- Tony (3/5): -
- Barry Brown (8/5): Great outdoor experience and location for flowers - Location for the flowers was great. The road through the National Park was also amazing.
Nice camping atmosphere.
- Badileanu (8/5): Less than pleasant experience with this place - It was basic but had most of the necesities.Location is very isolated but is good ,in the heart if Namaqualand but to get there is a bit of a nightmarish road . There were still lots of beautiful flowers around The communication was very poor .The Host never came to great us. Instead they sent the 14 y old kids to serve food and talk to us!!! The signs on the gravel road are bad and basically non existent.. The gravel road is difficult and quite dangerous over the pass, we had no idea!!The Wi Fi for the room is advertised but did not work at all . There was hardly any reception for the phones even outside in yard . We got lost in the mountains leaving bc we had no map no internet or phone reception &no information from host! We tried to call her but phones didnt work.
- Helen (8/5): Warm welcoming staff and wide open spaces. - They were able to provide meals if you needed them in a very remote town. communal kitchen was quite basic - no microwave just gas or braai.
- Peter (8/5): Great location for the flowers 💐 - Great location to see flowers. Very rustic. Hot water and water pressure an issue.
- Marie Beukes (7/5): - The dinner was good The toilet was not smelling well.
- Barry (8/5): Comfortable stay with helpful staff. - Clean facilities and Friendly staff. Shower facilities could improve .
- Johan (8/5): - The chalets are comfortable but morning shower in winter was Luke warm. No WiFi. No shower in the chalet. No WiFi in chalet.

- van der Walt (4/5): - Location is nice, got potential Absolutely no way to find the place. Wrong address on booking, WRONG name of the place as well. So confusing.
- Carol (7/5): Good - The cabins had a loo and basin even though the rest was basically a very decent camping site. BIG plus!!!
The hosts were very friendly and helpful Maybe the kitchen could have had a microwave. But the location is remote and they are on solar so maybe not a realistic suggestion. We just didn't realise how rustic it was and didn't come properly prepared. But for people who like camping, and are geared for it, it is great...
- Jason (10/5): Beautiful affordable accommodation with lovely staff! - Kallabaskop offers a wonderful relaxing stay out in the heart of Namaqualand. The rooms and facilities are what you'd expect from a minimalist eco-lodge, but perfectly sufficient to have a wonderful stay. What made the trip especially awesome are the lodge's owners, Cornelia and Andre, who are incredibly helpful and kind! The lodge's location near the park is a little difficult to get to, as the roads leading into Soebatsfontein are all sandy-clay. I do not recommend driving in a low vehicle! Also phone ahead to ask for directions so as to avoid getting stuck on a 4x4 only trail. Be warned, as there is little to no cellphone reception in and around the area itself, so plan communication ahead of time. Namaqualand is also not for everyone, as there is very little to do in the area save appreciate the splendor of nature.
- Hendrik (9/5): Superb -
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -
- Timm (4/5): Disappointing -
- Allison (7/5): Good - Location near the Namaqua National Park entrance. Easy access. Only unlock gate at 8am...needs to be arranged if earlier. NO CELL SERVICE and no wifi to make up for it. We had problems at home and could not contact anyone as we had zero signal. Having to go boil water in communal area for coffee. Gas stove took forever to boil the water. Space a bit small in the room.
- De (8/5): Very good - Excellent location. Unspoiled nature
