Guest Reviews
- Marina (3/5): Poor - Almost nothing except terrace Everything was terrible, except for the location itself. And even then — if it’s your first time in Bali, I wouldn’t recommend it. At night, you’ll be greeted by stray dogs in the dark, which is a deeply unpleasant experience.
The house is absolutely not made for living. Honestly, I believe the owner of this rental should be forced to live here for at least a week — just to feel how uncomfortable it really is.
I could list the flaws forever, but here are just a few:
• The only trash bin is in the kitchen. And to get to the kitchen, you have to constantly go up and down the stairs.
• The only usable mirror is in the bathroom. There’s another one in the bedroom, but if you want to see your face in it, you’ll have to kneel down.
• There aren’t even basic shelves for clothes — just a wooden stick with a couple of hangers.
• The bed was made with damp-smelling sheets, and they were stained. Yes, they did bring me clean ones when I asked, but it was still unpleasant.
• In the bathroom, the tap only has one water temperature. And when it comes to the shower, you have no more than 10 minutes before the water cuts off. Otherwise — good luck rinsing off your shampoo.
• There are no hooks or shelves in the bathroom — only one stool.
• The villa is full of cracks and gaps. I experienced several terrifying night storms, and the whole place was shaking. It felt like I was literally outside. No insulation, no soundproofing — just like being in a tent.
• One day a cleaner showed up, and I watched her take the broom from under the kitchen sink and start sweeping the bed with it. I was absolutely horrified and immediately asked her to stop.
• On the day I was checking out, I stepped onto the veranda — and a cleaner unlocked the villa and walked right in, without knocking. Thankfully, I wasn’t naked. I stood there stunned, and she awkwardly apologized, saying she was just grabbing a vacuum cleaner for another villa.
Honestly, the discomfort is endless.
