• Tina (10/5): Top Preis-Leistungsverhätnis - Saubere, schöne & komfortable Unterkunft. Lucky und seine Familie sind sehr herzlich und bieten alles für einen rundum wohlfühlenden Aufenthalt. Die Dives mit Lucky sind auch sehr zu empfehlen - sehr erfahrener und ruhiger Dive Instructor. Gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück von Bananen Pancakes über Sandwiches - liebevoll zubereitet. -

• Sarah (10/5): - Die Familie ist total nett und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist makellos sauber, das Frühstück war jeden Tag abwechslungsreich und total lecker. Man kann vor Ort Touren buchen, einen Roller ausleihen und Tauchen. Wir haben mit dem Gastvater Lucky einen Nightdive gemacht, das war sehr schön. Zudem gibt es einen Wasserspender und Kaffee/Tee kann man sich auch den ganzen Tag machen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und man kann den Sonnenuntergang sehen. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Danke an die Familie für den tollen Aufenthalt. -

• Vin.cent (10/5): - Clean and comfy room, directly at the beach. Different breakfast options. Possibility to do Diving, Snorkeling, Renting a Motorbike, ... 100% recommended!
• Jonas (9/5): Book it! - Lucky is a great guy, a very good dive instructur and very helpful. Snorkling is awesome on bunaken. Be aware you live next to locals so dont expect resort ameneties. Beach use could be nicer with sunbeds.. Room wasnt cleaned during our 5 night stay.

• Bärbel (10/5): Wenn man auf europäischen Standard verzichten kann … eine wirklich gute und einfache Adresse - Unser Herbergsvater Lucky war sehr nett und mein Enkel Matty 8 Jahre alt, war von Lucky so begeistert, dass er ihn als Papa haben möchte. Lucky hat Matty viel vom typischen Leben der Indonesier auf Bunaken erzählt . Lucky war mit meinem Enkel Schnorcheln und Delfine konnten bestaunt werden. Mein Enkel lernte viel übers Fischen und das etwas andere Leben auf Bunaken kennen. Ich persönlich fand es sehr gut weil somit die Kinder aus Europa auch das andere Leben einiger Kinder kennen lernen und sehen konnte. Der Ausblick war super. Direkt am Meer lag die Herberge. Gute AC und super WLAN Die Zimmer wurden als Deluxe Zimmer bei Booking.com angeboten. Was aber dann vom Inhaber sofort berichtigt wurde. Das war auch der Grund warum ich dieses Homestay gebucht habe. Die Zimmer sind für uns Standard sehr einfach. Das Zimmer was nach hinten raus ging, hatte keine Klospülung und keinen Klodeckel. Es musste mit einem Schöpfer, das Wasser für die Toilette aus einer blauen Tonne geschöpft werden. Es ist wirklich sehr einfach und muss einem bewusst sein wenn man ein Homestay mietet. Es war kein Problem aber für viele womöglich nicht passend. Auch war es sehr laut. Die Hähne krähen sehr früh und genau gegenüber gab es 11 Hundewelpen, die nachts immer schrieen vor Hunger. Wir fanden es trotzdem sehr spannend und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Menschen drum herum passen aufeinander auf und sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der angebliche Privatstrand… es gibt ein Strand Abschnitt, wo viele Boote anlegen und somit … nichts mit privat. Leider verrichten dort viele Hunde ihr Geschäft und das macht diesen Abschnitt nicht sehr einladend.
• Miki (9/5): This family is the best! - The twin room is beachfront while the double room is streetside. I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places. The neighbour is SO loud, already from 06:30, yelling across the beach or singing terribly. It's difficult sometimes to have a private phone call from INSIDE my room, so beware if you have any important formal meetings to attend o_O
