• henri (6/5): Ein schönes Hotel, das aber seinem Anspruch als Luxushotel nicht mehr ganz gerecht wird. - Die Lage mit dem Blick auf den See ist wunderschön. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse, das gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr sauber und geräumig war. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Restaurant mit einer ausgezeichneten Küche. Leider benutzten die Gäste aus den Nachbarzimmern den Weg über unsere Terrasse als willkommene Abkürzung, um zum See zu gelangen und hatten vollen Einblick in unser Zimmer. Die Terrassenstühle waren zudem ohne Kissen sehr ungemütlich. Auf Anfrage haben wir zwar Kissen bekommen, die aber aus Plastik und nicht angenehm waren. Insgesamt macht das Hotel in vielen Details einen leicht vernachlässigten Eindruck, insbesondere die Holzterrassen und die Blumenkästen sind in keinem guten Zustand. Der Badestrand besteht aus Kieseln, ohne Badeschuhe kommt man nicht ins Wasser. Ich kann dem Hotel nur sehr empfehlen, einen Steg anzulegen, über den der Einstieg so viel einfacher wäre. Die Liegen am Strand haben keine Auflagen und sind somit unbequem.

• Christine (10/5): Extraordinaire! - Petite structure hôtelière extrêmement chaleureuse, très bien décorée, idéalement située avec une vue imprenable sur la baie Manzano. La chambre était tout simplement extraordinaire et que dire du spa et de la piscine climatisée… un vraie plus après une longue journée. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et le personnel à l’écoute tout en étant discret. La Escondida est véritablement une pépite qui nous invite à revenir à chaque saison.

Spa completo (saunas, hidromasaje, piscina exterior, etc.) Y el personal muy agradable y dispuesto a ayudar. Una cancha de Paddle fue la sorpresa para pasar un rico fin de semana de relajo.

Unica observação que para mim poderia melhorar seria o banheiro, um pouco simples se comparado com o restante das instalações. Mas voltaria com certeza, amei a experiência.

It was difficult to sleep. Surprising considering how expensive this hotel is. The rooms were just okay. Nice staff. Good breakfast.

• Marc (9/5): Charming hotel. - This is a charming hotel with great energies and a superb location right on the lake shores. Lake View Rooms are large and comfortable, although furnishings are a bit dated. Staff were friendly and polite, especially the wonderful Magdalena who fielded our many requests with remarkable patience and efficiency. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended facility, wish we could have stayed longer. No balconies in the lake view rooms. What a pity!

Our window had a perfect lake view, the room has great facilities such as plugs for foreigners, super king bed, bracelet with a chip to open the door, really comfortable bed, lovely decoration, really clean room, great hot shower, big bathroom, really friendly and helpfull staff. Great breakfast. Easy access to the lake.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Very cozy and serene hotel in beautiful location - La Escondida is a tastefully decorated and very cozy place with stunning views across the lake all the way to the mountains. It was originally built as a private house, which adds to the feeling of a private and very homely stay. The spa and the outdoor pool are a bliss.
