• Garrie (10/5): - A couple issues with hot water and no water and a broken key but the staff were very quickly to rectify the issues. The staff are really friendly and the hotel is really nice, bit away from town but it's a nice walk into GL and not too far from Cloud 9 either.

• Jan Desiree (8/5): Overall, minor issues aside, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this place. - Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this place. The manager and staff were very accommodating and attentive to our needs, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was good and satisfying, and we enjoyed using the pool as well—it was a nice space to relax. That said, we’d like to suggest some improvements in room maintenance. On our first night, we noticed a cockroach in the room, although this did not happen again during the rest of our stay. We also recommend checking the alignment of the wooden flooring to ensure guest safety. We did experience a few inconveniences such as YouTube not playing on the TV, a temporary water supply interruption in the middle of the night, and a brownout. However, the good thing is that they have a generator, and most importantly, the staff made sure to assist and accommodate us promptly for all our concerns. Despite these issues, their willingness to help and overall service made our stay still enjoyable. Minor maintenance issues in the room such as seeing a cockroach on the first night and uneven wooden flooring that may affect safety. We also experienced a few inconveniences like temporary water interruption, YouTube not working, and a short power outage, though the property has a generator.

• Timothy_99 (8/5): Lovely staff, Nice Place - Very friendly and accommodating staff. The pool was under construction and they gave me a 15% discount to make up for it. They often offered me to share their food and have some drinks with them. Air conditioning was cold, location was great. Beds don't lie flat on the floor, as it is wooden and warped. So they kind of rock a bit when you move a lot. It's not a big deal as it didn't disturb my sleep it's just a bit odd.

• Samir (6/5): Nice not great - The property is located on a good spot in general luna, close to both the main thoroughfare and cloud 9 though you definitely need a scooter/bike to get around. The property itself is very aesthetic and has a nice pool. The rooms weren’t small but they were very tired. Buckled floorboards with many gaps which leads to quite large bugs being able to get in and out very easily. There was a bad drain smell in the bathroom that came and went. The water pressure is quite weak but that being said hot water did work whenever needed. Cleaning is only every 3 days which for the price wasn’t enough and no water was provided beyond the two bottles on the first day. There is a dispenser at reception but I thought bottles should have been provided.

• Carla (8/5): Je recommande cet établissement, nous y avons passé un agréable séjour - -le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux -la piscine très agréable -le personnel, rien à redire, très gentil et disponible -je tiens à souligner la propreté de l’établissement dans son ensemble, c’était impeccable (ça sent la lessive c’est agréable :) ) -le lit très confortable -la possibilité de louer un scooter -Nous avons été embêté une nuit avec la visite de 3 énormes cafards, mais sur une île tropicale cela est sûrement commun à cause de l’humidité (juste pas très agréable d’être réveillé en sursaut par leurs bruits de pas) -le petit déjeuner est servi de 7h à 9h30 (peut être pousser le service de 1h supplémentaire pourrais être appréciable sachant qu’il n’y a pas de déjeuner et dîner de proposer)
• Lynn (10/5): Heel fijn super centraal, wij vonden dit de leukste en fijnste straat om te verblijven - De locatie vonden wij perfect. Hadden wel een scooter gehuurd. Maar alles is opzich ook lopend of met de tuktuk te doen. De pancakes als ontbijt waren lekker. Het zwembad is heel mooi en de kamers bevatten ook allles. Het personeel is aanwezig en behulpzaam. Tot 11 uur zou je in je kamer van muziek kunnen horen van de barretjes. Ik ben een lichte slaper maar het stoorde me niet. Er is een watertap maar eventueel elke dag een nieuw flesje water zou fijn zijn

Et la location du scooter aurait été bien jusqu’à minuit du jour payé car on nous a réclamé notre scooter à 18h. On a pu négocier jusqu’à 21h mais nous avons été à pieds pour aller dîner…

El desayuno riquísimo. Todos los trabajadores nos han brindado una buena experiencia. Le falta un buen mantenimiento al alojamiento, y limpieza a fondo.

• Pardo (9/5): Si fuera más barato me quedaría encantado otra vez! - Lo mejor la cama, súper grande y muy cómoda. TV con Netflix y tal. Nevera, champú del baño muy bueno. La piscina no está nada mal. Solo había 4 hamacas. Pero nunca había nadie. Erica es la más currante y está todo el día y te ayuda en todo. Y el resto personal también muy agradable. Pague 60€ cada día y si no le dices nada no te limpian la habitación. El desayuno siempre lo mismo y sin café sprresso No daban servicio de bebidas ni comida durante el día. Yo tenía la habitación cerca de la piscina y por la noche la dejaban en funcionamiento y sonaba mucho ruido. En la habitación no tenían secador para mujeres.

