• Adnana (8/5): - Hübsches, kleines Hotel, was schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Zuviel erwarten an das Zimmer sollte man nicht. Aber das Personal ist absolut herausragend! Anna und die anderen dort Arbeitenden sind alle durchweg sympathisch, haben immer super gute Laune und helfen wo sie nur können. Wirklich eine Herzens Empfehlung. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es einen Club, der ab ca 21 bis 24 Uhr jeden Tag extrem laute Musik spielt. An Schlaf ist bis Mitternacht also nicht zu denken.
• Lewis (9/5): The best staff, big room and comfy bed! Good location! - Staff were the friendliest I have ever met! So so kind! Room was large and spacious and bed was very comfortable! Breakfast included is an added bonus! Pool wasn’t the cleanest but still okay, could have done with pumps being on at times so water is moving. And plug sockets are very high up the wall so if you have short leads for phones or devices you’re screwed 😂

• Fran (10/5): The best stay in Vang Vieng - This place was amazing, especially with the kindness of Anna. She helped us with everything we needed, from trains to paramotoring. She always said hello and had a smile on her face. The pool was lovely when it got hot, and the hotel is very well located and we could walk everywhere. The room was clean and well equipped. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Nothing.

• Daniel (1/5): Shower leaked to the bedroom, owner blamed it on us - Location, comfy room with small fridge and kettle After we showered, the water leaked through the wall and made the floor next to the bed wet, which caused our clothes to be wet. After reporting it to the owner, she got mad at us and said it’s our fault and maybe we spilled water from the shower next to the bedroom floor (?). Bad experience, not recommended

• Caroline (9/5): - This guesthouse was in the perfect location. A close walk to everything in the town. It was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. What made this place really stand out to us however were the staff. Peter and Anna were the friendliest and most welcoming pair we have ever come across. They booked all of our tours and transport for us and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again purely based on their hospitality and friendliness. The WiFi was poor in the bedroom at times however this an issue we have found all across Laos not just here. And it always worked well by the pool / reception area so wasn’t too much of an issue.

• Silke (9/5): Auch für mehrere Nächte super - Die Unterkunft liegt fußläufig am Nachtmarkt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben in der Unterkunft Roller gemietet und haben auch direkt Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten bekommen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten gemütlich. WLAN ist gut. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wurde mehrmals täglich gereinigt. Frühstück war lecker und man konnte zwischen verschiedenen Gerichten wählen. Kaffee und Saft inklusive. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und die Abwicklung immer sehr einfach. Wir können es empfehlen und würden es nochmal buchen.

Une grande chambre Aucun meuble, ou vraiment trop peu (on a pris une chaise de la terrasse). Pas de café, ni de bouilloire, alors que présent sur les photos. Aucun ménage durant 3 nuits, obligés de vider nos poubelles de papier toilette nous-même. Petit déjeuner sans fruit par rapport aux photos. Bruit de la boîte de nuit jusqu'à minuit. Attention quand vous cherchez l'hôtel, ce n'est pas le même nom (vang vieng global)

• Darragh (9/5): Anna is the best host we’ve come across and more than makes up for the noise outside. - My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and were incredibly well looked after by the owner Anna and her team. She greets everybody with the warmest welcome, was so helpful recommending and booking activities for us and couldn’t do enough for us when we got ill on the last night of our stay. She knows all of her guests by name and took such great care of us, I cannot speak highly enough of her hospitality. The room was a good size and clean, with a fridge and the free breakfast was a nice touch. The rolls that come with each of the egg options was huge. The only downside to our stay was the noise from outside. This is not something the hostel can control and it is a trade off for its great location. There is a bar at the back of the property playing loud music until midnight, there is a cockerel that can be heard from early in the morning as well as some kind of piling machine we could hear from our room that begins early each morning.

• Cecaloni (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in Vang Vieng, staff is amazing - Hanna and the other guy are probably the best staff members I met in my life, super sweet and helpful with everything you may need (tours, scooter, laundry etc.). They helped us even with the train tickets, fixing a little problem we had. Just asking them and you will have a perfect stay in the beautiful VangVieng. Room are clean and the position is just in the middle of the town. Yes, there is noise till midnght because of the Sakura Bar, but with the ear plugs I didn't have problems (and I'm not a good sleeper)

• Claire (8/5): Très bien - Grande chambre, bonne literie, piscine, tous restos et bars accessibles très rapidement à pied. Anna est très gentille et chaleureuse et se charge efficacement de tous les services: transports, excursions, laundry... Sur l'annonce il y avait marqué que c'etait à 1km du centre et c'est ce que je recherchais (pour le calme). En fait Global Hostel (c'est son nom) est bien dans le centre, ce qui a ses avantages, et son inconvénient: le bruit la nuit (en tout cas pour moi qui étais au rez-de-chaussée juste au niveau de l'entrée, de la réception et du parking des scooters).

• Rosa Maria (7/5): Trato de personal inmejorable - El trato del personal, Anna es super atenta con lo que necesites, realiza muy bien su trabajo, sin duda ella y su personal lo mejor de la estancia. La ubicación es perfecta para quien le guste estar en el centri de la ciudad, pero nosotros preferimos alejarnos de tanto ruido e irnos mas a la naturaleza con preciosas vistas.

