Guest Reviews
- Nina (7/5): -
- JuhaKi (8/5): - Location was convenient.Room was spaceous and good value for money. Staff was great and helpful. Bathroom was little bit dirty, old stains everywhere.
- hourgade (9/5): - L'accueil, l'emplacement, le temple dans la cour, la douche chaude ( mais rideau à changer)
- Gerda (8/5): - Very friendly staff! Nice view. It was very loud - even at night, so I couldn’t sleep well. The room wasn’t really clean.
- Hari HAJARUDDIN (9/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Dalucha Heritage Home in . Initially, I booked just one night, but because of how cozy and comfortable the place felt—and its excellent location—I decided to extend my stay for another night.
The property is conveniently located near , making it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot. With an affordable rate of around IDR 300,000 per night, the facilities are more than satisfactory. The room is quite spacious, the bathroom is well-maintained, and overall it’s comfortable enough for two people.
What makes this place unique is its concept. It feels more like a private residence than a typical hotel. The building has around four to five floors, and each floor only has one room. This limited number of units creates a very शांत, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere—perfect if you value privacy and a calm environment.
One thing to note is that my booking didn’t include breakfast, but that wasn’t an issue at all. The location is surrounded by plenty of local eateries and food spots, so finding something to eat is very easy.
Overall, Dalucha Heritage Home is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a cozy, quiet, and well-located stay in Patan at a great price.

- Stefan (10/5): - I loved this place so much that i had to extend the stay. I had the room with balcony towards the golden temple and it was great. The location is great as well, everything you need is within walking distance . And if you need the best cup of coffee you got your man in the lobby, he was awesome 👌
- Hinda (9/5): - The property is clean, well located.
The room is spacious with hot shower and a nice view.
The host are very welcoming and helpful. They helped us to get to India with public transport. Maybe a lack of sound isolation
- Jennifer (10/5): Relaxed, comfortable, great value for money and great location - Great staff.. thanks Sandeep! Excellent communication and seamless. Location excellent next to Golden Temple

- Noriaki (7/5): -
- Amita (8/5): Very good - Location is excellent .
The lady is very helpfull and does her best to solve problems. The staff doesn't stay there. A cafe person gives service during his working hours. Morning 10 to 7....
Then you are on your own.
- Deepika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zito (2/5): Danger. The plug of the table lamp exploded. - The plug of the bedside lamp exploded when we tried to plug it. It’s really terrifying to experience some explosion in your hand. At first I thought it was just an accident, but then found out that the other bedside lamp’s plug already exploded before we checked in, which means the hotel already knew the lamp was faulty but kept it in the room for us to use. After accident, we only received some apologies through text.
Besides this major hazard and let down. We also got locked out the main gate in the night once, and the room definitely didn’t look as nice as it was in the fancy photo.
- Rose (9/5): Superb -
- Rana (7/5): Good -
- Annette (10/5): Perfect in every way - It was our second stay at Dalucha Heritage Home. We had a fabulous time while enjoying our charming room with all the comfort we can Imagine. The Room is big and spotless clean, the beds are comfortable and the pillows and blankets are the best all over Nepal! Great Location just next to the Golden Temple and in the Heart of Patan makes it a perfect stay. Very friendly and helpful staff too!
Great deal for the price and highly recommended! Nothing
- Ioanna (10/5): Would stay again amd would recommend to others! - -The location is by far the one we liked most comparing to Thamel and Bhaktapur. It's of course more convenient for sightseeing than Bhaktapur, and less touristic and hectic than Thamel. We felt like locals strolling around, taking public buses in additional to taxis, going to local shops and eateries, chilling at the Durbar square, etc..
- The room was spotless clean, spacious, with lots of natural light, the bed was comfy and there was always hot water for shower! There was an electric kettle to prepare a tea or coffee. They also provided us with everything we needed.
- The communication with Shreeya was top. She was always willing to help us! The boy at the reception (cafe) was, also, so kind and helpful and sweet. Thank you!
- The non touristic vibe was what we needed for a 5 day stay! There could be blackout curtains. I think they are needed!
- Sanderson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benjamin (9/5): Superb -
- Piyush (5/5): Passable -
- Christian (10/5): All you need for a comfortable stay in the center of Patan! - Nice people, nice very comfortable room of high standard. From balcony one has view of Golden Temple! Wenn coming again to Pagan I will come again!