• sophie (10/5): The manager Anthony and the staff were exceptional ! - My family and I stayed here over Christmas and the whole experience was phenomenal. The manager Anthony (along with the staff) went above and beyond to accommodate and offered to help organize any tours / surf lessons we wanted to book. The place was beautiful, clean and the breakfast was excellent. I wish I had more time here to take surf lessons with the instructor at Cogon resort. I highly recommend this resort and would come again! No Laundry at the resort but the staff offered to organize for our laundry to be done at a nearby place and returned to our room.

• dave (5/5): It was not what I expected when I booked this resort. - It was situated in a quiet location. The rooms are dated, breakfast is very basic to say the least. Your web site is miss leading regarding this property and is closer to a 2 * than a 4 *

• Henrique Miguel (1/5): Pior experiência nas Filipinas - De nada, foi mau demais para mencionar sequer um ponto positivo. Comecemos pelo início! Logo no primeiro dia estava um RATO na área da cozinha. Após reportarmos aos empregados, visivelmente nada foi feito, mas ainda demos um desconto. Ao segundo dia, assim que nos sentámos, olhei para o mesmo sítio onde no dia anterior estava o RATO ( atrás do fogão), la estava ele de novo. Não quis acreditar no que os meus olhos viam. Desta vez, exigimos o reembolso do pequeno almoço, pois tratava-se de um problema grave de higiene e saúde pública, e como é óbvio não quisemos comer mais nada vindo daquela cozinha. Apresentaram-nos uma proposta ridícula de reembolso de 200PHP por pessoa, o que não chega nem perto do valor do preço médio de um pequeno almoço na ilha, que ronda entre os 300PHP e os 500PHP por pessoa. Com o valor que nos apresentaram, não conseguiríamos comer em nenhum lugar na ilha, o que demonstra má fé e total desrespeito pelo cliente. Além disto o quarto não é limpo todos os dias, existe muita falta de manutenção e para terminar ainda encontrámos baratas no nosso quarto, demonstrando mais uma vez, um problema grave de higiene e saúde pública. Foi o pior serviço que experienciámos nas Filipinas, e foi dos mais caros. Não recomendo a ninguém, não escolham este alojamento.

The WiFi was intermittent, making it impossible to take work calls. The bathroom had some black mold between the shower glass and the wall. The breakfast was tasty but very limited (there was no choice). The lock on the sliding door was dodgy and a pain to lock.
• Julia (9/5): Schönes Hotel mit kleinen Minuspunkten - - sehr ruhig gelegen - bequeme Betten - schöne Anlage, alles sehr sauber - das Frühstück, was verfügbar war, war gut - Roller konnte man unkompliziert in der Unterkunft für 350 PHP mieten - WLAN war ok, aber nicht besonders schnell - der Pool sah gut aus, wir haben ihn nur leider nicht genutzt, da wir viel unterwegs waren und es auch oft geregnet hat - die Schiebe-Tür zum Zimmer war eine Katastrophe, am letzten Tag konnten wir sie nicht mal mehr richtig schließen - beim Frühstück gab es eine Karte von der man auswählen konnte. Leider waren bei uns 90% der Gerichte nicht verfügbar, das fanden wir sehr schade. Haben dann eigentlich jeden Tag das selbe gegessen. Hätten wir das gewusst, hätten wir lieber ohne Frühstück gebucht und dann in den unzähligen guten Cafés draußen gegessen. - um schnell zu dem Ort zu kommen, wo die meisten Restaurants und Bars sind ist man eigentlich auf eine Roller angewiesen - Preis-Leistungsverhältnis fanden wir ingesamt nicht ganz so gut
• Cristina (3/5): Mucho que mejorar - La ubicación es buena a solo 3 min del centro de general luna, el agua sale caliente, dan opción de alquiler de moto por 400 php. Hay muchas cosas que debe mejorar este alojamiento: el desayuno hay como 10 opciones pero solo 3 disponibles y todas con lo mismo, y solo café para beber no hay más opciones. Las habitaciones son justas, el colchón está bien pero el olor a veces es a humedad, hay poca presión en la ducha y además se oye todo. Vimos una rata en nuestra puerta y creemos que todas las noches se paseaba porque se oían ruidos, también se oye la carretera. El personal no sabe mucho inglés, la lavandería se la olvidaron y nos la entregaron un día más tarde. La piscina está bien aunque podría estar un poco más cuidada. Por el precio no lo recomendaría a menos que mejorarán esos puntos.

