Guest Reviews
- Tracey (9/5): We loved it there, it was low season so very quiet, we were the only ones there apart from a couple of nights. We couldn - The location, the pool and the superb breakfast
- June (9/5): Unique Hotel with great pool, better to eat in their restaurant - The location, pool and staff here are great. Comfy beds and parking. It’s quite unique for a short stay. The room and lighting in the room are quite dark. There is a musty smell around the entrance and room.
- Diane (10/5): Loved every minute of it! One day wasn’t enough, we will surely stay longer next time. - Very beautiful, peaceful and a pristine piece of property. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The manager spoke excellent English and was very helpful in recommendations. The dinner buffet was absolutely delicious, and the entertainment was very well put together. There is no air conditioning, but you don’t need it, I actually needed a sweater. No TV, which was wonderful, it made it that much more peaceful. We loved everything about it.

- ralph (7/5): - Svårt o få kontakt med boendet . Mailade flera gånger men fick svar först flera dagar senare .
Also packt euch etwas warmes ein.
- Nicholas (9/5): A nice place to stay , very quiet during the day , noisy in the evening because of the bar up the road - In an area to nearby attractions
- Good (6/5): -

- GENIN (8/5): Lieu incroyable et traditionnel - Le lieu magnifique. Le repas buffet sur la terrasse. Le spectacle pour présenter les traditions Hmong. On a eu froid. ça manquait de couvertures er d’oreillers supplémentaires. Dîner terminé à 20h
- elodie (8/5): - La nature du lieu, magnifique, calme Un peu trop éloigné des activités possibles,
- Bas (9/5): Oase in het groen.. - Fijne rustige accommodatie! Douch druk…
- Ewa (10/5): - Wspaniała obsługa, powalający ogród, vintage styl domków, które nawiązują do historii grupy etnicznej Hmong. To miejsce, które swoim charakterem i naturalnością zdecydowanie przebija top hotele.
Was helemaal open. Echt niet te doen.
- Claire (8/5): Beautiful nature retreat away from it all. - Breakfast was varied and protected from flies. Staff were very friendly and responsive and kind.
- Sarah (8/5): - If you a looking for a quiet mountain/rainforest getaway to recharge, this is the place. 1 hours drive from Chiang Mai in the most beautiful surroundings. Chill on your privat balcony, while reading a book or simply just relax and listen to all the wildlife around you, while you enjoy the amazing views. Or spend you morning walking along the main road, where you can visit the orange farms, the sheep farm/petting zoo or just buy some tasty fruit or vegetables from the local kind smiling farmers. There is also a small trekking trail leaving from behind the Lodge, staff will happily give you a map a show you where it starts. Finish your day with a nice dip in the pool.
Only minus is do to the lodge is in the rainforest and houses and build in traditional style, but beds and bedding accommodate western standards. The beds can feel cold and damped.
Staff is amazing
- Michael (8/5): Great location, breakfast was fine. Very supportive staff. - Sophon was fantastic. Offered to help with transport and activities. Beautiful location. Clean and safe.
- Francesco (8/5): As always amazing stay - The food is amazing, the pool is so beautiful with an impressive view, breakfast very big Room Price should be more cheap
- Natasha (7/5): -
- Alison (8/5): Blissfully peaceful - Loved the Hmong dancers, the lodge's fabulous location and its beautiful flowers. Nothing! It would have been good to visit a Hmong village.
- Gerhard (9/5): Super schöner und entspannender Aufenthalt! -
- Doris (9/5): A worthwhile retreat in the mountains, a bit basic in places but good to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful countrysi - Designed with a lot of love, the lodge sits in a lovely location, along a well maintained road but set back enough to give the feeling that you are in the jungle. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is reasonably priced and very tasty, although after three days, we had tried all dishes. In some places we had the feeling a bit more maintenance would be beneficial; we stayed in the rainy season and some of the paths were very slippery, they should be cleared of the moss and algae to make them safe. Cleaning of the rooms was ok but some corners were clearly missed, that’s why I would not give it 10/10.
- Mandi (8/5): Beautiful to relax - Beautiful Pool in a great landscape.
Staff give good tips for activities. No save in the room
- Pmeka (9/5): Calm and peaceful stay - Food quality,
Bed is comfortable, blanket is warm enough for around 10 -15 celcius
Shower pressure
Quiteness
Secludeness of the location despite not far from the city/ 30 mins drive uphill
Mountain view If the bidet is heated or heater in toilet provided, it would be perfect
- Valentina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Orange (10/5): Quiet & Peaceful - Quiet, nice area to walk around and relax
- Loukman (7/5): Good - Great views and a fire-pit Staff weren’t very nice to us

In a paradise of nature
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet setting. It is well off the beaten path. Near the top of the mountain.
- Lukas (9/5): Superb -
- Jagat (8/5): Comfortable stay in natural ambiance with great views, serviced by competent and caring staff - Well laid out property with lovely ambiance. Great variety of native trees and shrubs. Nice lawns and pool, excellent catering and caring staff. Maintenance after monsoon needs attention. Musty rooms, unpolished wood work, Jammed windows and blinds, rotting floor boards in some areas exposed to rain, and broken benches in garden.
- Francesco (10/5): A trip to repeat - I love the welcome and the staff, they are very kind,, the food is amazing and the rooms are really big Nothing
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -

- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nyan (6/5): Pleasant -

- Finn (8/5): Very good - The location was lovely and peaceful
- Nick (10/5): Felt so nice, would like to visit this place again 🙏 - Amazing place. Comfortable accommodation, natural materials, breathtaking view, and the air, so fresh and cool.
- Tou (7/5): The stay was ok. It was near year's eve so it was quite noisy. - The breakfast was ok. The location was nice. Front staff was not too accommodating. They did not tell us that we have to reserve for dinner. It was WRONG to use the Hmong word to deceive Hmong oversea, in thinking that it was Hmong owned. Using Hmong to benefit is quite perplexing. There was only one Hmong staff and the only thing about Hmong is the cultural presentation by local Hmong in the village.
- Keith (10/5): Great stay - Really loved the experience here… lovely, peaceful garden has been beautifully curated, such kind staffs, comfortable accommodations.. would easily recommend to others
- Hsuan (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is very friendly. We visited during the Christmas Eve and they gave every guest a Christmas hat and some small gifts while we having the dinner.
Located in the mountains area. It's a bit cold at night but they provided a small heater in the room which is very thoughtful.
- Anna (6/5): Good - Beautiful location with beautiful garden. Really nice and big room Little outdated, staff did not speak a lot of English so it was difficult to communicate
- Saich (9/5): Superb -
- Therese (9/5): Superb - Beautiful grounds, lovely comfy room with great views and lovely big shower. Excellent breakfast. The staff were all fantastic and super sweet and h3lpful. It was great for a short stay, but a but remote for longer
- Paw (10/5): Exceptional - The view was so amazing and the people there are so friendly. Nothing much nearby. This place is more suitable for staycation and enjoying the mountain views.
- Chris (5/5): Past it's use by date. - Quiet in extensive gardens. It's well past it's use by date. Time to demolish all rooms and modernise the place. Now bordering on rustic. Ordinary breakfast. Room (superior) smelling musty. Staff not much help and had to lug luggage up gravel path to reception. All pathways gravel so cannot use wheels on luggage. No umbrellas around swimming pool loungers. Much better value elsewhere. Looked like it's not being frequented much as only one other guest.
- Catthomp (10/5): Awesome - Everything, 2nd time staying here and does not disappoint!!
Amazing experience, would highly recommend 👌🏾
- Francis (10/5): Beautiful peaceful place - Very tranquil place it was an unique experience, lovely pool for a swim, apart from 1 more couple we were the only ons staying so it was lovely and quiet, beautiful surroundings, Lovely food.
Lots of categorie around that came and say hi Nothing it was all good
- Bryan (4/5): Disappointing - Scenery Overpriced, for everything, ..bad location for transportation,.
- Elisa (10/5): 100% Holiday - This place is magical. If u are having a trip in Thailand and need a few days of relax, you can’t find a better place!
One hour away from Chiang Mai, The jungle , the swimming pool, the friendly and smiling personal that is always ready to satisfy every request. We had a delicious breakfast and dinner, were invited to a typical performance from the village people and had a bungalow with mountains view. We needed to wash our stuff and for few money they could help us too. Our little girls and us really enjoyed our staying! Thank you to the whole team for having us.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Rouxlene (8/5): Very good - The staff was quite helpful There was no staff available at the bar to serve cocktails near the swimming pool
- Maxon (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (10/5): Fantastic - You really can't fault this place!
- Very pleasant & helpful staff
- Beds are extremely comfortable with soft sheets!
- Fantastic breakfast (a huge range of options!)
- Very clean
- Great location
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Isolation It was a peaceful relaxing stayico
- Yia (5/5): Don’t stay here if you are looking to experience a Hmong life & food. - I think that this is a pretend make to be like the Hmong for business purposes only. They only have western food. The bedding and linens may somewhat look alike Hmong but it’s owner is not Hmong. The food are western style and dinner is for a price way too much. We were hoping to go back to our culture to experience and relive the lifestyle our parents raised but we couldn’t find any real Hmong food. Also the staff were rude and denied from watch the culture show. Staff was unfriendly. Only staff one Hmong speaking employee. Not Hmong owner.
- Marie-louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garrett (7/5): a nice semi-rustic getaway into the hills - it was a bit cold so the room was freezing but we had a great view of the hills...dramatic scenery. as it was New Years it was pretty busy there but the staff were pleasant. loved the shared fire place tho it could have been made cozier
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (9/5): Stunning location in the mountains - I chose this place because of the view of the pool with the gorgeous mountain backdrop, and it didn't disappoint. It was however, a bit too cold to jump into the water. I loved that the log fire was lit every night, and my husband made friends with the local, very friendly, four-legged cat brigade. They seemed to be well looked after but they also seemed to live under the accommodations and shoed away from the restaurant.
I was mildly disappointed with the breakfast, but that's possibly because I'm not much of a fried-breakfast person, so I opted for the chicken soup and rice, and fresh fruit. That said, the dinners were great. The menu was a bit limited.
The hut we stayed in was clearly very old, with very creaky floors. It was impossible to go to the bathroom in the night without waking or being woken up.
