungerla sono poco chiare. È facile confonderla con una struttura vicina.

Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato nella piscina che doveva essere ad uso esclusivo di noi ospiti delle persone, probabilmente ospiti del proprietario, che si sono intrattenuti qualche ora. Nessun disturbo, però avremmo preferito saperlo prima considerato che l’unica stanza era la nostra e dunque c’erano delle persone estranee all’interno della struttura.

Bathroom amenities missing: toilet paper holder, no shelf in shower for soap or shampoo, no place in bathroom for toiletries, etc. No coffee making ability. GPS guided to back of property so unable to find without lat / long coordinates. Signage of street turnoff with address would have been helpful.

Good secure parking for your car. The towels in the bathroom are low quality. The brakfast is served outside which was too cold for early November. The brakfast is poor. Only Italian traditional not fresh breakfast.

Highly recommend lunch at S.Vito and boat tour from there The mattress had a plastic cover that could be noisy. The bathroom was quite narrow and shower leaked. Accommodation on the grounds of the owners house but did not feel intrusive

Most notable was the young host who served us our delicious breakfast each morning. He was extremely hospitable and we much enjoyed our conversations with him during our stay. We were glad we had a car, however, as it was NOT a short walk to the town center. Our host told us about a free parking lot in town, which helped. A nice stay!! Was not apparent until we arrived, that the property is located right beside the highway, so traffic noise was constant with door open or sitting outside. However, did not bother us at night.

• Lindsay (9/5): We loved our visit and will certainly recommend this classy accommodation to others. - The breakfast was great and the outside situation allowed us to make friends with the other guests. We appreciated all the recommendations made about the local area by Paolo our charming and welcoming host. The pool was excellent and set in beautiful surrounds, perfect for an end of day dip to relax and unwind. A smart property in a very peaceful location. The lack of pans, plates, cutlery etc did not match the description of a "fully equipped kitchen".
• Mie (7/5): Stay in private villa - We at first thought we booked a hotel, and only realised a couple of days before our stay that it might be an apartment. As it turned out it was a studio, part of a private villa. They have 2 rooms they rent out. With separate entrance to the main house. We had a very nice stay and we were well looked after by the staff. You have a lovely breakfast with the other guests, if there is any. We were free to use the pool. The owner was not in residence when we were there. Its about 15- 20 min walk to Polignano a Mare, fine during the day, but very dark and not so nice walking back late at night. We highly recommend going to the grotto beach and the restaurant there for lunch, great seafood and huge portions!! 😆 (share the starters) Bella Mbriana in the main town Square, for the most wonderful thin crispy pizzas to die for.. Cru restaurant for a classy dining experience, but not too pricy. It could be made clearer how to get to the property and state what they are renting out. There is cooking facilities in the room, but no plates, pots or pans...!! There is another property, called Santa Caterina, where we went first, as we thought we had booked there. It was total confusion...Especially as my Italian is a bit limited. Maybe they should change their name to something else? The house is very close to a motor way, the house is possible build prior to its arrival, but that does put a damper on the appeal to lay around the pool soaking up the sun for too long, as the noise does get to you after a while.

There was no doubt that he wanted to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The pool and outdoor are is truly beautiful. Without doubt the best part of the stay. The property is located outside of the main tourist area of Polignano a Mare. It’s a lovely secluded place that offers good privacy for a relaxing stay. The city centre is a 15 minute walk or short drive. There are several swimming locations close by. The property is located near the motorway. Whilst the noise is a constant background hum, it is still there. It didn’t bother me and certainly didn’t affect our sleeping as the rooms are quite soundproofed.

There are some minor issues, probably negligible but not expected considering the price per night. For example, the house is very close to the highway and the room was very noisy all night long. Also the restroom is very small and lacks hangers for paper and towels, as well as shelfs in the shower. Although it seems to be the policy everywhere in this region, check-out before 10 am seems unreasonable and it was very inconvenient.

• Emma (9/5): Relaxed, comfortable stay with beautiful pool and superb breakfast! - A lovely, well presented accommodation with just two guest rooms and a beautiful pool and sun terrace for guests. The host, Paolo was so friendly and informative and the breakfast was delicious - fruit, homemade cakes and focaccia, yogurt, meats etc. The hotel is a 20 minute very enjoyable and easy walk along the cycle path overlooking the sea into the old town. There you will find gorgeous streets, restaurants and places for a drink with a view. We particularly enjoyed Osteria Piga. The hotel is next to the main road so there is some traffic noise when sitting by the pool which is a shame, but the space is so lovely we were able to overlook that. The room was perfectly quiet, the A/C was efficient although could have done with an extra blanket. The room on first appearance wasn't quite as luxurious as we had expected for the price however it was spacious, exceptionally clean, well equipped and the bed very comfy so we had no issues and felt comfy there. Perhaps could have done with being made a little more pretty but if you were spending a lot of time there the self catering facilities were very good, although we didn't make use. Free secure parking on the grounds was an added bonus. Grazie Paolo! Some traffic noise nearby but not the end of the world. The pool so close to the town centre made up for it.
• Guy (9/5): Superb - Overall the stay was very comfortable. Highlights include the pool, location, and communication with the property managers. We were surprised that our room was below ground. There was nothing wrong with the room but it caught us a bit off guard. Additionally, it seems that the family who lives in the main house just built these units and hired some property managers to manage the guest experience. This was fine for the most part, but it was a bit odd to walk by people that generally ignored our existence.

Short walk to town and the breakfast on the outside dining table was delicious. The pool was heavenly. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Definitely worth staying at. Thank you!
