Guest Reviews
- Sana (9/5): - One of the best and most memorable experiences we've had and by far.
The pictures do not do the facilities justice, the place is MASSIVE - It can easily take 18+ people. It's very well maintained, the bathrooms, showers, and air-conditioning throughout the entire villa. The pool was stunning and maintained daily.
What made this place even more special is the staff. Very welcoming and generous, they're around to help you with whatever you need, whether it's cleaning, eating, tour advice or even sharing their recipes! Breakfast was made from scratch daily including bread and cake and you can never have enough of their moroccan tea!
Compared to most places I've seen around Marakkesh, you don't need to think twice - this is defo the place to be!
- João (9/5): - Breakfast and meals were very good, featuring traditional homemade Moroccan food. Our host, Abdul, was incredibly helpful during our stay. The house was very spacious, with a great pool and outdoor area. We will definitely return. Although we were aware of it beforehand, the property is quite far from the center of Marrakesh, so it’s best to plan your daily travel schedule carefully. It’s also a good idea to speak with Abdul in advance regarding transfers.
Some things need maintenance and a bit more care, but that’s quite normal for this kind of accommodation.
- Virginie (10/5): - Merveilleux séjour ! La villa est magnifique, piscine, vue sur l Atlas.
Le personnel au petit soin et les repas délicieux.
- Malgorzata (10/5): -
- diane (9/5): A beautiful big house lots of space in the rural part of Morocco with a great pool - The villa is very spacious with beautiful grounds and a lovely pool area , very large pool which was great to sit around lots of beds and space. The villa was huge and great value for money , and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it was immaculate too ! we didn’t know there would be staff who would stay at Villa all the time in the day and we were a bit uncertain if we could use kitchen to cook it seemed a bit unclear , it’s not something we were used to and we’re expecting self catering But , I think it’s very common in Morroco. They were so lovely and cooked great meals at additional cost when asked and breakfast was included , we were just a bit unclear of what we were allowed to use or who should do what and if we could make meals ourselves ? It felt a bit rude using kitchen but maybe just because I’ve not had this before.
- Stellaard (10/5): - Excellent staff! Beautiful location. It further away from Marrakech than expected.
- Maja (10/5): Rewelacja - Gospodarz fenomenalny, czysto, wspaniałe jedzenie.
- Sandy (9/5): A beautiful and tranquil stay in Marrakech - The farm was beautiful, spacious and it looks just like the pictures. The rooms were comfortable and with ample space to spread out. The breakfast is delicious and Abdo is a fantastic host. The 3 rooms that are in the outside section of the house get no hot water. Even when you let the water run for 10-15 minutes, the water is luke warm.
- Jim (10/5): Excellent, would definitely go again. Highly recommended. - Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Our host Abdul was incredibly helpful. Nothing
- Hemin (8/5): - Monorail allowed to celebrate my 50th party and allowed a guest. Ruined our plan to have big party
- Michelle (10/5): Friendly and kind. Loved every moment spent there. Leila farmhouse villa is a hidden gem. - Breakfast was refreshing. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice.
The hospitality was excellent.
- Oluwakoyejo (10/5): Amazing Villa, with great staff. I’ll recommend - Very big and spacious, nice lunch and breakfast. Nice host and staff
- Paul (9/5): Wonderful experience and would love to return - Fantastic house with great facilities. The house is extremely large and with eight good sized bedrooms, this is a perfect venue for a large family gathering. The meals (and birthday cake)at the house were exceptional and certainly on a par if not better than the local restaurants. Abdul was always on hand and was brilliant sorting everything out for us. We had massages during our stay by Fatima which was incredible. As others have said, the property is a little way outside the centre of Marrakesh so you do need to be a little bit organised. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent and all transfers and arrangements worked seamlessly. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Unfortunately the property was very cold when we arrived which was a little disappointing but with the heating on the house did warm up
- Dario (10/5): C'était fantastique, Abbu, l'hôte, était tout simplement parfait. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'a - Alles Top
All perfect
tout parfait
- Ignace (10/5): Comfortable villa with great pool, excellent staff and very tasteful food! - Very friendly host, helpful. Good breakfast but especially lunch and dinner were very tasteful, the ones you would expect in a good restaurant. Great cooks! Quiet area out of town, pool was fantastic. The location is out of town so you need a 30-40 minute ride with taxi back and forth to the Medina and all other activities. The good thing about it, it is very quiet and you won't bother other people as well if you are with a group of friends.
