Ci hanno consigliato delle località vicine da visitare e in cui mangiare ottimi cibi locali. The breakfasts, the view, the room, the landlord - everything has been just perfect. It's quite, cosy and very well equipped. We can only recommend this place to anyone who considers stay with a family in a place that is not swarmed with tourists. Ideal location to do some trekking (some locations you need to drive to - but the view are worth it), a lot of local producers who have fantastic food (parmigiano reggiano, aceto balsamico and others). The recommendations of the landlord as to what to visit and do in the local area - priceless. Despite not ideal weather - this has been just perfect. Nothing

Le petit déjeuner était exceptionnellement, l’emplacement super bref tout était parfait. Un petit four serait parfait pour la cuisine.

• Laurent (9/5): Zeer ontspannend en voor herhaling vatbaar! - De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk. Ze doet er alles aan om je zo goed mogelijk te helpen. Ze geeft je ook tips over activiteiten in de omgeving. Ze is steeds bereikbaar. Het ontbijt is zeer goed. Elke dag wat anders. Het appartement is heel modern en zeer ruim. De omgeving is zeer rustig. Er zijn goede restaurants in de buurt, oa Trattoria da Gianni. Het dakappartement heeft lage balken tegen het plafond, omdat je onder het dak zit. Dat kan tegenvallen voor grotere personen. Wij hadden daar minder last van, omdat we niet zo groot zijn.

• Roman (9/5): - Krásné a klidné místo s úžasným výhledem. Fantastický, velmi lidský a osobní přístup majitelky. Podkrovní apartmán je okouzlující, nicméně je zde hodně výškově limitovaných míst. Pokud nemáte 160cm, musíte se připravit na permanantní sklánění hlavy. Dveře do apartmánu ze schodiště jsou skleněné - šoupací a nejdou uzamknout, či zajistit.
• Albaroma (10/5): Excellent accommodations for a great price. - This bed and breakfast was just lovely, and the host was the sweetest. The accommodations were an excellent value for the money with large rooms, a kitchenette, and a nice bathroom. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning that worked wonderfully. The views were also beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a bit of anything you could want. I wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely highly recommended for an authentic Italian experience. Nothing. Amazing place!

• Rafal (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful time at Elisas place. Casa Valestra is situated with a gorgeous view over the valley and the back to the Valestra mountain. The apartment is tastefully renovated with high standard in an old farm house. We enjoyed the fireplace and the terrazzo especially. In the morning the breakfast was served with generosity and local flavors. Each morning we got different dishes. Elisas hospitality was extra ordinary. She was generous with gentle attention. We got suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. On her recommendation we took a guided tour at the local Parmegiano Regiano cooperative and a small vinegar factory. Really worth a visit with whole heartedly guides. Our luggage was too heavy on the flight back due to all the cheese, salami and balsamica we brought home. We liked the simple life in Valestra with the friendly locals living there. The apartment was cleaned every day and the bed was made. Like a five star hotel. Our warmest recommendations to Elisa and Casale Valestra. We will surely come back!

Beautiful views from the terrace in a very quiet, rural, location. Easy parking adjacent to house with level access to rooms. Relatively newly equipped. Sumptuous breakfasts...... Visit to the local dairy factory (organised by hostess) highly recommended Hardly a 'complaint' but the kitchen needed a few more, strategically placed, electrical outlets !

The host ist very welcoming and helpful with a lot of good tips for the surrounding. The breakfast was really great and varied every day. The accommodation is also a good starting point to visit Bologna, Modena etc. and to buy some of the Emilia Romagna's delicious foods.

But I've never experienced a Bed & Breakfast like this before in my life! The apartment is absolutely amazing, like really amazing super clean and super well prepared with all you need. Did I already mention that you'll only find absolutely quality furniture and kitchen accessories? It feels like a 5 star experience, maybe even more! The Breakfast what can we say? Fantastic! Lovely prepared every morning and served on the amazing terrace that is connected to your apartment and offers majestic rural views and enough privacy to enjoy an afternoon drink or relaxing morning coffee! Overall this place deserves to be an absolute 10, and everyone that books it and will stay here will as myself be lucky to experience an Italian hospitality experience like this! Also the area is full of beautiful places to visit from medieval towns and castles to waterfalls and outdoor areas for hiking or cycling! Grazie mille per tutto!

Elisa, the staff member, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The daily breakfast offered a great variety of options, and the terrace was perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend this charming B&B for a memorable stay in Emilia-Romagna! The road to Casale Monte Valestra can be daunting, if you are not use to small Italian roads.

She made sure we were comfortable and planned a lot of activities for us, all of which surpassed our expectations. All the amenities were top notch and the breakfast was delicious and the variety changed daily. The resident cat and dog made the place feel like home. We will definitely be back again.
