Guest Reviews
- Frank (8/5): - Great location, spotless clean, more of a homestay experience than a hotel Wifi was patchy and didn’t work in all areas of the apprtment
- Mensah (6/5): Was a good stay nevertheless. Had bools to read and the sitting room design was great - The sitting room design. The bathroom needs a curtain for privacy
- Alessandro (8/5): Very good - Good location, great host Layo who speaks English and is kind and approachable, simple but clean room and bathroom More like tips for the future than necessarily turn-downs: 1) the bedroom could have A/C instead of a fan, 2) since Layo normally works during the day, the check-in process can require you to wait for him to get you the keys, so a more convenient method should be devised
- Wolfgang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bongiwe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fredrikjoh (10/5): Excellent place in Ouidah - Excellent hotel/home stay in Ouidah. Great location and a very friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommended. Nothing to complain of.
- Kevin (8/5): Excellent choice if one wishes to be with community and experience a roots/ hands on séjour! - The studio was located in a bustling neighborhood which was fine for me. My host Layo directed my taxi moto right to the compound entrance and was waiting to receive me. Check in was prompt without ado. I was amazed at how large and luminous the studio was. Well equipped, with a dining area and fridge, only missing a TV, which was not an issue….not on holidays to watch Tv. Not even necessary with the internet.
Layo proposed a local guide which was quite reasonable and made it possible to visit all the local sites within 8 hours with a detailed explanation. No breakfast but perhaps NOT a negative point as there is a small place some 200m away doing omelettes and cafe (served with a large wallop of sweet condensed milk) at a price less than 3 euros
