No outside light as it was on the courtyard side of the building. Insufficient mirrors especially no magnifying mirror. Toilet was open to showers and therefore not private. Very limited choice on free tv. In general no pleasant outside space to relax in other than rooftop terrace where loud music was played.

- pjb (10/5): Excellent stay - The location of this hotel is fantastic. A stones throw from all the major landmarks in Valletta. The staff go above and beyond to make your experience special and are a real asset. Additionally the breakfast is exceptional. The rooms are a little strange in terms of layout with very small desk areas and the lighting isn't the best. Additionally the street noise was quite loud at night but we moved rooms and this was resolved.
- Maria (10/5): Super pobyt wśród bardzo miłej obsługi, w bardzo ładnych wnętrzach starej kamienicy. - Obsługa w hotelu jest znakomita, miła, pomocna, otacza gości opieką i sympatyczną grzeczną pomocą. Zarówno w recepcji jak i hotelowej restauracji, gdzie jedliśmy śniadania. Czuliśmy się tam bardzo dobrze! Lokalizacja hotelu jest rewelacyjna, w samym centrum gwarnej stolicy. Jednak dzięki grubości murów, okiennicom i prawdopodobnie właściwej izolacji akustycznej w pokoju jest cichutko, a wysokość pomieszczenia zapewnia dużo powietrza we wnętrzu, Z punktu widzenia turystów z innej części Europy oraz jakości i ceny hotelu brakowało nam na śniadaniu większego wyboru pieczywa oraz surowych warzyw. Śniadanie składało się z tzw. zestawu kontynentalnego, który był zawsze taki sam lub prawie taki sam oraz z wybranego z karty zestawu. Przy tygodniowym pobycie w hotelu było to trochę monotonne, a podawanych codziennie tostów pszennych nie można było na nic wymienić. Śniadania bardziej odpowiadały zwyczajom anglosaskim, co w końcu jest zrozumiałe w tym miejscu! Byliśmy w hotelu w czasie świąt Wielkanocnych, ale hotel nie zareagował wcale na ten fakt. W innych miejscach, w których spędzaliśmy święta, np. w Rzymie, czy Madrycie było inaczej. Tam na gości czkały w pokojach drobne słodkie świąteczne niespodzianki, co było bardzo miłe. Tu było jak na co dzień! Bardzo w porządku i elegancko, ale bez tego świątecznego akcentu. W ogólnej ocenie pobytu w hotelu jest to jednak zupełna drobnostka i z pełną odpowiedzialnością mogę polecić pobyt w hotelu Rosselli wszystkim, którzy chcą mieć gwarancję eleganckiego, bezpiecznego i miłego noclegu w Valletcie.

Connected TV did not work , no access to electricity for devices in the bath room , cleanness below expectations , and roof top was closed .

O facto de ser um 5 estrelas não devia poder oferecer quartos desta qualidade. A casa de banho não tinha porta e era impossível tomar banho sem inundar o chão. O lavatório era pequeno, sem zona de apoio para usar as nossas coisas. A classificação do quarto como de luxo no site, é enganadora.

The breakfasts were excellent, the design truly unique, our room had even sauna and everything was perfectly clean. We even received several lovely surprises, like chocolates and a bottle of wine, which made the birthday celebration for our son really special. We will definitely be coming back!

Location perfect on road with vast choice of restaurants, bars & cafes. Walking distance of attractions. Delightful staff who sat us in lobby complete with fountain & chandelier & brought iced water while room was prepared. Room was good size with great bathroom & walk in shower. Wardrobe light (I have poor vision) & iron & ironing board. Breakfast selection was vast. Freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit platter & omelette made to order for husband. He tried the full English one morning & said it was perfect. I am a yoghurt & mineral water breakfast person but the coffee was excellent. Ate out each night & returned to find bed turned down, water & glass & plate of homemade truffles on bedside table! Cannot fault this hotel. Every single member of staff was charming. Nothing was too.much trouble. To treat yourself book AX Rosselli Privilege. Nothing!

