Guest Reviews
- Ali (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the experience. The traditional Japanese-style accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and gave us an authentic taste of Japanese culture. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto.

- severine (10/5): Maison typique japonnais très raffinée, petit déjeuner très bon aussi ! Un vrai paradis -

- Noriko (4/5): Disappointed bathtub - The floor plan was great, and the concept of the bathroom was excellent. However, the reality was that the bathtub could not be filled with hot water. We couldn't use the bathtub because it's too cold to enjoy it. It should have been able to fill the hot water quickly enough or had a warmer in the bathtub wall or something. I was very disappointed not to be able to use it since I booked this room because of the bathtub.

- Mathias (9/5): Beautiful traditional house in great central location - Beautiful traditional house that is totally updated. Comfortable beds and futons, very quiet, near restaurants and stores, good central location. A little overpriced considering other options available in Kyoto. Also, we were 2 couples and having only one main bathroom made it a little challenging.
- Satoshi (7/5): たのしい - 大きなソファ ねてると洗濯機がうるさい
- Will (10/5): - Stunning property tucked away in the backstreets - easy to get to metro station and walkable to Nishiki markets. 10/10 would stay again!
- Vaibhav (9/5): -
- Ebony (10/5): Exceptional - Considered, cosy and a great location
- Youn (10/5): Exceptional - clean and spacious
comfortable beds
close to the subway station
easy access from the train station dinner table has only 4 chairs
- Maria (10/5): This was by far my family's favorite stay. The house was large, and contemporary. - I loved the space it provided for my large family. Everything was provided from toiletries to umbrellas. A Dyson hair dryer was an unexpected treat as well as very good skin care products. A clothing iron would have been nice. There were some amazing restaurants within walking distance and a list of where to eat, places to visit would have helped along with any tips. Temples are closed on Mondays and visiting them at sunrise and sunset are great times to avoid the crowds.
