• David (9/5): Fantastic roomy apartment close to city centre. - Modern, roomy and clean. Great location. Great kitchen and laundry facilities. Love the fancy loo! Lovely Hagley park across the road. Not a great sofa and could do with a few spots off the floor for bags and toiletries but on the whole a great space. No on site parking but if you pick your time you can easily get an un timed park out front.
• Clive (5/5): - Warm north facing apartment meant no bedroom aircon was required or missed. Nice outlook from the living space with sunny enclosed balcony. Despite no photo's of the bedroom, I can confirm it exists and contains a comfortable queen bed with bi-fold door out to a small balcony. Power points both sides of the bed is a nice bonus. A coffee machine would have been a nice touch. Shame the agent prioritised charging extra for a late check out rather than going the extra mile and allowing complementary late checkout given there was clearly adequate leeway to accommodate the request.

• Petra (10/5): Super Apartment mit toller Lage! Jederzeit wieder! - Tolles Apartment zentral gelegen. Mit dem Bus ist man in einer halben Stunde am Flughafen. In die Stadt kann man laufen und der Botanische Garten ist um die Ecke. Es ist sehr ruhig und hat alles, was man braucht. Das Raumklima ist super (nicht immer der Fall in Neuseeland) und die Betten sehr bequem.

• Terry (9/5): Great location in Christchurch. - Excellent location with a view across the park and 10 minutes walk into city. Apartment is very new with all facilities I required. I thought the closed in balcony that you could open windows on was an excellent feature.Highly recommended. Be aware that unit is on second floor and there is no lift. This was not s problem for me as I only travel with carry on bags.

• Jasmin (10/5): Sehr schön und sehr gemütlich! - Uns war gleich ganz am Anfang klar: beim nächsten Mal in Christchurch, planen wir länger hier in der tollen Wohnung ein. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt! Der Balkon / Wintergarten ist super : man sitzt draußen uns drinnen zugleich- wie praktisch! Das Badezimmer ist schön geräumig und das Schlafzimmer total herzig und sehr ruhig! Die Küche ist top eingerichtet- die Waschmaschine sehr modern und auch vielen Dank für das Bereitstellen von Waschmittel- evtl wäre ein Wäscheständer noch ganz praktisch, wir hatten aber eine Wäscheleine dabei, somit haben wir das hinbekommen :). Der Park ist direkt neben einem -Vorteil: man ist auch direkt im Park ! Und nur in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß im Botanischen Garten . Die Bushaltestelle ist fast direkt vor der Haustür. Zum Flughafen haben wir am Morgen per Uber 25 Minuten gebraucht, also alles sehr entspannt. Das WLAN ist auch sehr schnell. Den Code für das Tor und die Tür haben wir am Morgen erhalte und es hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. In der Wohnung hat es auch eine Klimaanlage , wir haben sie nur kurz laufen lassen, aber sie funktioniert sehr gut :). Dass wir abreisen mussten :(

The location was an easy walk to public transport, shops, and local tourist attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed the view over Hagley Park (room 204). Would benefit from a better range of pillows (were a bit thin / soft for us), and perhaps a knife sharpener.

• Lauren (10/5): Loved this apartment!! Would stay again! - My partner and I stayed here and were super impressed!! The flat was gorgeous, modern and clean. We loved opening the windows which had an incredible view of the park across the road. The kitchen was the best kitchen we have ever stayed in whilst staying in short stay apartments. It had plenty of pots and pans to use/ plates/ knives etc. They even had a cupboard with some basics like salt, pepper, oil which we really appreciated. The lounge area was comfy and we loved the tv with access to Netflix. The bedroom was lovely, lots of storage and the bed extremely comfy. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. Our only criticism is the shower head for some reason wouldn’t stay in a fixed position which lead to us having to hold it to shower properly. Overall we LOVED this apartment and would definitely stay again.

• David (9/5): An excelent property in the right place at the right price. Exactly what we were looking for. - Location, comfort, cleanliness and facilities. The fixture holding the shower rose in place just needs to be tightened to stop teh shower head moving around. An allen key is needed to tighten it. Otherwise and excelent property!

Great outside area, really beautiful apartment the keyless entry was also brilliant and easy. If I had to find one thing, the blinds in the bedroom still let sunlight in around the edges which when the sun is up at 5.30am is a little annoying but this is the only negative for this property

The washing machine and dryer came in very handy as we were travelling. A relatively short, scenic walk from the city centre to the apartment. Although there are cooking facilities in the apartment, note that if you are without a vehicle, there are very few shops nearby to purchase groceries or venues to dine out in the evening.

• Gerry (9/5): Comfortable and well-equipped apartment overlooking Hagley Park - The owners were very friendly and helpful, very quick to pick up the phone when we ran into a challenge and doing their best to help. The apartment was lovely; modern, warm and spacious, with views of Hagley Park and good wifi. There is no onsite car park but plenty of free parking available on the road, and usually close to the entrance.

Plenty of parking space around, didn't have any issues there. Minor initial gripe, the button to unlock the complex gate is partially hidden by a bush. Not easy to find in the dark if you aren't aware to look for it.

The enclosed balcony was a lovely space to have breakfast and watch what was going on in the park. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, all the necessities for a hime away from home and I loved the heated toilet seat, what a luxury! There was a but too much light for me in the bedroom. I prefer a really dark room. Could easily be rectified with some bock out drapes.

Loved that there is warmed seat on the toilet & high-tech bidet, and warmed towel rails too. The bed was also super comfortable. TV was huge, internet was fast. The neighbourhood was also clean and safe. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Needed to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the room & there was no elevator so bear in mind if you have heavy luggages but not a huge problem for us as we decided to leave the rest of our luggages in the car and just brought up what was necessary.

They let us leave them on the balcony and collect them after lunch which meant we didn't have to drag them round Christchurch. There's only one minor point, having to drag heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs

• Megan (10/5): A wonderful location! - Hagley Park Apartment was our first accommodation in New Zealand. The location is excellent. We loved walking through Hagley Park to get into town. The hosts were very accommodating with an early check-in. We found the unit well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The views off the balcony were lovely!

Lovely balconies, one that could be enclosed as well as open. Would definitely book here again and in fact we are at the end of our hols. Dragging big suitcases up stairs so some people just could not do it. Parking tricky until later in the day when you can then get free parking close by. Could have done with one more mirror than just the bathroom but believe me this is all being really picky.