- Everaarts (9/5): Great place to stay! - Let’s first start with the staff ….. wow! 100% spot on, accurate and super friendly🙏🏻 Tom, the congierge (we think) was the star of our stay. So so sooo helpful and friendly. And also all other staff was always there to help. With a beautiful dinner in the Under Grain Restaurant (in the house), drinks on the roof top and street terras, high service room service ans housekeeping, we can say that we had the full experience of the hotel. We can totally recommend. Only minus was the sofa in the room that was full of stains. We asked to cover it with a plaid, and it was out of sight, which was a good solution. Although we would suggest to change the sofa, a more practical one where stains are not so obvious and/or are more easy to clean.

A solid 10/10 in terms of service. The only issue that should be addressed is the noise from a nearby bar, which plays very loud music. Unfortunately, the hotel's windows are not soundproof, so we experienced significant noise disturbances throughout our three-night stay, even on Sunday night when we needed to rest before our early morning flight. The music and conversations from the bar were clearly audible in our room.

- Dr (6/5): A mixed experience. - Great Food. Friendly staff. Very good facilities A sizable room. Much too noisy. Whilst the team obviously could not do anything about the dreadfully loud music and related noise outside the hotel almost every evening, they could and should update the windows of the rooms with double/ triple glazing (or whatever would work) to reduce the noise as much as possible. There is no excuse for this given their status and pricing within Valletta. Unfortunately we would not return to this hotel for this reason.

All the Staff from the Reception team to the Restaurant team and also the Room Maintenance team were excellent. All were friendly, enthusiastic and extremely helpful - they could not be faulted. The hotel is very centrally located so nothing is too far away. The lighting in the rooms as a little too subdued and could have been better.

- David (8/5): Great Stay , some reservations. - authentic location & design. Overall the staff were very polite especially i think Manish ? Who ran the rooftop bar and pool. Rooms a little small as I travelled with my adult daughter so had twin beds. This made for a small gap between bed and wall when passing for the bathroom but did not detract from the experience. There was a cockroach in the shower which staff removed. No shaving points in the bathroom is unusual in this type of hotel. I felt it strange that on arrival the receptionist tried to book us into AX StJohn rather than AX Rosselli. Maybe they needed to fill that as it was down the road. It was also strange to be asked for full payment at check in rather than check out as we had booked via booking.com who had our card authorisation anyway. It wasn’t explained.

- Gary (10/5): 5 star hotel with 5 star staff to match - Its location in the heart of old Valletta, the fact it had a pool to cool down in, the roof top bar, the staff, the breakfast, level of service. All made for a wonderful stay. Nothing I can think of apart from the shower which was a bit temperamental, and not very powerful but am guessing it is due to being in very old part of town maybe and age of sewers etc

Jennifer was so helpful in organising a day trip for me. The infused water in reception was a nice touch as well as the soap menu. I was also upgraded on checkin. Only a small window in the room that was at ground level.

There are a number of nearby bars with happy hours,, but the rooms never felt noisy and it was great having nightlife on our doorstep. The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace with a small but pleasant swimming pool. There are a couple of food options on site, and the quality was excellent, even if slightly dearer than other nearby options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I would gladly book here again. No complaints at all, but the quality does come at a price.

- Pkn (9/5): There is no question that I would stay at this hotel again, but I would be selective about the room - Service was impeccable, staff always had a positive attitude and response Each room I learned is an individual design my first day I had a large room,, but the mirrors were in an odd location. My second stay five days later was only for one night. I was in a small room, no convenient place to put on make up, and the outside noises coming from side seating areas of restaurants on a Monday was quite alarming. I did call down and asked was there anything they could do? not much, but the gentleman on duty did make a call. Attempt. There must’ve been several other complaints from other hotels and this hotel because about half an hour later the musicthe music did stop.
