- Shona (1/5): If paid to stay there again - I would never ever ever return - Embarrassing for the owners father to have to come to my aid but glad he did. Thankfully he contacted his daughter who was renting out the property. Arrangements were made (eventually) for me to stay elsewhere but by then, so late in the evening I was placed in a last room at a hotel - a room that was infested by moths. Yes, they had had pest control in but the moths were very much still alive. So an asthma attack was triggered at the pod by cigarette smoke and no sleep was had at the second place because of the moths crawling over the bed, up the walls, over myself etc. Like something out of a horror film but unfortunately it was true I did not like that I booked to stay in a lodge, that I discussed this with the owner in advance of my stay - but on arrival I found I was in a cramped pod placed between two others. The temperature inside was 35C when I arrived and opening the doors it quickly filled with smoke from the people smoking cigarettes next door. Cooler air getting in was also restricted because of the bizarre "communal fire pit building" placed between the pod and the "lake view". The placed stuffed with cushions and pillows it was difficult to sit anywhere comfortable and because it was NOT what I booked I left. Exhausted, it was a horrible experience

- Ahmed (10/5): Wonderful lodge in fort Willam - - a wonderful lodge hidden in a beautiful area not so far from the Main Street but secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet - everything is modern and almost everything was working perfectly - cleanliness is top notch - the bathroom was perfect - nice porch as well - everything is new and of the best quality - the tv was great - unfortunately the cooking hobs weren’t working

- Franziska (10/5): Aussegerwöhnlich und auf jedenfall ein Abenteer wert! - Es war sehr sehr gemütlich und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr klein, aber wirklich hübsch, eigent sich daher am besten für ein Päärchen. Wir zeri Frauen hatten aber auch eine tolle Zeit! Bei den zwei der drei Lodges sieht man direkt auch ein Häuschen, welches fast unmittelbar vorne dran ist. Dies dient wohl als Lagerraum. Dieser ist sehr ungünstig, da es die Aussicht auf den See deutlich einschrenkt!

The interior was painted a very dark colour which made it feel very gloomy, some areas of the bathroom felt unfinished, the sofas and table seemed too big for the space.

- Anna (10/5): A little slice of calm, stylish, spacious and impossible not to love ✨ - What a special place. We had the loveliest stay and honestly could have stayed much longer. The cabin is beautifully done, peaceful, spacious and incredibly well equipped, everything felt thoughtful and effortless. The setting is just magical and so relaxing, with gorgeous views and such a sense of calm. It had that perfect balance of feeling luxurious while still cosy and welcoming. We left feeling completely recharged and already talking about coming back. Could not recommend it more ✨ Nothing!

- Pam (9/5): A sweet tiny house in a country setting that had everything we needed. - I loved this place! I wasn't expecting a tiny house (pod), but it had everything we needed. It was out in the country, located on a pond, and near a farm that we were able to walk through and pet the horses! We ate at a nearby restaurant that had very good food. Again, we weren't expecting a tiny house, but we loved it! I wish we had stayed more than 1 night.

The lodge was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had all the necessities for our stay. Rooms were clean and relaxing, to the point we didn’t actually want to get up the next morning!
- Megyn (4/5): - Tried to cancel our stay here after reading other bad reviews, but it was too late so we decided to stay. We were really disappointed overall with the stay. The rooms/pods are small which we expected, but they were MUCH smaller than the pictures made them seem. We also only had 1 towel each for our whole stay, no wash cloth, hand towels, etc. We wouldn’t stay here again, and would instead recommend a stay anywhere else near Fort William. This was our least favorite stay during our 2 week vacation.

Just a bit small and nowhere to put the bags so wouldn’t stop here for more than one night.

Hot water took a while. Bring food and drink, nothing there (since it's in nature) Bed a little too soft but that's personal preference.

- George (10/5): - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lodge near Fort William and would recommend it without hesitation. The setting was truly magical, with breathtaking views that made us feel relaxed the moment we arrived. Access was easy and convenient, which made the whole experience even smoother. Although the lodge was small, it felt incredibly warm, cosy, and thoughtfully arranged. It was beautifully decorated, with a lovely aesthetic both inside and out, and it offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including all the essentials for storing food and cooking. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we slept very well. What impressed us most was how much the place exceeded our expectations. The décor, the comfort of the furniture, and above all the stunning view created a peaceful and memorable atmosphere that truly helped us unwind. We would happily stay here again. We would also like to make a special mention of the host. Due to travel disruption, we missed our final flight to Scotland and ended up arriving very late at night. We informed the host, who was incredibly supportive and welcoming throughout. That kindness meant a great deal to us and immediately put us at ease after a very stressful day. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

The panoramic views of the water right from our window were breathtaking, and the interior was incredibly cozy and well-designed. And the pods are very insulated phonically so you barely hear what's happening outside. Honestly, I'd just come here to escape life, sit outside, fish in the lake, and take naps.

- Hannah (9/5): Such a lovely pod, would recommend for one or two nights! This place has so much to offer!! - The room was so cosy, facilities great for a night away! I loved how dark, warm and comfortable the pod made us feel. There was more than enough to offer for activities, opportunities and experiences! The appliances need some improvement including the TV remote and the water pressure for dish washing. Other than that everything was perfection!

The management was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The bed isn’t the most comfortable with the mattress rather spongy and you have to crawl out and in this waking your partner.
