Guest Reviews
- Paul (9/5): We run a bicycle race called Gravel & Wine and the property was very close to our venue and was good - Easy access, nice neighbors. Nice kitchen and dog friendly The A/C was a little weak as it was a hot weekend.

- Jammie (8/5): Nice location & neighborhood - We enjoyed this location. It was close to everything we needed to get to and our friends actually rented the one right next-door so it made it really nice that we could walk back-and-forth and see each other.. it is perfect for a couples getaway The only thing that was tough is the Nespresso machine didn’t have a water filter to use so we weren’t able to make coffee out of that, but it did have a Keurig so we were able to use that and we eventually found the regular coffee pot, but it was in a cupboard with a coffee filter and everything still in it just put away
- Louis (10/5): - Great place, quaint and quiet. Large yard in the back if you want to bring dogs. The back door has a small dog door installed. We will bring ours next time.
- David (10/5): We were here for a wedding and this was a perfect place to stay. - The bungalow was very well appointed and very comfortable with all of the things that make it feel like home. The back yard though large and if we had brought our pup with us she would have loved it, but it could use a little up darting. Also a lockable / unlock-able back door so you could enter and exit via the carport would be nice.
- Brenda (8/5): Very good -
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - The place was even better than the pictures! The amenities were great, the place was beautiful and really in great condition. I would absolutely stay here again. It was so easy to get in and such a great experience. Great location.
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dana (9/5): Superb - Very nice area! Felt very safe. All good
- Rachel (1/5): Regrettable experience. - Bed was comfortable The house had a noticeable pet odor upon arrival, which required extra effort on my part to address. Additionally, it was quite cold inside despite having the heater all the way up. House did not seem well insulated, making it less comfortable than expected. I tried to use the extra blankets in the bedroom closet, but they reeked of wet dog and had clearly not been laundered.
When I raised these concerns with the host, I found the response to be somewhat dismissive. As someone with extensive hosting experience, I value open communication and accountability, so this was disappointing. Despite following all the checkout instructions, including taking out the trash and stripping the bed as requested, I received an unexpectedly curt message from the host at the end of my stay.
Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I would encourage future guests to clarify any concerns with the host in advance.
- Mary (8/5): Quaint and comfortable. - The location is excellent. We did a lot of walking in the morning and people who were out and about were very friendly and welcoming. Nice neighborhood! The bathroom door squeaks. Give it some ❤️ and a bit of lubrication.
- Angelika (10/5): Beautiful little house, very clean and comfy - Appreciated the code to lock box. Property was clean and very comfortable. Communication with Owner was easy A few more pots and bowls in the kitchen would've been nice but, everything is there to make due
- Tillotson (10/5): Exceptional - What breakfast??
- Tracy (10/5): We would definitely stay here again! - The bed was very comfortable !! And it was very clean!!
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Williams (8/5): Very good - The home was clean. It's located in a quiet area. Easy access to town center. There was nothing to dislike.
- Leah (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - This house was a gem. Quiet, clean, comfortable bed and good shower pressure. Great place! Internet was a little weak but it was fine for our needs.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Quiet Neighborhood. Renovated bathroom was nice. Newer bedroom flooring and comfortable bed was appreciated. Host communicated well and worked with us on a date adjustment we had to make.
- Pamela (8/5): Very good -
- Halladeb1 (5/5): Passable - The unit's location is within walking distance of the main street of Atascadero, making it relatively easy to find coffee and dinner locations. the house was well equipped with furnishings and kitchen supplies. the house was decorated nicely and had a nice size backyard and ample parking for our needs. OK, here we go. I really liked the location and the setup but the bed mattress could be newer it was quite lumpy and hard for my husband and me to sleep on. (it could be our backs- just to be fair) but not knowing how old it is it was a tough sleep. The floor creaked... omg... the TV was our most prominent bone of contingency and it has taken me a while to write because I want to be fair, the house is lovely (so don't get me wrong) could it have been better- Yes! the TV did not work well and for a town that closes at 9 pm afterward to wind down, we watch TV- well that wasn't happening the WI-FI kept bouncing in and out. Although our host gave troubleshooting tips it never worked within the 4 days we were there. Upon arrival we found fleas, we were responsible for predominantly most of the cleaning (breaking down the beds, sheets, towels, trash, dishes, sinks, and bath- we paid a fee for cleaning so what did the HC do??? we were also told that we had to pack up and place the trash in their cans that were supposed to be located in the back well the cans were in the front, and we had to pull them to the back...ahem. Although this was a nice setup home, it just did not work for us overall we ended up leaving a day early for our next destination.
- Anonymous (10/5): I stayed for a wedding with just me and my dog. it was such a great home and visit! the hosts were super polite as well - it was absolutely beautiful and welcoming!
- David (9/5): GREAT APT THAT HAD EVERYTHING WE NEED FOR A LONG WEEKEND GETAWAY. - EASY CONTACT WITH OWNER A CONECTTED WALL WITH ANOTHER TENANT WITH THIN WALLS
- Jay (8/5): Recommend for Leisure, with Notes - Convenient location. Clean place. Great value. Pretty friendly. Big yard (mostly rocks) was helpful for my dog. Full kitchen stocked with most non-food items). Netflix account already logged in. Highly recommend for a leisure trip despite the cons noted. Internet kept going in and out (faulty modem or service line--probably temporary). Even when connected, speeds weren't great (8Mbps download/1Mbps upload). My trip was a combo work remote and then leisure weekend. Working remote was a challenge. Personally, I would have liked a full sized couch (it's half a full couch). Bed was soft for my preferences. Payment confusion using Booking (owner prefers Airbnb). So-so water pressure in shower. Toilet and shower not great for tall people (I'm 6'4). Small lights over the house numbers would go a long way (we arrived at night and thankfully I had a flashlight to be sure I was going to the right place--it's a duplex. The second night, visitors to the other unit had the same problem and tried to enter where I was and scared me).
