Pui Shan Honey (2/5): A misleading listing and a frustrating experience from start to finish. - Honestly, nothing stood out because the whole experience was overshadowed by the issues I faced from the moment I arrived. The listing didn’t match reality at all. The address on Booking.com was not the actual check-in location. The check-in time was suddenly changed after I questioned it, and I didn’t get into the apartment until 6:17pm. The photos on the listing were completely different from the unit I was given. The host even blamed me for requesting “early check-in” when I only asked for the 3pm time stated in my booking confirmation. On top of that, housekeeping wasn’t finished and I had to leave my luggage outside. The entire process was stressful, confusing, and nothing like what was advertised.

Keng (5/5): Location was great. Need to pay security deposit before instruction given. - Location was great. Before getting instructions, we had to pay a GBP500 as a deposit, which would only be returned two weeks after we departed. It has been more than two weeks and we have not seen our refund(even after sending a reminder). Furthermore, no instructions were given until we arrived and paid the deposit. I had to make overseas phone call to the host to get instructions and they were difficult to get a hold of. We were informed on the bookings.com that we were getting a different apartment. When we dragged all our luggages there, and finally contacted the host; we were told we had been allocated to another property which was another few hundred meters apart. The staircase is very narrow, so if you have luggage to carry; it can be tricky. We were fortunate to be on the 1st floor.
