• James (4/5): Nice flat, good location, terrible communication. - Pleasant enough facilities Poor communication from owners/staff. No effort to get in touch to return deposit. Ignoring messages, ‘lady who sorts the deposits hasn’t been at work 4 days’ etc etc. usual rubbish.
• Michael (9/5): great appartment at great location - Perfect location nearby the city center. Cheap uber rates to go sightseeing outside the city center. Luxury bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. There was no sofa bed in the living room but an extra mattress.
• Janet (6/5): Perfect location., beds comfy, spacious - It was easy to collect the key from the designated place but was only told the necessary information a few hours earlier.. very uncertain whether this accommodation was going to transpire Frugal kitchen .. no bottle opener, limited cutlery! Owners asked us to be careful with the window blinds! One was already off its fittings! Messaged owner who said “I don’t know why this keeps happening “ try getting. Someone with knowledge of blinds to have a look? Was warned not to disturb neighbours! Walls are thin.. I was woken by “activity “ upstairs! Felt like we were walking on eggshells… bed linen un ironed and scruffy! Had to chase up my deposit refund!

• Ulrich (10/5): Für eine Städtereise ideal, wenn man nur eine relativ günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit benötigt. - Sehr zentrale Lage. Man hört fast alles von der Straße. Aber bei gutem Schlaf lässt es sich aushalten.

• Emma (8/5): Perfect location to get to the tram, the apartment block felt safe and ideal for our stay. - Ideal for a family of four. Spacious and although minimalistic it had everything we needed. Difficulty collecting the keys, however this was a fault in the system and the owner was very helpful at working on a solution.

• Ludovico Osta (4/5): Un incubo - La posizione è molto vicina a i mezzi pubblici . La prima impressione è stata sufficiente poi sono cominciati i problemi . L'appartamento non si presentava molto pulito. C'erano stati dei lavori per riparare un danno e l'odore di vernice era ancora forte. La strada è super trafficata e sia di giorno che di notte i rumori non mancano. Le foto che sono presenti durante booking non corrispondono. Il check in avviene in un supermercato. La cosa più grave in assoluto è stata che la chiave di accesso al portone del palazzo a smesso di funzionare ,la reazione dell host è stata incredibile, ci ha risposto che di domenica non poteva fare nulla , la soluzione è stata non uscire fino al giorno dopo che avevamo il check out , così da evitare di rimanere fuori casa la notte . • Paul (8/5): Good but not as advertised - Location was not that of the original booking and further from the city centre. No Washington machine despite original booking against a statement that there was one.
• paul (10/5): Excellent 10/10 - Location was spot on Manchester City Centre, Piccadilly area. Apartment was spotless, fresh towels etc. Checkin is bang on 3pm, no need to stress over communication the service provider will text you the location to pick up the keys around 2.30pm with the apartment within walking distance. The damage deposit was returned on time with 48 hours. Would defo book ago next time visiting Manchester. Nothing to not like.
• Veronika (7/5): Tolle Stadtwohnung im Zentrum, aber schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. - Die Lage in der Innenstadt könnte nicht besser sein, außer fürs Parken, das ist teuer. Man geht raus und ist sofort im Getümmel, wobei die Mikrolage gut ist, also wenig Verkehr direkt vor dem Schlafzimmer. Die Fenster sind groß, die Wohnung geräumig. Das Wohnzimmer mit Küche riesig. Im Wohnzimmer stand noch ein bezogenes Bett, sonst zwei Schlafzimmer mit großen Betten und zwei Bäder. 2. Stock mit Lift. Relativ sauber. Küche gut ausgestattet und sehr groß. Elektroherd etwas kompliziert in der Bedienung. Dusche gut. Sogar eine Badewanne vorhanden. Die Fotos im Netz entsprechen nicht der Wohnung. Es muss sich da um eine andere Wohnung handeln. Die Kommunikation ist eine Katastrophe. Wir waren unsicher, ob es klappt mit der Wohnung und wie wir dann reinkommen. Keine Antwort über mehrere Tage trotz mehrfacher Anfrage, sogar über den Kundendienst bei Booking.com. Der kommuniziert dann per Whatsapp mit einem, was ok ist. Die Schlüssel lagern im Spar Shop in der Nähe, den man erstmal finden muss, weil es mehrere Spar Shops gibt. Der Passende ist im City Tower. 24 Stunden geöffnet. Für die Abholung der Schlüssel braucht man einen Code, den man zwei Stunden vor Anreise als PDF erhält. Bis dahin keine Antwort des Vermieters wie alles laufen wird. Das hat uns extrem gestresst. Der Kundendienst meinte, der Vermieter habe bis zum Zeitpunkt des Check-Ins Zeit, sich zu melden. Wenn dann nichts gekommen wäre, hätten wir eine andere Wohnung gestellt bekommen, ohne Stornokosten. Kommunikation sehr anonym und nicht sehr gästefreundlich. Man fühlt sich abgefertigt. Außerdem: Fenstergriffe defekt, Tür Küche defekt, Fußbodenleiste löst sich ab. Ein Stuhl geht aus dem Leim und ist nicht nutzbar. Alle Möbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bett knarzt bei jedem Umdrehen. Türen bleiben nur mit Türstopper offen. Kein kleines Nachtlicht im Schlafzimmer, nur volle Beleuchtung möglich. Lüftung innenliegendes Bad geht nicht oder nur schwach. Waschmaschinenraum ist voller Gerümpel. Das müsste man erst entfernen, falls man die Waschmaschine nutzen möchte. Lift ist nur mit Code bedienbar, allerdings sind die Ziffern am Lift kaum mehr lesbar. Laminatboden abgenutzt. Man kommt mit allem zurecht, aber erstmal ist es stressig.

