Guest Reviews
- Cathrine (2/5): This place is in a serious need of some TLC and a deep clean - It was very central The bedding on the main bed was dirty, the bed was a board covered in a mattress topper but we didn’t sleep in it because of the dirty bedding. The second bed was comfortable but really small. The kitchenette was inadequate, wouldn’t use anything without washing it first, everything looked dirty.the floor was filthy. The bathroom was ok.
- Ian (4/5): Nice host accommodation basic and could do with some improvements - Easy to gain entry to property. The host was quick to respond to messages and even brought us a little gift which was very kind. The main bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was spring with board either side of the springs which meant none of my family could tolerate the hardness. Luckily my kind sister was able to find us another mattress to put on top or we would not have been able to stay.
The flat is very small and probably my fault did not look at the photos well enough to see the kitchen which is inside a cupboard with sink attached to hob. Also with it being such a small space and 2 kids I did not feel that I could safely cook in the kitchen. But grand for making cereals etc. to use toaster and kettle had to put onto the table which would normally be fine but not safe with toddlers.
Think this accommodation is fine for short stay and without young children. Also need to be ok with an extremely hard mattress in the double room.

- Martin (7/5): Lovely location but smaller than expected - Location Bit small for 3 adults
- Laurina (10/5): Golf stop and seaside adventure - The proprietor was helpful and kind. We were close enough for my golf tournament and for the seaside. Lovely place to stay, plenty to keep us occupied Stay was far too short! We could have spent another week or more ❤
- Sabina (8/5): It was a pleasant stay, and the owner is friendly - Locations None
- Anne-marie (6/5): Sulee was particularly helpful and even yea and coffee were provided. - Location and parking. It had everything you would need for a short stay including free WiFi Nothing.
- Ellie (7/5): Good for coastal path stop-off - Cool location near the berwickshire coastal path Beds are rock hard like prison or army barracks. not comfortable for the amount you pay. Also the shower did not work.
- Ania Michal Zawadzcy (9/5): Dobra - Beautiful surroundings, friendly service and communication with the host, clean

- John (1/5): We decided not to stay and left immediately without staying the night very disappointed and not as advertised. - Nothing Unable to sleep on the beds. They were like sitting on a plank of wood. Mattresses were way too hard. Beyond firm. They were not family rooms as described. They were not comfortable as described. The kettle was the other side of the room to the kitchen. The tv only had a fire stick. No free WiFi available as described
- Roderick (9/5): everything was fine for our needs. Hostess was lovely and even gave us some savouries she had baked - Central position easy access good parking no change of towels for 3 night stay
- John (7/5): The owner was friendly and very welcoming. The property was quaint and lovely. A very pleasant stay. - We liked the location. Easy parking. Easy walking in the village. Cafe close-by was excellent. Perhaps the frosted glass in the bedroom and bathroom doors could allow for more privacy, or signs to distinguish bedroom from bathroom. Minor.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mick (6/5): Pleasant - Good value Unfortunately the bed was too hard for me.
- Jean (6/5): The apartment was fine for one night but not suitable for a longer stay - Good location Strange layout.
- Kathryn (3/5): Poor - The location The bed was very hard and uncomfortable
- Derek (10/5): Exceptional - Was perfectly suitable for our golf break Nothing
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the comfy flat, which is exactly what it is and is situated in the heart of the lovely village of Coldingham.
The flat is bijou but perfect for two people and a couple of kids. The two double bedrooms are a good size as is the shower/bathroom and the kitchen/ living/dining room is small but well organised. The whole flat is spotlessly clean. We would definitely book this flat again and have recommended it to our friends and family. Nothing at all, everything good.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent accommodation in this lovely village. The host Sulee was both very friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend and I very seldom write reviews😁
- Jayne (5/5): Basic but clean. - The location is great - in the centre of a really pretty village with some nice walks. The bed was very hard and the ground floor windows looked straight onto the pavement outside so there was little privacy unless you pulled the curtains which made the rooms dark. The kitchenette was tucked away in a cheaply made cupboard, the doors of which stuck so it was hard to access the equipment. Gaining access was made complicated with me having to ring to get a key safe code, only to find that the key was in the door already.
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (5/5): Passable - Clean apartment comfortable beds, v good shower room. Never seen a cooker attached to a kitchen sink before. Kitchen utensils rare. Only 2 dining chairs for 4 people and only 3 lounge chairs in this very very small living quarter. There was no window in the back bedroom nor a fire escape. This was ? an unsafe situation. I don't recommend it.
- Urszula (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (4/5): Weird flat, poor value. - Located in the centre of the village, near to a very nice pub. The beds were comfy. Long story short, if you want to do anything other than go to sleep, I wouldn't rent this flat. The layout of the flat is very strange, its clearly a house that has been crudely divided into apartments, and it very much shows. The ventilation is very poor, everything is quite damp, especially in the bathroom. The cooking facilities are bizarrely hidden in a wardrobe in the centre of the living room, which makes for quite a challenging cooking experience. I wouldn't mind this if the price was cheaper, but given how expensive it was, I don't think its acceptable.
- Heidi (7/5): Cute little place for a short stay - In the heart of a lovely little village close to stunning StAbbs. Finding the kitchen in a cupboard - resourceful use of space Limited resources for cooking - although we did manage a cooked breakfast. The toaster blew the fuses but I am sure she’ll get in to sorting that.
- Priya (7/5): Good -
- Kay (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl (8/5): Lovely cosy weekend. - Lovely host. Helpful and responsive.
Very small flat but nothing was missing and the set-up was great. Great little kitchenette - genius!
Clean and comfortable and the radiators in each room were very effective - needing not to be on for long at all to warm the whole room.
Well stocked shop very close by. Short walk to beach and 20 minute drive to Berwick. The only thing was the location of the ironing board - that's it!
