Guest Reviews
- Melisha (10/5): - Nice cosy cabin, brillant location, stunning views and nice and quiet. Very clean and has everything you need. Stunning views and peace and quiet. Well out the way of everything.
- Jarmila (10/5): What a view! - An absolutely stunning spot in the world surrounded by such a picturesque landscape. The chalet had everything we needed, well equipped and clean. There is a large closed terrace with table, chairs and umbrella, which we haven't seen in the photos so that was a bonus. There were plenty of board games for evenings, kids toys, books, clean, new equipment for cooking, enclosed field for dogs to run, comfy beds, nice blankets and linen. These are just suggestions for improvement...they did not affect our stay. Even though we didn't use it, the top bunk is quite high and not too secure so any kid that moves around in sleep could fall down. Recycling bins could have been added and windows cleaned from the outside. The glass hallway is very dated and full of bugs and flies from the bushes climbing around so this space deserves an update, but we didn't use it. Some places also need new coat, but again, we haven't seen it as a problem.
- Andrew Redfern (9/5): Tywyn May 2026 - Breathtaking views, very quiet location, comfortable chalet. No washer or any laundry facilities
- Joseph 1979 (9/5): Nice location - We really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, with an amazing view through the window and a lovely terrace. Overall, it’s definitely a 10 out of 10 for the location and atmosphere. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The property was booked for four people, but only two towels were provided. The shower water temperature was quite difficult to control, which made it uncomfortable to use.
It also felt a bit small for the number of people advertised, especially if five people were to stay there. The internet could be better as well.
Apart from these minor issues, everything else was good and we had a pleasant stay.
- Maree (9/5): Home from home - Location was peaceful, the view was amazing also the wildlife, property was warm with, comfortable bed and sofa and everything you needed for your stay Nothing
- Wollaston (9/5): - Beautiful chalet, with an outstanding view.
- Sukham (9/5): - The views and location were incredible. The fenced dog park was an added bonus, our dog had the best time. The bed was comfortable, linens and towels were fresh and clean. Very close to the beach and golf club. Definitely worth another visit. There was no network at all in this area and the WiFi password provided was wrong. We had to drive out to an area with signal to ask for the right password - quite annoying.
- Angie (10/5): - Lovely cabin with lots of privacy and stunning views 👌 Everything
- Andrew (9/5): -
- MrsHRD (9/5): Peace and quiet in a beautiful setting - A lovely little place in perhaps the best spot on the chalet park. The views were amazing, the secure field adjacent was a bonus for our dogs and it was close to where we needed to be. The bed was super comfy and there was a lovely big sofa. Given how cold and damp it was outside when we arrived, we were so happy with how easy it was to heat the chalet. It made it lovely and cosy.
- Frazer (10/5): Excellent in every way - very impressive and comfortable. -
- Sam (9/5): Very good location for visiting or volunteering on the Talyllyn Railway. - The views and location are just as described. The chalet is not overlooked and enjoys unspoilt views of the Welsh hills on two sides.
- Giang (10/5): Such a great stay for us. Thank you so much 🙏😊 - Amazing mountain view in the opposite.
Crystal clean facilities
Extremely cosy rooms. Nothing
- Danielle (10/5): Amazing 100% want to come again! - The property was so homely the facilities were just spot on! The kitchen had everything needed, the bathroom was just brilliant! Hot water & a good working shower -VERY clean too! The views were absolutely stunning! No need for a TV when you have a view like that at your door step. When first arriving we were just in amazement with how perfect this stay was from arrival to leaving, honestly will be looking for my next stay here absolutely fantastic!
- Lesley (10/5): Lovely place highly recommend 10/10 and the views are amazing - Lovely location very comfortable well equipped. Couldn’t fault it

- Dirk (9/5): Great location with fantastic views, comfortable and well equipped. - Fantastic location away from the other chalets. Superb mountain views. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and cosy bedroom. Neat modern shower room with excellent shower. Nice lounge with a view and Amazon Fire on the TV. The interior is very well updated, but the exterior is showing signs of age. The glazed wooden entrance door to the porch area had shrunk due to the dry weather and the door could be opened without unlocking. During the night, the weather was very windy and this door kept banging open and closed until I secured it by fitting the bunk bed ladder behind the door handle! Some previous occupants had turned the fridge right up to 6 and the frozen compartment was very icy, there was a bag of ice frozen to it, which I could not remove. I turned the fridge down to number 2 which is more than adequate.
