Margot (4/5): Disappointing - This Cabana was $40 per night, so we knew it would not be extravagant. However, there were many aspects of it that were below standard…. Dangerous steep steps with no railing to the upstairs bedrooms, a small verandah with no railing (completely unsuitable for kids), a really marginally-equipped kitchen, and most importantly, the “private swimming pool” had old, algae-green, stagnant water. It clearly had not been cleaned for months and in the local area there were many billboard warnings about Dengue fever. The Cabana was in a nice setting of mature trees with many chirpy birds, however, it was on a noisy, busy street. The hostess was very pleasant, and we do not like to criticize, but this place is definitely lacking.