• Nicholas (1/5): Untrustworthy Property owner. - Location Warning: DO NOT book this property. Property owner has stolen my deposit after confirming it will be refunded. It's been five weeks, and they still haven't returned it, even after I contacted Booking.com they're refusing to cooperate. The property was also filthy, with a horrible smell from the bathroom which made the entire property stink. If you can, Spend the extra money and find a more trustworthy host that will return your deposit. Book at your own risk-you might have to fight to get your deposit back.
• Craig R (4/5): NOT as advertised - this is not a City Centre apartment - The apartment was clean and tidy. However, the apartment was not where the description on Booking.com suggested. Firstly, the owner requires ID sending to a random Whatsapp number before the details of the property are released. You collect the keys from a snooker club near the apartment block. The property address was shown as being in the City Centre with the address to verify that hence why we booked it. Secondly, the property was actually in the Salford area, 2.3 miles away! This incurred extra costs in cabs to and from the city centre When I tried calling and texting to ask why the apartment was different to the one advertised, there was obviously no reply. I got a text 20 mins later saying ' enjoy your stay'. I will not be staying here again - you are better off in a hotel, you are more likely to stay in the building you expect to.

• Chris (5/5): Passable - Location was very central. Room layout. Due to the heat, we needed the windows open. Noise outside was almost continuous throughout the night. Blinds in the living room (sofa bed) were not effective - one had to be reattached.
• Philip (4/5): No toilet paper - Great location and spacious No toilet paper provided in the bathrooms. Not as clean as I would expect and kitchen not well stocked.
• Chandrayono (5/5): Passable - It’s near the city and Piccadilly station. Good security. Laundry machine was useful. Owner was responsive. Owner replaced a missing hair dryer as soon as he can as it was stolen by the previous tenants. Apartment was quite dirty when we arrived. Floors were dusty. Plates and pots were not washed properly. Tables and floors were full of crumbs. Utensils not washed properly. I had to vacuum the place myself as a vaccum cleaner was available. Chairs were damaged previously. Quite a few things were breaking down. No air con if it’s summer time so might get hot in summer.
• Frederik (3/5): Nice place, but had not been cleaned before our stay. - Central location. Big apartment. 2 bathrooms. The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived. There were big chunks of dirt and hair all over the floor even a used nicotine bag on the toilet floor. The bedding had not been changed either and was full of hairs and other stuff. The first night was therefore quite unpleasant. We contacted the host and they cleaned the apartment after the first night. The furniture (table and chairs) was falling apart and one of the blinds in the living room (where the sleeping sofa is) was also broken.

• Margo (1/5): Scam - The apartment did not exist this was a scam they give you the keys from a shop then there is no apartment they made out we were drunk and would not refund our money
• Polina (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, situated right in the middle of Manchester l city centre, so everywhere was within such easy walking distance. The location really was perfect. The apartment was spotless, with a modern design and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also very light and airy. Procedure for gaining access was a little unusual for us. We must contact the host with our ID and deposit first, then they give the address after. But they explained the reasons to us and everything went well and we got our deposit back after a couple days.
• Sonia (10/5): Fantastic apartment in the heart of central Manchester. Clean and spacious - The location of the apartment is fantastic - right in the city centre! The apartment was really spacious and clean. It would have been nice to have hand towels provided. Also the shower gel in the ensuite bathroom was a mens shower gel and we were a group of women - not a big deal though!

• June (8/5): Enjoyed exploring Manchester and meeting up with my student grandson. - Spacious, quiet, excellent location. No tea towel. Duvet covers were not ironed.
• Mohamed (10/5): Clean and Stylish Apartment - Spacious, clean and stylish apartment. Comfortably and tastefully equipped and furnished. Huge range of restaurants and bars within 2 minutes walk of the apartment. The host gave us some great recommendations for good cafes and restaurants. It wasn’t a problem for us but other guests should be aware that in order to get the full address you need to have prior contact with the owners and provide ID. You can’t just arrive without first having contact via WhatsApp.