- Anindita (10/5): Think of the coziest stay in the dreamiest corner of the city - There's nothing to dislike about the stay. Shreeya was the first friend I made in Nepal and she ensured that my trip was no less than magical. Forever indebted and will be coming back soon! Nothing
- Albert (10/5): Dalucha review - I stayed at Hotel Dalucha in Patan for two nights. The accommodation is a block away from the historic Patan Durbar Square. However, have their number ready as you might need their guidance if coming by taxi. Fortunately, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The lodging itself is spacious with ensuite bathroom and a stunning view of a golden temple in an adjacent courtyard. The view alone is worth this booking and I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for friendly service near Patan Durbar Square. N/A
- Puja (8/5): Very good -
- Jyoti (7/5): Good -
- Gupta (10/5): Exceptional - The property was excellent and so was the staff.
Location was awesome as we all know Patan is famous for its old heritage and temples.
Balcony plus coffee and chai made it awesome with pigeons all around and temple bells on morning.
- Nishi (9/5): Really accessible, clean and amazingly polite staff! - It was really comfortable and peaceful.
- Amrit (5/5): Passable -
- Aayaan (9/5): Great location and hospitality, clean room - The room is very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Caretaker Bikram and the host are very kind and helpful. It gets cold at night but they provided a standing heater. The bathroom is very small but clean. They will kindly store your bags if needed. The stay is very hard to access via 4 wheeler so factor that in. Prior communication from the host about which lane to enter from would have saved me a few hundred rupees in cab fare because we could not reach the location via the Google maps route.
- Lucas (9/5): Superb -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my stay at this property, everything was perfect. Very comfortable bed, hot shower, perfect location. Very happy with my time here will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts who were very kind and very friendly. 🙏
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (10/5): My new home in Kathmandu Valley - I LOVED this place! Right next to the Golden Temple, “the most opulent little temple in Nepal”, very clean, well thought out amenities in room like instant coffee and cups, tiny humidifier, power strip. Inside windows look into courtyard containing a smaller temple. Cute little coffee shop on 1st level. HOT shower. And Shreeya, the owner, is ever helpful—-available via WhatsApp even when she’s not there. I won’t even consider staying anywhere else in Kathmandu Valley! Nothing
- Mohit (8/5): Very good -
- Asmita (7/5): Good -
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Very good hotel,good WiFi,close to patan square,very nice people,comfortable beds,
- Rashmi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rashmi (10/5): Exceptional - Staying at Dalucha is pleasant as always. Bikram Bhai in the coffee shop downstairs is very helpful with everything. Owners are always responsive and helpful. My preferred place to stay in Patan always.
- Rashmi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ozdani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maja (9/5): Superb - I really liked the room and the balcony and its view down on the temple. It's very nice location easy to walk and close to Patan Durbar Square. The receptionist and and all communication was easy and they were very helpful. I will return here. thankful
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place to stay, so clean and comfortable. Very close from Durbar square. Very nice and helpful staff. I strongly recommend this lovely guesthouse.
- Rashmi (10/5): Exceptional - Dalucha is a gem of a place ... The location is superb ...right at the heart of Patan. You can view the Golden temple from your room and there is a beautiful courtyard in the middle with a temple. Patan Durbar square, famous Banglamukhi temple is just within walking distance including cafes and eateries. Staff and owner are helpful.
- Kirti (7/5): Good - They should provide meals to the guests
- Sang (9/5): Superb - How dedicated the staff to interact with you so you could be comfortable was exceptional. If they could upgrade the room with 24/7 electricity facilities with AC would be better. I'd look forward to it in the next stay.