- Caz (10/5): Cosy little chalet in a beautiful setting. - The location was fantastic, the rooms were cosy. Beds comfortable, son was happy with the WiFi. The shower was a little cold, and I couldn't work out the heating. There were plenty of blankets to keep us warm though 😊
- Marzena (9/5): Superb -
- Ollie (7/5): Good -
- Victoria (10/5): Relaxing and peaceful yet close to Tywyn and Aberdyfi. Amazing view. - The view and the location. The property is well decorated and the shower great. Beds very comfortable. The drive at the end is short but steep, not an issue for my partner though - I wasn't confident driving up to park. That said it was well worth it for the views.
- Nathan (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic unit no 50 thoroughly enjoyed my stay, close to all amenties and superb relaxing vacation, cant wait to return, thank you . Perfect
- Tracey (8/5): Lovely relaxing weekend - The views Nothing

My dog was so happy to see so many sheep 🐑
We had an amazing time there with my family ♥️
I love this place!
- Russell (6/5): Stunning location but disappointing accomodation. - The view from the accommodation was outstanding. The chalet occupies the best position in the park and isn't overlooked at all. The site is very quiet and the local area is beautiful. There's long sandy beaches and lots of interesting shops and cafes to explore. The chalet is very well equipped. The WiFi was good. It's great for dogs as the front is very secure. I think if I were to be completely honest, I felt a little disappointed when we arrived. The chalet is listed as luxury and we did not feel it was. We would describe it more as a cosy lodge, but felt that many things didnt constitute the word luxury, such as the original carpets (1980's?) and the smell of damp when we entered. Sadly the conservatory was not usable as there was no heating in it and the walls and windows were dripping with water. This cut our seating space down by half and we did feel a little hemmed in. The chalet was absolutely freezing when we arrived and it took a couple of hours for the place to start to warm. The bedding was freezing when we got in. I felt as though the whole chalet needed a day or so of heating before we arrived. As another reviewer mentioned, the sheets were creased as though someone else had slept in them. Four of us booked but we were only given two bath towels. There was a problem with the drinking water which meant we had to buy bottled water. We didn't know until we arrived that the water there isn't drinkable and only one tiny tap for drinking. We managed though and the hosts did respond immediately. The driveway to the lodge was very muddy and our car skidded a few times as we tried to reverse up. The TV isn't a smart one so didn't connect to the Internet. This was a shame as we only managed BBC1 in the evenings. It's pitch black at night but the outside light wasn't working. We tried it but my husband said it was making an 'arcking' sound whilst flickering. The electric meter door cupboard blew open overnight so we were lucky we didn't lose electric.
- Nathan (9/5): Cozy and warm romantic Christmas getaway - Location was fantastic, the owner setup Christmas decorations all throughout the home for no extra cost along with a hot chocolate and cake care package. The living room was very cozy, warm and festive. Would absolutely visit again. The shower did not heat up very much, it was not cold but it was not warm. A little unpleasant and the shower water smelled quite like rain water.
- Tracey (9/5): Superb -
- John (7/5): Honest appinion. But would stay again - Awesome views, which you could say is the luxury part of the title
The lodge it's self is outdated, very cold, and its drive is up a steep hill, which could be very difficult for some drivers.
Once the heating was sorted and turning on all the switches for all different things to work, hot water shower plug-in radiators, etc.. it was OK. I'm not saying I would stay there again, but I was expecting a lot more considering the title 🤔
It was ideal for what I needed it for whilst working in Tywyn 8/10 No comment
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Rana (10/5): Exceptional - fantastic
- Mandy (10/5): We wanted a short break away from the hustle & bustle and it provided exactly that. - Perfect location, away from it all feeling but still near to amenities. Nothing
- Ronald (9/5): Great place. Ideal location for exploring the area. Owner very hejpful and pleasant. Will stay again -
- Kardyś (10/5): Hope we can back again!! - A perfect place to relax with family or friends. The place is beautiful, the view from the window is wonderful. Coffee on the terrace with such a view is all you need. Silence, peace and relaxation. The chalet is well-equipped, everything has been well thought out. We have no signal of WiFi but We know in Wales is always problem 🙂
- Sam (10/5): Great base for exploring. Had everything you needed and was very comfortable - Great location and the best chalet in the park location wise, right at the end with lovely views and not surrounded by anyone else.
- David (8/5): Very poor contact because the owner would not answer her phone although the chalet was adequate I be - N/A WE couldn't find the property because the chalet was not numbered on the confirmation docs and the owner never answered the contact phone .The site owner found the chalet through a picture I had if it had been left to the chalet owner we wouldn't have had access yet after two days.
- Victoria (9/5): Superb - The view and location
Attention to detail
Comfortable Could do with a small fan to be able to use - looked but couldn't find one