La ducha es insalubre, ducharse ahí es espantoso. Esto de resort tiene poco.... El desayuno no tienen casi de nada que aparece en la carta y lo qur tienen no merece la pena. La piscina esta muy muy descuidada y sucia. Alojamientos como estos te echan a pique tus vacaciones. La verdad que no merece la valoración que tiene. Calidad precio carisimo.
• Elvi (7/5): Heerlijk geslapen, lief personeel - De locatie en de opzet van het resort. Fijne bedden. Ontbijtplek kan gezelliger, we hadden een kakkerlak midden in de nacht bij ons bed, gelukkig kwam the guard m weghalen.
• Alina (7/5): - Wir wurden von einem Shuttle, den wir über das Hotel gebucht hatten am Flughafen abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht. Die Zimmer waren super schön und das Bett war sehr groß. Auch das Bad war sehr schön mit zwei Waschbecken und einer sehr große Dusche. Über den Fernseher konnten wir außerdem Netflix schauen. Der Pool wird auch täglich gereinigt. Das WLAN hat auch sehr gut funktioniert. Das Hotel an sich ist eher ruhig, ein paar Schritte entfernt liegt aber das Happiness Hotel & Goodies Cafe, bei denen man sehr gut Essen gehen kann. Dort finden auch jeden tag verschiedene Events statt, zum weiterempfehlen! Im Bad hat zum Teil das Licht nicht wirklich funktioniert und die Dusche war leider sehr verkalkt, sodass der Wasserdruck auch extrem niedrig war. Im Bad hat uns außerdem etwas gefehlt um mehr nasse Kleidung aufzuhängen, denn draußen wurden nasse Sachen aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht wirklich trocken. Das Personal konnte leider nicht wirklich gutes Englisch, sodass die Kommunikation leider teils sehr schwierig war. Frühstück war mitinbegriffen, jedoch war die Frühstückskarte nicht wirklich groß. Anfangs war die Hälfte auch nicht available, nachdem wir aber nochmal nachgefragt haben, ob es denn nicht auch etwas vegetarisches gäbe, wurde uns dann extra etwas zubereitet. Wie gewohnt sind die Hotels auf Siargao leider etwas teurer als auf anderen philippinischen Inseln.

• Airamivoj (9/5): Three days in Siargao - The place is accessible to the main shops of General Luna and walking distance. The transport is no issues because when you go out from the accommodation there's available tuktuk or tricycle and drivers are nice, the fare just need to ask the staff in your accommodation if how much because they knew everything. If land tour services no problem just hire a tuktuk if you're 2-4 persons only but if you're a big group more than 5 persons hire a mini van. The prices all day tour is affordable and the drivers knows where the tourist spots are. Then If too hot you can swim to their pool. The breakfast is included in our payment and the food not bad, they serve it between 0700-0900. The WiFi is very good so far theirs no issues. If you want to surf the place is quite near to Cloud 9. It's a beautiful place to stay and the staff are accomodating and friendly. If you want to book this place it's better you call them straight because I think much more cheaper, they will give you discount. I want to suggest that the room we accommodated are lack of drawers or shelves especially in the bathroom. Even hooks to hang our wet clothes or towels dry or wet. I know they provided us hanging rack for wet towels to dry outside the room, but mostly when we where there it was raining. The hooks or just hanging rack quite needed for our things to be tidied. Otherwise it's satisfactory.

• Chen ihao (9/5): - 住宿位置絕佳，離衝浪地點只要3分鐘。而且老闆超親切，事先與我們聯絡，機場接送，租摩托車或安排行程都非常貼心。還有早餐非常好吃，我們全家在這裡享受美好的時光。 第一晚洗澡，熱水器壞掉沒有熱水，老闆馬上安排讓我們去另一間房間洗，隔天找來師傅修好熱水器。並沒有造成太大不便，有熱水洗澡真好。

• Naomi (8/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar! - Het is een kleinschalig resort, met aandacht voor de toeristen. Niemand van buitenaf kan het resort op, zonder dat dit opgemerkt wordt. Dichtbij alles. Je kan lopen, een tuktuk nemen of een scooter huren. Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Douches zijn koud, geen warm water. Als tip zou ik willen geven een boiler, vooral Europese mensen zijn gewend aan een warme douche. Een andere tip zou zijn grotere bedden. Mijn man en ik sliepen in een bed, dit was eigenlijk te klein. Naar Europese maatstaven zou het hier gaan om een twijfelaar (daar slapen wij al minstens 20 jaar niet meer op). Hier en daar kan er het een en ander opgeknapt worden, maar hier hadden we geen last van. Iedereen deed zijn best in het onderhouden van het resort. Wij zouden hier zeker nog een keer komen!!!

Always welcoming us even if we went home super late🫣 Will surely stay again here next year🙏🏻 Hopefully, the wifi will be much faster caused it is slower when you are in the room and you need to stay outside to have good coverage but other than this, everything is awesome❤️
• Luke (10/5): Had a great stay at the Cogon Tropical resort! Great staff and clean! Plus nice pool! - The location was in a great spot, staff at the hotel were very friendly and the rooms were clean ! A bit expensive!
• Jeano (9/5): It was overall a very nice stay. The site is still improving which is a good sign. - very friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean pool, delicious breakfast, great location. The smell of the bathroom can be uncomfortable. The ventilation or the sewage system could be better. The wifi connection was weak in our room but still usable for casual video streaming and scrolling.