- johan (10/5): -
- Sulekha (5/5): Decent - Decent
We were disappointed by several significant disparities between the listing and the reality of our stay. The property was advertised as a private villa, but the kitchen was shared. The kitchen was shared with the housekeepers, their family, and the house manager. At various times the kitchen was locked while they were cooking or eating, and it would be locked over a hour we wouldnt be able even to get water. Which was very inconvenient and felt misleading
As women who wear the hijab, privacy is important to us, yet the male house manager would often pass through the kitchen area or access his desk in the hallway. Although he was polite, this arrangement made us feel uncomfortable and compromised our sense of privacy.
We have stayed in other villas in Morocco where full privacy was respected. Evidently, this was not the case here. The repeated need to request access to the kitchen especially with young children was frustrating.
Additionally, the breakfast was good. However, the housekeeping service was slow at times to clear the table. It would sometimes remain uncleared until the afternoon, even after reminders.
While the villa itself was beautiful, we would not book it again or recommend it to those seeking complete privacy. There were CCTV camera’s in the hallways and kitchen area. Which was a surprise and a breach of our privacy as it was not advertised well.
The villa was very beautiful the swimming pool was amazing, but it needs to be cleaned often due to the bugs. See above
- Arnab (10/5): Lovely villa that generated happy family memories. The meals were excellent. - We liked the property and the pool. We liked having cooks on-site. The meals were very good.
It was convenient having a concierge on-site to arrange our outings.
The garden was well maintained with fruit trees from which you could pluck the odd fruit.
We were a party of 12 and they successfully arranged a birthday party and dinner for us.
They also organised a belly dancer to come-in and entertain us. The property is located around 30 minutes from Marrakech which meant that trips required planning in advance.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - The photos of this villa do not do it justice. We booked this for my hen do of 7 girls and were shocked at how great this was!
This villa is stunning and absolutely huge. I reckon it could easily fit 16 or possibly up to 20 if people don't mind sleeping on sofas.
The villa host, Abdul was amazing and arranged drivers for me and the girls to ensure that we were kept fully safe. He would also wait up when we came back from clubbing at 4-5am to make sure we got home safely. The villa is behind big gates so you don't have to worry about feeling unsafe. We didn't need to lock up at all whilst there was Abdul and his family stay in seperate accomodation on site.
We had some guests over one night and Abdul was more than accommodating and made sure we were all okay.
The breakfast was great and so was the dinner. Lots of food and even as a group of fussy eaters, everyone loved it. I really cannot fault the villa or service.
The villa also has built in speakers that can be used outside.
Some of us weren't feeling well (I think sun stroke) and Abdul made us all mint tea to feel better. He even helped us make cocktails.
Honestly this has to be one of the top villas in Marrekesh! Nothing - everything was perfect! The only thing is to make sure you budget enough for taxi's as it is about £40 each way to and from the centre.
- Chris (10/5): 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The property was beautiful, we were a family of 16.
We were unsure on what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations! The onsite staff were superb! Abdul was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble for him! They organised a belly dancer and a DJ for my birthday and it was amazing. The owner even called and spoke to me as we departed which was a real classy touch! I would highly recommend the property! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Gemma (10/5): The villa was absolutely beautiful and Abdul and his team were always available to meet our needs. -
- Sean (9/5): Our stay at Villa Leila Farmhouse was an idyllic retreat, with superb food and impeccable service! - Our recent stay at Villa Leila Farmhouse was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the property's serene beauty and the warm hospitality of the staff.
The villa itself is a masterpiece of design and comfort. The spacious rooms, elegant furnishings, and lush gardens create a truly inviting atmosphere. The private pool was a highlight, providing a refreshing escape after a day of exploring Marrakech.
The food was simply exquisite. Each meal was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and presented with artistry. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the dining experience.
But what truly set Villa Leila Farmhouse apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Our host, Abdelilah, was always on hand to ensure our every need was met. His knowledge of the area and his warm personality made us feel right at home.
We cannot praise the Villa Leila Farmhouse enough. It is a true gem and a testament to the finest in Moroccan hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Marrakech. If we were to be really picky, the only slight downside was the villa's distance from Marrakech's center. This wasn't an issue for us, as we prioritized relaxation over sightseeing. However, if your goal is to immerse yourselves in the vibrant city center—exploring the souks, dining at restaurants, and experiencing the bustling atmosphere—you might want to factor in taxi costs or consider a location closer to the action.