• David (9/5): - Anna, la recepcionista, es la mejor persona que nos hemos encontrado en Laos. Alegre, simpática y siempre atenta para ayudar. La habitación era amplia, así como el baño. Y todo estaba limpísimo. Puntos. Destacar la nevera en la habitación y la piscina, que no viene mal para algún chapuzón.

• Achala (3/5): The room was okay, but hard to find, noisy at night, and the bathroom and window privacy were poor. - Staff I stayed here recently and want to share my experience. The guesthouse was hard to find because it is listed under a different name on Google Maps as a hostel. The room was clean and acceptable, but the bathroom was very small and not practical. The shower was placed directly above the toilet and sink, with no space to stand comfortably. The location is close to a bar and it was noisy until around 11 pm. The room had a window with plain glass and no curtain, which felt uncomfortable even though it was positioned high. Overall, it was okay for one night, but the bathroom layout, noise level, and lack of privacy need improvement.

• vincent (8/5): - Vous serez reçu par la gestionnaire de l'hôtel qui s'appelle Ana Elle est super accueillante et elle se plie en quatre pour tout le monde donc si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit pas de problème Elle est toujours en train de demander si tout se passe bien et ton alerte pour que votre séjour soit magnifique Juste pour cet accueil on passe sur tous les petits défauts de l'hôtel Ils sont super sérieux avec la piscine il la nettoie plusieurs fois par jour attention ne vous cogner pas au fond Sinon rien à redire je recommande on est en plein centre-ville donc évidemment on entend un peu la musique partout la salle de bain

The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful in providing ideas for activities each day. Breakfast was standard eggs, meet, bread, and juice. Room was spacious. Big pool in front. The bathroom smelled quite bad several times a day, not sure if the smell was coming through the drain or what. They never came in to make the room over 3 days which was fine for me. Probably would have done if I asked. There was some noise from a bar nearby but it stopped at a reasonable hour.

Impossible de dormir la nuit a cause des bars avoisinnants. Ils m’ont fait changer de chambre (pour une plus petite sans adapter le tarif) et ce n’était pas mieux. Impossible de dormir avant 1h du matin.

• Careena (9/5): Very good overall. - We enjoyed our stay here. The receptionist, Anna, is incredibly friendly and helpful - an absolute pleasure to interact with. It’s thanks to her that she made our time in Vang Vieng so good. There were some ants in the room, but that didn’t spoil our stay!

• Welling (2/5): Nice enough very dangerous tiles outside the shower door which opens the wrong way - It has a pool and the guy on reception was friendly I slipped over on the glass like tiles outside the shower room I broke my little finger in the slats of the the vented timber door which opened outwards onto a supposed mat however the door had dropped and moved the mat, I complained and asked to be compensated this was ignored by the friendly reception guy - 4 weeks later I still have no feeling in my little finger at the tip it was a bad accident and I have obviously severed a tendon causing the numbness! I didn’t think I needed hospital treatment but in hindsight obviously I did
• Camille (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms themselves were nice, clean, comfortable and VERY spacious, but what makes the stay an 11/10 is Anna. She is attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring! I had bronchitis our whole time in Laos and she really took care of me. Forever grateful! Also the breakfast was amazing! None!

Location is good if you want to be central for restaurants etc Very loud at night from the bars and loud in the morning from the cockerel neighbour. Room wasn’t cleaned or bins taken in the 4 nights we stayed. Pool was very rundown and not inviting. Bathroom and water coming from shower started to smell bad by the end of the stay.

But more importantly a big word of thanks to Anna, the hostess. My girlfriend got - really - sick in the middle of the night. Barely able to move, Anna got out of bed and she and a staff member helped us get to hospital. Anna went with us, translated and helped wherever she could. We are still really grateful for that. She is a very genuine and kind person. Will definitely visit again if we come back to Vang Vieng.

• James (8/5): Best place for me - As other reviews have said, hotel manager Anna is the star of the show. She is truly an amazing woman. I was quite ill during my stay and she worried over me and took care of me like I was family. Unfortunately, food poisoning contracted elsewhere wiped out most of my enjoyment, but I will definitely stay here again if/when I am able to return solely because of her. She is a dynamo. Travellers to Vang Vieng have to realize it is a town in transition. There is construction going on throughout the city, and many of the hotels were built for another more infamous time in the town’s history. If you understand that you are travelling in a third world country, you will cut them a bit of slack for not having all the necessities we westerners are accustomed to.
• Ernesto (10/5): What a great welcome! - I think we had one of our best welcome in this place thanks to Anna. She was always smiling and helping us. The location was great and the roomwas comfortable and clean
• Randy (7/5): Good - Ana the main reception/host is amazing! She genuinely cares about everyone and makes sure they are looked after. My travel companion was sick and she gave him tea, kept checking in on him. An absolutely wonderful lady. The shower was very finicky to set the right temperature. No lamp beside the bed, not really a complaint.

• Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Ana makes this guesthouse!!! She is a bundle of joy and smiles!! Can’t do enough for her guests. There may be fancier rooms but Ana is the best. Plus you get a great view of the balloons at sunset from the balcony!
• Farah (10/5): Exceptional - Anna was a great receptionist, and the staff at this guest house are very friendly, the pool is a great addition.
