Guest Reviews
- Katrina (6/5): - Facilities were fantastic, with hot water and flushing toilets. The only negative were the day staff who did not seem very friendly. I put this down to us getting off on the wrong foot, so was glad we were only staying here for two nights.
The guy from our previous day -Safari drive was waiting for us at check out -with the day staff- ( all men ) stating we owed him an extra 10 Dollars, but we showed him the exchange rate and offered him the correct amount of one dollar- which he refused. Thus leaving a negative feeling about our whole experience.- Which was a shame as the place is a nice place and the night staff seemed very friendly. No- one even said goodbye to us-in what felt like a very Male unfriendly environment. We were unfortunately very glad to leave here.
- Spencer (10/5): - Their dining is superb, unlike any safari oriented place I've ever stayed, which is over 30 times. Their menu is extensive, and I mean first-class. You order one hour before because it takes time to create great food in the wilds of Masai Mara.. Simply amazing. I would go back just for the food.
Their overall service is excellent and the lodging/tents are fine. Maybe a little more lighting would made the women happier (my wife).
Their safari guide/driver was the best we had during our 10 full game drive days, including Serengeti/Ngorongoro. (15-20 minutes). He showed us a mother leopard feeding her two babies. Only 2 jeeps out of over 500 at the same site were so lucky, thanks to his skill and experience and knowledge of the area and patience. High quality for the low price, words usually unhear at other camps!
- Katy (10/5): Perfect Place in Masai Mara - We really loved this location. It was our third time in Masai Mara so I can compare to Keekorok and Royal Maison. Royal Maison was nice, but this property is more level and the tents are closer to the reception and each other, yet still quite private. The electricity ran all night long, and there was cell service and data from the tents. The location is great as it is outside the gate of the reserve and very close to it. The food was amazing. So tasty and beautiful presentation. And the service was extremely passionate. They communicated throughout the day to determine what we would like to eat or any other things that we might need. Honestly I cannot think of a reason to stay at a different site when visiting the Mara