- Virginia (9/5): Superb -
- Stella (10/5): Exceptional - Love the room, the view, the location and the staff. Will happily stay there again when back in Kathmandu Payment - when I was there, credit card wasn't an option but they did say they are getting the machine soon
It can be a bit noisy from the temple and cars - but that's also the beauty of it
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wansiri (8/5): value of money - The room is clean and comfortable. Water pressure is great and we enjoyed the hot shower very much. The location is great, next to the Golden Temple. The Manjusri temple at the back is also nice and some happenings are there. The reception didn't open all the time but you can send a whatsapp message to the owner and the boy who lives there will come to you. No cleaning during the 3 nights stay.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Great service
- Lisa (8/5): We loved our stay at Dalucha Heritage Home - Everything - Very clean, nice room, comfortable bed, always hot water, great location in Patan, very friendly service, we could leave our luggage there while at Chitwan, nice view into the courtyard, no ac but even with 30 degrees outside we were completely fine with just the fan Nothing to complain at all - small fridge to cool drinks would be a nice addition to the room when it’s hot outside, there is a small Café at the reception but no breakfast (but lots of cafes, tea shops, small markets and restaurants in the immediate area)
- Yuhan (9/5): Being woken up by pigeons is a wonderful experience -
- Nischal (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (6/5): It was a pleasant stay. - The location was great, the staff nice and helpful. The hotel only had three rooms and was recently
Renovated. The was no ax but also no fan and the weather was quite hot but I was fine. The view from the room overlooked a temple and around early evening lots of children are playing there and it was a bit noisy but I quite like the nose as it was happy noise. It stoped around 8pm and was quiet.
The only thing was that at 4.30 in the morning devotees came to the temple and because it was the middle of the night I was woken. I was only
Staying one night and I did manage to get back to sleep.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oi (8/5): Great for those who want a peaceful and quiet sleep - The location is convenient, the view from room and balcony is beautiful. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet at night. Hot water not available in the morning
- Neil (10/5): Fantastic location & helpful hosts! - The very best place I’ve stayed in Nepal. Fantastic facilities, very helpful & attentive hosts, fantastic location & balcony views! Ideal & 5 stars! N/A
- Katya (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, cozy and beautiful space. Incredible view from the window and quiet courtyard! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Responsive, friendly staff welcoming and responsive to any request advise!
- Fuming81 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annette (10/5): Perfect Perfect - A wonderful Place to stay! Location was just perfect next to the golden Temple and nearby Durbar Square. Our room was very comfortable, spotless clean and cozy. You have a nice view just out of the windows. The owners are lovely! We would choose this place again and can recommend to stay here not highly enough. Nothing
- Dana (10/5): Best stay in Nepal - Our stay was fabulous. The owner is very friendly, helpful and warm-hearted. The room itself was cosy and clean, the shower hot and the bed comfortable.
Attached to the place you will find a small cafe which serves excellent coffee.
The location is superb. Everything can be reached within walking distance and there are plenty of food options around. Nothing to complain about.
- Xeon (10/5): Large, quiet, clean, updated place with accommodating hostess - Overall it was an excellent place and I had a great stay. The room was large, and both the bathroom and room were updated. Everything was super clean. And there were a lot of little touches I noticed such as mints and candies left out, and a page of living guidelines. The place was also very quiet, where I never saw or heard any other guests. Also, the location is great to live in Patan Durbar Square yet amongst the locals. But I believe it was the hostess who made the stay great. She was very responsive and kind. We messaged and called her for various tiny things, and she was always quick to respond and so helpful. There was a rooftop accessible from near the shared kitchen at the top floor which I discovered myself, but I wish it had been mentioned or emphasized. It had a great view, and I think it should have more seating added there and cleaned up around there so people can go there as well, besides the balconies.
- Chakraborty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arnietravel (10/5): very happy to have choosen this place - its the perfect place, very friendly owners, super clean, fantastic location, strong wifi, hot shower...i really enjoyed my stay here, cafes, shops, restaurants, temples all very close...
- Mona (9/5): Exceptional, really good value for money - Located bang in the middle of Patan, near Durbar Square, Dalucha Heritage Home, is a brand new property that has been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated by the owners. The property is clean, comfortable, and the view of the Golden Temple from the room is exceptional. The room was bigger than I expected and was well appointed, with all the basic amenities (tea, coffee, water, toiletries) provided. Everything was clean, nothing dodgy and as a single, female traveller, I felt perfectly at ease at Dalucha. The area is quiet despite being in the middle of Patan, which was very much appreciated. Prakash and his wife (apologies, her name escapes me) who run the property were very kind, and considerate, even leaving their family function to come help me out, when I had locked myself out! Really great value for money, highly recommend. Will definitely be staying there when I am back in Nepal next. Hopefully their cafe will be ready by then too. Since I had arrived in the evening, in the middle of a massive downpour, it was a little bit difficult to locate the place as there was no signage out front. However, I was told that they were in the process of getting that sorted, so no major issues there.
