• Berit (9/5): Charmante, sehr besondere Bohemian-Künstlerwohnung im Souterrain - Was schon auf den Fotos auffällt: es gibt viel interessante Kunst an den Wänden, die Räume sind im studentischen "Bohemian-Stil" eingerichtet. Der Eingang zur Souterrain-Wohnung befindet sich unter dem Haupteingang zum Haus (siehe Foto). Das Wohnzimmer ist ein schöner Wintergarten. Das Schlafzimmer hat kein eigenes Fenster, es führt jedoch eine Glastür zum Wintergarten, die schönes Licht hereinlässt und so kann man auch lüften. Diese Glastür verfügt über Verdunkelungsrollo und Vorhang, sodass es auch nach Sonnenaufgang morgens abgedunkelt ist, wenn man das möchte. Sehr schön ist der Garten, es steht dort ein lauschiger Essplatz zur Verfügung, was im Sommer bestimmt großartig ist. In der Wohnung stehen viele kleine Topf-Pflanzen, auch Selbstanzüchtungen. In der Küche haben wir alles gefunden, was wir brauchten - sogar Eierbecher. Auch ein Korkenzieher ist da. Die Wohnung war für uns Anfang März anfänglich etwas schwierig zu heizen. Es hat aber mit Hilfe aller vom Vermieter zur Verfügung gestellten Heizquellen geklappt (Ölofen, Püster), insofern hatten wir es dann schön warm. Wir haben uns in den vier Tagen in dem Apartment immer mehr zuhause gefühlt. Die Gehzeit zu den U-Bahnen beträgt etwa 15 Minuten. Die Station "Earl's Court" fanden wir am besten, es kam uns am nächsten vor. Zudem geht man schön durch eine altehrwürdige englische Wohngegend und die Anbindung dreier U-Bahn-Linien. Der große, gut sortierte Supermarkt Tesco ist in 8 Minuten von der Wohnung aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Extrem hervorzuheben ist die Leistung der Agentin/Betreuerin Nads. Sie hat sich von A bis Z großartig gekümmert. Ihr gilt unser ganz großer Dank! Tipp an den Landlord: Die Wohnung müsste mal dringend gründlich gereinigt/geschrubbt und renoviert (Tapeten, Fugen, Heizkörper im Bad usw.) werden. Es ist ziemlich abgewohnt.

• Jo (9/5): Great start to our trip. - Location great, everything we needed in the compact space. Loved being near to all the supermarkets! Vote for Waitrose!! Walking distance (longish) to south Kensington and the amazing museums. Quick response from staff when I couldn’t figure out the tv. As Australians everything is expensive so being able to do washing and try the meals (£15 pound 3 courses for 2 from waitrose!, others like tesco have even cheaper offers ) using the kitchen was great.

Permette di raggiungere luoghi come Notting Hill e South Kensington tranquillamente a piedi se si ama passeggiare. Apprezzatissime le piccole gentilezze dell'host. Nulla.

• matthew (9/5): Excellent and perfect place to setup as a homebase for our visit to London. - The beds were very comfy. The location was excellent and clost to all buses and the railsystem. There was some sewage smells that would periodically come into the apartment.

We were led to believe we had a garden, but on arrival we were below road level in one room. Also, a lot of the reviews refer to a bath, the "Studio" didn't have a bath, the bathroom itself, was only the size of a bath and the whole time we were there absolutely reeked of stale urine. Overall a very unpleasant experience. We have been doing these reviews for over 10 years, and we have to say, this place has not been the best by a country mile. I would urge Booking. Com to check more thoroughly the honesty of some reviews.

• Carmen (9/5): It was a very nice, clean studio-apartment, we would go again. - The apartment is in a lovely neighborhood with nice restaurants and cafés. It is all very easy to reach (tube, bus, grocery stores and restaurants etc.). Our host Nads was very friendly and helpful.

Nadine and her partner were lovely and responded in a timely fashion to my questions. There was nothing to not like. Spacious inside, nice bathroom. Good kitchen area.
