• Chris (9/5): Well impressed, Would recommend and use again. - Great location for us. Easy traffic navigation with little congestion. Great access to shopping and food outlets. All very welcoming. less rain
• Chris (10/5): Good to return to and chill out after a long day - Good central location with good access routes around Darlington. Nice and warm despite sub-zero temperatures outside. Large bath. Good kitchen facilities, great host.

Walked in to fire place tiles all peeling off, cracked living room window, just dirty, big marks in walls, garden was horrific covered in rubbish and certainly couldn’t let my wee girl out, just really not what you expect. Also; why save breakfast provided when infanct, there was 2 week out of date milk and opened stale cereal.

• Yvonne (2/5): Would not recommend this property, still awaiting refund for nights we did not stay - nothing there was a dog barking all night until 4am next door. The bedding needed to be replaced The TV did not work Generally looked tired and needs overall in general. Phoned the mobile number we were given to complain and told we needed to speak to owner the following day as nothing they could sort!

• Taylor (2/5): Very disappointing and not as advertised - Nothing Front room Sofa stained Endow has a big crack in the glass Bizarre plastic wall covering the type that’s normally in a wet room One wall light needs a new bulb Random glass cabinet and plastic shelf units Tv was hopeless and splattered with paint Kitchen Filthy cooker wouldn’t heat up Kitchen sink tap is broken Was supposed to be a supplied breakfast this consisted of microwave bean pots , 6 eggs and out of date bread loaf ! 2 tea bags no milk and they knew 6 people were staying for 2 nights Bathroom Very badly finished tile grout all over ceiling End panel missing on bath exposed pipes Door only shuts if it’s shoulder barged and is still in primer and dirty Bed next to bathroom Cluttered and door does not close Little bedroom Bizarre hanging rail directly over the bed Piece of wood hanging off the window Main bed Ok House has an unpleasant odour

• Jo (2/5): Very poor - The landlord was very helpful. The address was incorrect. The house was dirty. My 2 year old found a used false fingernail. A safety pin was sticking out of the carpet upstairs. lightbulbs missing from light fixtures. Couldnt close the bathroom door. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty. leaking tap in the kitchen. Plug socket in the kitchen was hanging off the wall. Booking said breakfast included, but nothing provided.

• Anonymous (10/5): Lovely host, very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend - Spacious, clean, fully equipped for a long stay with washer, cooker, large fridge freezer. Booking.con had the wrong address listed.
