Guest Reviews
- Juliette (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - The bed and the pillow were very confortable, the shower was hot, and the attendents were very careful! The only point was that I felt bad, and I could not to do the tour I have scheduled. So then, I tried to have my money back, and the attendent said it was not possible anymore, because it was 10:00 PM, and the limit for cancellations was 7:00 PM. However, I was not advised about that.
- Jayde (10/5): The friendliest and most helpful staff! - Can’t recommend this hostel enough, I came to Peru after climbing potosi in Bolivia and have been incredibly unwell since, I booked a private room for 2 nights and honestly had they not been full I would of stayed much longer! The staff couldn’t do enough and helped get me a doctor out to come to the hostel bringing everything I needed like oxygen and steroids to treat what turned out to be ARDS from the 6k altitude and my asthma. The staff spoke great English too which really helped me in this situation. The stay was super comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic, you seriously couldn’t beat the views either. Great location, short walk to historical town and they also take card! Would recommend to anyone in Arequipa!
- Samson (7/5): Incredible rooftop view - The incredible rooftop view. The other friendly travelers you meet at the hostel. The place could use better signage to make it easier to find especially at night. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors.
- Kavita (7/5): Good location and pleasant staff - The place is well located. The hotel was flexible and allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was minimalistic and a good start for the day. The patio could do with some upgrading.
- Sian (7/5): Good - It was a good stay for a couple of nights. Staff were friendly and I liked the location. View from the roof terrace was great. I stayed in a pretty basic dorm room that was not shown in the pictures, the door didn't actually close and frequently drifted open but it was okay for 2 nights
- Côme (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kiran (10/5): Originally only booked two nights then arranged transport via the hostel to go solo col a canyon three days. Came back w - Amazing location 10min from plaza the armas, 5 min from the park. Amazing view at breakfast and the small bar. The breakfast was really good, and the bunk beds in the dorm were the best I’ve ever had. Real private bed feel in a dorm as all the beds were closed off.
- Vanessa (6/5): Probably better options around - The views from the rooftop are great. The location is also pretty good. Room was overall clean and comfortable. First of all, the area where the hostel is located constantly smelled like urine (all 3 days we were there) which was not very pleasant to begin with. We paid extra for a room with a mountain view but upon arrival were given a room that was not made up or cleaned at all (turns out it hadn't been cleaned for days). We were then given another room without a view and without being offered a discount (as we paid extra for the view) which was quite frustrating. Staff overall was not very attentive or approachable, and breakfast was super basic and never filling.
- Angela (8/5): Very good -
- Meike (9/5): It felt like coming home - The staff was really friendly! There was a nice cocktail class to make the famous pisco sour, which was a lot of fun. After that, we needed to eat something (me and the people I met during this class) and they helped us ordering the best sushi! ❤️ Nothing
- Conboy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Eldin (9/5): Superb - Very nice breakfast with incredible view.
I stayed in the 6 people dorm and the 4 people dorm during my time in Arequipa. I would recommend the 6 people dorm, in contrast to the 4 person dorm it has a small lamp and outlets at every bed and a bit more space in the bathroom for a lower price
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Mirka (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing breakfast - pancakes and eggs The room was located in lobby so it was noisy, I was checking out at 3am needed to cache my bus and the guy didn't want to le me go becouse they had some mix up
- Pareesha (8/5): Very good -
- Rinat (10/5): Exceptional - Great atmosphere, on the center of the city, the rooftop is nice and the breakfast is great. I had the best time at that hostel.
- Phoebe (10/5): Great stay - This hostel was great. Clean, excellent helpful staff who let me store my luggage for a trek and shower after despite not staying with them that night. The breakfast is great. Staff also make an effort to learn your name and ask about your excursions. Nothing
- Allison (7/5): Great value for a couple of nights. I would come back and would love to try their private rooms as well. - Great location, incredible view, fantastic staff! Breakfast was so good! The dorm had a lot of outside news but I think that’s everywhere in the center of Arequipa.
Shower was cold, but I discovered that if you turn it on very little, it will be hot!
- Jacob (8/5): Very good -
- Tuna (10/5): Best time in Peru - The rooms were clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location is really good and the view of the terrace is amazing. The staff is very friendly, especially Yaku, Harol and Joss upgraded with their kindness our time in Arequipa. We really felt home here and were sad to leave. We really had the most familiar time here. Nothing
- Pierre (9/5): Superb - Great and helpful staff, spacious room and a great view from the terrace! The location is good and central, so very good value at this price. Leaving your luggage is no problem at all and I'd be happy to stay in the same place again when returning to Arequipa. It can be a bit noisy (dogs barking and noises from breakfast).
- Alejandro (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (9/5): Great place to stay and would stay again. - It’s in a nice area only a 10min walk to the main square. The staff was always helpful A couple places if you are tall you might knock your head while walking around the hotel. Nothing major most tall people have learned to deal with it.
- Danielle (9/5): Superb - Good location, big room with spacious bathroom. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Nice breakfast on the rooftop, with lovely views
- Harriet (8/5): Lovely - Nice location, clean space and comfy beds
- Ella (8/5): Great - Huge rooms and comfy beds, hot showers, great location - 5 min walk from anything. Basic breakfast of eggs, but the terrace is lovely to eat on! Wifi was awful at the start of our stay
- Alexander (9/5): Superb -
- Annika (10/5): Exceptional - Located close to the center, but still quiet. Super nice staff, awesome breakfast. Two nice rooftop terraces with views of the volcanos and cozy hammocks. Everything was clean and there was always hot water. The best hostel I've stayed at in Peru so far. Would have loved to stay longer but there were no free rooms for the next day. A minor thing: Only one of the two terraces has shade, the other one can get quite warm.
- Jeremiah (10/5): Exceptional - Room was clean and comfortable. Well located and staff were very helpful
- Clément (8/5): Very good - Great staff, nice breakfast and good quality overall We could have paid more than expected because the receptionist used the wrong currency rate
- Roisin (7/5): Good -
- Davide (10/5): Exceptional -
- Romain (7/5): Good - The location was perfect and the staff was kind. The rooftop terrace was great for breakfast. Our room was a fridge with barely any natural light.
- Christie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - This hostel is an absolute gem, the people who run it are lovely and always ready to help you with whatever you need.
The breakfast is great and huge with amazing pancakes served on a beautiful terrace every morning overlooking the city and volcano.
The rooms are great, spacious and the bathroom and hot showers are class!
If your looking to stay in Arequipa look no further then this amazing hostel, you won't regret it.
P.s they have thee cutest puppy who loves a good play. Nothing.
- Paige (10/5): Recommend - Great outdoor spaces - hammocks and roof terrace. Very attentive staff. Superb breakfast included!
Everything very clean - especially bedding where you can smell the freshness. Easy walk to everything and quiet at night
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - Probably the best place I've stayed in. I arrived at 5am in the morning and the host gave me a room before check in (still had to pay) as I was knackered from an overnight bus. The breakfast of pancakes with bananas and eggs was wonderful and the view was even better. The rooms were wonderful and the facilities were fantastic. I have even stayed an extra 3 nights. I highly, highly recommend this place.
- Mini_traveller92 (9/5): Superb - Good location only about 10mins walk to plaza.
Banana pancakes for breakfast with the rooftop view was amazing.
Bedroom was huge and comfy.
Shower was warm (but not hot)
Good wifi Shower being a bit on the colder side for me