- Expatgirl (9/5): Superb - We spent Christmas Eve at Leila Farmhouse and it was the perfect spot for my family to gather mid way through our two week trip to Morocco and relax with a wonderful home-cooked meal, soaking up the lovely surroundings. The staff took great care of us and the meals were wonderful. We didn't have time for the pool, but it was gorgeous!
- Hendrik (9/5): Nice first day stay in Morocco - Very friendly and helpful staf. Comfortable rooms and very nice dinner. Location not easy to find
- Karl (10/5): Absolutely perfect, in every way! - Great food, great property, and a level of service that was over and above from beginning to end. Our host Abdelilah was on hand whenever we needed and provided a level of attention to detail that was impeccable. The pictures of the place on Booking.com really don't do it justice.
- Joshua (10/5): Incredible Villa and great hosts - The property was amazing, it had on site staff who looked after us all weekend and made sure we had activities & meals arranged etc. Amazing experience and the whole group loved it. Nothing
- Esther (10/5): Best stay ever - Everything, This was easily one of the best stays I’ve had in my life and I’ve been to plenty of places. The star of the show was of course the team, from the reservation to the house manager and chefs! 11/10. I miss it so much. I cannot recommend Leila Farmhouse enough, in the 8 days we stayed there, Abdel and the team became our mini family haha! In regards to the property, the most stunning and spacious place ever! My favourite was the pool of course, they couldn’t get us out! Our luggage unfortunately got lost by Ryanair and they did all they could to help us out with it, they organised drivers back and forth when collecting the luggage a few days later… they turned my sisters birthday around with all the efforts. The food was fantastic and so fresh, always going above and beyond for us. I seriously can’t wait to go back! Nothing, there were a few issues regarding the AC but they did all they could to try and resolve this for us :)
- Kye2325 (10/5): Amazing stay in a gorgeous villa - The villa is stunning!
Everything about the villa is amazing the outside space and pool is so gorgeous and peaceful, the villa itself has everything you need, each room is spacious with comfortable beds. Everything about the villa was perfect with access to the gym 24 hours and the ability to book spa sessions all on site was really great. .
We stayed as a family of 10 with ages ranging from 9-82 and everyone had a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend and I look forward to staying there again. The staff are wonderful so helpful and kind with amazing food, We loved the salad, bbq veg tagine and couscous. As we were celebrating a birthday the staff decorated the villa and supplied a gorgeous cake, they could not have been more helpful and the ladies in the kitchen where brilliant. Thank you for a great stay The villa is secluded with no villa or shops within walking distance
- Yousra (10/5): Exceptional - My family and I had a very nice stay in this villa. Loved the interior of the villas, the pool was absolutely amazing. All rooms had their own charm, it was really nice. We were warmly welcomed by Abdeladim. We were served good breakfast and dinner by the lovely ladies who were available 24/7. There was also a man available 24/7, Abdelilah who was very helpful. I would definitely come back with my family and recommend it further. Best stay I've had this holiday.
Again, thank you very much for everything. Ingenting.
- Aimee (10/5): Wonderful Villa, Wonderful Hosts - Amazing Homemade Breakfast & Delicious Homemade Food
Wonderful hosts - always on hand for any enquiries or needs - lovely people!
Gorgeous property and pool - pure luxury
Leila Farmhouse team were absolutely lovely - really warm and welcoming and ready to do anything we needed We were a bit confused by the set up at first - we thought we had booked a self catering villa but this villa came with staff (something I am not at all used to) - who were in the villa at all times with us.
This is not a "not like" just didn't really understand the set up but think this is common practice in Morocco :)
- A. (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place, the house is even better than the photos.
The staff is really nice and is there to help with whatever you would like. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Ksenija (10/5): Better than the pictures show 🔝 - a wonderful spacious villa where attention was paid to every detail. spacious rooms with bathrooms, a huge space for hanging out, beautiful terraces, swimming pool and a garden. Delicious dinner and breakfast. The receptionist was always ready to help. we should have stayed a few days longer
- Sophie (10/5): Unique experience - We had a fantastic stay in Leila Farmhouse: the villa is beautiful, the staff working there full time (2 ladies for cooking and cleaning and 1 man for hosting) is kind and helpful. The food was especially delicious. We enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the massage (an external person comes for this), the hammam, the sport room... in one word we enjoyed everything.