• Kirsten (3/5): Needs TLC, wouldn’t stay again. - The apartment fit us all in with a communal space, rather than booking hotel rooms. Kitchen has broken cupboard door, hardly any utensils and no wine glasses. King size bed only had a double duvet. Blinds still broken in lounge (not great when using the sofa bed). Chair seats didn’t fit the chairs in the dining room so one of the children fell off the chair. Mouldy bathroom ceiling. Complete faff to get the tv connected to the WiFi Being told on the arrival day they wanted ID for all guests otherwise they won’t give you the address for the property or the key collection point. It’s very noisy all through the night from revellers and trams. All in all, we wouldn’t choose to stay there again. It is expensive for what it is. It’s very tired, unwelcoming and certainly needs some attention and care.

• Nichola (9/5): Lovely flat in a great location - The apartment is really well located in central Manchester near Piccadilly station. Was a nice spacious modern flat with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a decent sized open plan kitchen, dining & living area. It's ideal for groups wanting somewhere to stay together, much preferred it to all been split across different rooms in hotels and would absolutely stay there again. Instructions for checking in/out were clear and easy to follow, communication with hosts when making arrangements were good and damage deposit process was smooth too. The location of the key collection point could be closer, it was about 10 minutes away from Victoria station & 20 minutes from Piccadilly station. For first time travellers to Manchester it was a bit hit & miss with Google maps to find the location. Also with the key point been closer to Victoria station rather than Piccadilly, it was a bit of a trek back & forth across the city centre from Piccadilly station to collect key, then return to the apartment near Piccadilly station, and the next day return the key and get back to the train, all with luggage in tow. I'd suggest if there's a similar service point in the Piccadilly vicinity switching the key point to that.
• Phyllis (10/5): Exceptional - It was a lovely apartment. The location was great, the kitchen was fully equipped and everything was nice and clean. Host was very helpful and gave us some really good restaurant recommendations.
• Judith (10/5): Brilliant Stay - The apartment fully met my expectations: Clean, comfortable, and just exactly as described. Everything worked, though we weren’t immediately sure how to work the heating so messaged the hosts and got an immediately reply with easy instructions. Kitchen had really nice pans and crockery. It’s absolutely bang in the city centre , a short walk to trains, buses and trams. A very good option for a short or long stay.
• Georgina (7/5): Great location in Manchester center basic accommodation but good price - Great location very secure close to train station shops and restaurants in Picadilly - very spacious apartment with 2 good size bedrooms and a good size living room. Address and location for key pickup given last minute. The blinds on living room windows were broken , no basic equipment provided like kettle, toaster, cleaning equipment, dustpan snd brush or tea cloths. No access to TV channels although Netflix was available and broadband was strong. Good heating as we were there in December.
• Charlie (7/5): Good - Property was in a good location & clean no issues. The occupier asked for copies of all occupants passports or driving licenses on the day of. This would be useful to know prior as some didn’t have with them, the property is also said to be 24 hour with check in any time however this is incorrect could do with being updated by booking.
• Dawn (5/5): Location OK Correct address needs to be given on arrival. Very noisy Tram straight outside. - Correct address given on arrival and regarding key pick up, was not great, having to stand in the middle of Manchester to send i.d. before the key collection and address details given not ideal. TV didn't work, minimal crockery available no wine glasses etc. Two blinds missing in the living room where one of the group had to sleep. Very noisy due to the tram outside all day/night.

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - I had a wonderful stay here. The hosts were very prompt with their communication and gave me clear check in instructions. The location is amazing, right in the heart of the city. It’s walking distance to all the main city attractions, so many awesome restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s also really close to Chinatown. The building felt very safe, clean and secure. The apartment was big, modern and really clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook everything we wanted. We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend it.

• Leanne (3/5): Don't stay here, absolutely anywhere else is better even if you have to pay more - The size of the apartment, the photos didn't do it justice and the location was good. The price compared to other accomodation was good but looking back I would have rather paid more to stay anywhere else. The address on the listing is incorrect and they only give you the real address once you send them copies of everyones ID who is staying and a £100 security deposit which would be fine but I asked what they needed days before the stay and there was no communication received. I was stood in the middle of Manchester with heavy luggage trying to find the fake address they provided and they wouldn't give the real address until I sent this. They would only message me over WhatsApp they wouldn't pick up when I called which came across as really untrustworthy and I thought it was a scam so didn't want to send any money. The apartment wasn't cleaned well, there was dust everywhere and black hairs on the bedding. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The apartment is advertised for 6 people but there were only two double beds and one single sofa bed. My friend had to sleep on a sofa with a sheet as there was no extra duvets and when I messaged about this I was completely ignored. The trams are also quite loud as they run outside all through the night. We were given instructions to not speak to anyone in the building and when we were in the lift a resident was questioning if we booked the apartment on airbnb and made us feel uncomfortable, making us believe this is a residential only building.
• Sally (9/5): Great location and price - book it! - Central location and lovely flat to stay in with a great price. I would definitely stay again. The check in time is shown as 00:00 - 00:00 on booking. We checked in at 3pm. If there is set check in time/ earlier check in times are not possible, booking.com should reflect / confirm this. Also, I would have preferred to provide the ID’s of who was staying at the apartment with me before the arrival day to make the check in process smoother. On balance, I would still recommend staying at this apartment.
