Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): a great fun night in a lovely spot-the locals were extremely friendly. - Had a fantastic one night stay while in Aberfeldy to celebrate new year. brilliant location-quiet but very central. nothing, it was perfect for our needs
- Brown (4/5): Cold and disappointing - The location was good. The outside light which is supposed to activate with motion did not activate. The slabs leading to the door were slippery from moss and dead leaves. I fell because of that and couldn't get up. I had to phone my son-in-law to come and help.
- Nina (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Would definitely stay again - It was really cozy and even had a microwave and cutlery.
Shower was great and even a nice box of shortbread.
Bedding was amazing as my friend is going to buy the pillows as they were so comfy! Nothing it was great
- G and A (9/5): Cute homely spot on our tour of Scotland - We felt very at home here. There were lots of thoughtful additions like toiletries, tea and coffee, books, plants, wall art, a large TV and it was nicely decorated throughout. We slept incredibly well here. We stayed her during storm Amy and it was a little drafty in the night but the heater did help a lot.
- Kevin (10/5): Best stay of our week - Room was lovely and warm on arrival and low lighting made it so welcoming after a long day. Room was comfortable had everything we needed . Everything was great
- JAMIE (10/5): -
- derek (9/5): my stay was all i wanted very happy thank you - walking distance from town everything i needed was in the room my privacy was respected could not have wanted more thank you. no plug for the sink.
- Connolly (10/5): -
- Sue (8/5): Excellent for short stay. - Cute, beautiful setting. Netflix etc included for free! Room was a bit small. Parking ok but on a quiet nearby street.
- Radovan (4/5): -
- Joan (6/5): Should be made clear that this room is only suitable for 1 person with minimal luggage - Location was good but room was extremely small and not nearly big enough for 2 people The room is overall very small and not suitable to rent out to tourists. The bed is barely a double size as anything bigger would not fit in the room!
- GravelHillbilly (7/5): Fine for a one night stay. - Bright and clean room nicely decorated. OK for a one night stay. Easy walking distance to town centre, restaurants etc. Good Wi-Fi. Small room so a foldable luggage stand would have been useful. Parking nearby could be an issue if important as only one space in the road available when we arrived late afternoon and no more space when we left the next morning.
- Sweeney (10/5): Fab small room & en-suite, clean as a whistle, tastefully decorated - Location was perfect, just 5 mins walk to the main square.
The room was spotless & very comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a 2 night stay to attend a wedding. Tea, coffee, milk & biccies were provided. The french doors lead to your private outdoor space which had a small table & 2 chairs, perfect for having breakfast outside.
- Benjamin (10/5): - Cute and well lit room with a lot of charme. The bed was very comfortable.
- SHIHLUN (10/5): - 有落地玻璃門感覺採光很讚 空間小巧但是很溫馨的感覺
整體設備非常乾淨整潔 很舒適 雖然沒有早餐 不過這個價位便宜 可以接受
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Lovely decor, nice touches with coffee/drinks and crockery, good bathroom facilities Size of the room not made clear - felt a little cramped once we had our gear off the bikes and if we were to be staying more than one night.
- Susan (9/5): Perfect for a one night stop over - Outdoor seating area, good shower, comfortable bed Compact, access to kitchen facilities (plug in induction hob, microwave) would be useful to make coffee/breakfast in the morning. Utensils & crockery provided.
- Sally (8/5): Very good - - Convenient for our trip on National Cycle Route 7
- Host communicative and helpful
- Electric heater provided for the main room which really helped as the weather was cool (13oC)
- Two supermarkets, a bakery, various good cafes and some nice shops in the town - Needed a bit more heating in the bathroom. Radiator was only on for a short time
- Maggie (10/5): Gorgeous stay. - Very comfortable room. Quiet and peaceful.
Nice shower and shower gel. Comfy bed and nice bed linen and local roasted coffee.
3 of my favourite things. 😀
Comfy chair for watxhing tv or reading.
Short walk from town and easy parking across the street. Nothing.
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Really lovely little room in Aberfeldy. Just stayed a night and had a nice, quiet evening -
- Lorna (5/5): Could have been better - Lovely little room in a pretty town. The area is beautiful. The shower is great. Good TV. There was a secure area outside for my dog. It would have been so much easier if things were within reach of the bed. The light switches are both on the other side of the room, making it difficult if like me you have balance problems in the dark. The plugs for electrical appliances such as phones are in the far corner, so you can charge or have your phone on the chair by the bed, not both. Nowhere for a glass of water etc.
The house is very difficult to find, despite lengthy instructions from the host (who I didn't meet). Google maps don't recognise the house name, only the street, and "What3Words" takes you to a house across the road. Not great if you are tired after a long drive. There is a photo of the house on the booking page if you have the patience to look for it. Luckily I was able to ask a local.
- Philip (6/5): Pleasant - Nothing could be done, the room was too small
- Paul (10/5): excellent room and location - the location was very good near enough to town but slightly away from noise and bustle, lovely comfy room and facilities bed was slightly small but needed to be so to fit in the room
- Morag (9/5): Superb -
- Catriona (10/5): Warm and welcome room with all you need for a comfortable short stay. - Warm. Well decorated. Good location. Very friendly communication in advance. Nothing.
- Lau (10/5): Exceptional -
- Collette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (10/5): Exceptional - Very easy to deal with and go out of there way to accommodate what u need
