Guest Reviews
- MARIA FLOR (10/5): -
- Joanne (5/5): Loved Rome but not the accommodation. - Location It is quite dated I’m afraid not worth the money.
- Andrew (10/5): Amazing experience. - Everything was wonderful. The staff were print and extremely helpful. The location was super beautiful and we had a great time.
- Jakov Gjorgovski (9/5): - Good location, good apartment, good kitchen good toilet A bit of dust in the beds and around. I would definitely recommend getting rid of the old smelly wardrobe from the 60s in the living room.
- Nilde (7/5): -
- LinoLia83 (7/5): Contesto di corte tranquillo - Ottima posizione a 10/15 min a piedi dai locali di Trastevere. Arredamento ancora un po' datato. Ci si può lavorare per migliorare
- Susan (3/5): A bit expensive for what it was - A bit tired looking
- Bethsaida (10/5): Great! - Everything was fantastic! The location was perfect, and the space was spacious and clean, even though the shower was a bit small and there wasn’t a washer. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and staying here felt so cozy!
- Gavin (6/5): A stay that served its purpose - The location was fine for our purpose of being close to the hospital by the Vatican. It’s in need of major modernisation.
- Olivija (10/5): -
- Uwe (8/5): Gutes Preis-Leisstungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder.

- Sean (8/5): Was great will go back again - LOCATION AND HOST CLIMBING THE STEPS
- bruno (8/5): -
- Marco (9/5): -
- María (8/5): - Está muy bien situado
Las camas son muy cómodas
Y la cocina está muy bien equipada
- Ahmed (10/5): A spotless, well-equipped apartment in the heart of Trastevere with excellent host communication—highly recommended! - Absolutely perfect stay at Evelina in Trastevere! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the charming Trastevere neighborhood, full of great restaurants and beautiful streets to explore. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. We truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome!
- Raffaele (10/5): - Organizzazioni e struttura
- Carmen (10/5): - Very close to everything. Every room has air conditioner.
- Islas (9/5): Superb -
- Galateanu (9/5): Superb -
- Ziebell (8/5): Very good -
- Samet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sm (6/5): Pleasant - Big property No washing machine
Rough exterior look
- Bogdan (5/5): Flat is dark because of small windows and close near by walls. Bathroom's shower is plugged - The only very positive aspect that the location is near city center. Flat was resonably quiet We had several troubles. First it was very difficult to find Evelina flat. Except Street and number there is not any single sign where the flat is. This location is where dozens of other living private flats are. And not any asked inhabitant knows Evelina!!! In the end examining pictures on booking.com I found thjis place on second floor!!! Nobody awaited us!! We spent 3 hours trying to conntact service!! After a discussion with a service lady, it ocurred we had not paid city taxes. During payment for beds this additional payment was not included!! Then we received by phone code to locker with key. All five of us tourists did not want to make check in online. Evelina wanted to make scans of our IDs and a picture of each one holding ID near head!!! In our country it is forbidden to make copies or photos of personal ID cards or passports because there are very fragile datas. We were accepted to check in on location bu it did not happen. And one more last complaint. We were promissed to check out not at 10.00 but 12.00 and at 10.00 there came a cleaning service and almost threw us out. I made a telephone to booking.com and the answer was they had forgotten to inform shift in time cleaning service . IT IS JUST AMAZING!!
- Mirelle (10/5): Exceptional - Great host, easy communication, clean and good location.
- Gf (8/5): Very good - convenient for our purpose of visit
- Michael (8/5): Great clean and tidy apartment, good location. - Great clean and tidy apartment, good location. Had a few small issues with the AC in the living room but it was fixed super quickly.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Nice property tucked away in Central Rome, easy access to Vatican and the other hot spots. Christian was very helpful and always at hand to help. Will stay here again if we get the chance to revisit Rome!
- Lucien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing position in Rome, close to Trastevere but in a small street removed from tourists.
Chris is super supportive during all the check-in process.
- Ingrida (9/5): Superb - Convenient location, interesting house with a courtyard full of flowers.
- Satyajit (7/5): Good - Set in a charming building with pretty flowers A little cramped and some of the fittings are on the older side
- Zoran (9/5): Superb -
- Lukacs (10/5): Super accomodation. I recomand it. - The apartment was situeted 15 minutes from most of objectives to visit. We have everithing in kitchen and bathroom. The host gived all the information needed to get there. A little bit chill.
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (8/5): We were only at the property to sleep. Christian was extremely helpful before the stay while giving info about the city - The property was clean and bigger than expected The shower only gave extremely cold water and after texting Christian he read it and did not respond so we couldn’t shower.
- Radosław (10/5): This is Rome - Excellent, charming location. In the center but silent place. Good contact with owner. Thank You. Even If not everything is 100% perfect - this is the charm of Rome.
- Paulo (10/5): great -
- Anatoli (9/5): Superb - The place is in very good location, in walking distance from Vatican and from the historical center of Rome.
A lot of good restaurants are located around.
The place is clean and quiet. The shower head needs replacing because it's clogged and prevents normal water stream.
Also, the entrance door handle needs replacement.
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly host, comfortable apartment. 10min walk to a lot of restaurants.
Overall a good experience
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Ruhi (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location
Christian always answers our telephones.
Lovely garden and building
Good working Ac
- Brent (6/5): Pleasant - Central location to everything! Host was very responsive and had great suggestions for local places and tours. No washing machine as described
- Mark (9/5): Ideal base to explore central Rome - Excellent location close to Trastevere and all the main sights of Rome within walking distance. Very spacious and well-equipped apartment with a responsive and helpful host. The location is also set back in a relatively quiet street yet still very close to all the restaurants and bars of Trastevere. Many reviews noted the non-working hot water in the shower, which was the case for us upon arrival as well. However, the host had it fixed within the first day, and after that no complaints. Beds could be more comfortable, mattresses are quite hard.
- Helen (10/5): Superb! - Excellent, safe and quiet location.....we did all the attractions by foot. Chris, the host, was always contactable, helpful and accommodating. Any questions I had about the property were answered promptly. Excellent host.
- Ivan (9/5): In summary: this is a good place in a good location - Real Roman place, very beautiful and cozy. beautiful garden and large rooms with good facilities the shower has a lot of problems. hot water was not always, heater cannot fix it. the shower has an issues too sprayings water everywhere
- Елена (8/5): Good place with an old bathroom - The location is excellent. The building is traditional Italian. It was very clear and the rooms were nice. The shower was not working right. The toilet seat was broken. The beds in the small room were moving.
- Erhard (1/5): Bad - The Trastevere area is wonderful for trying out cafes and restaurants. Run away from this place!
We had no hot water from the time we arrived. When we contacted the host, he said he’d send someone over the next day. Day 1 no hot water! The next day a property manager came but couldn’t fix the problem. He suggested we take cold showers or heat water up on the stove. Day 2 no hot water! On Day 3 a “trusted specialist” came but couldn’t fix the problem. Day 3 no hot water! We were told that a new heater had been ordered but wouldn’t arrive until the day before we were scheduled to leave. That meant two more days without hot water! We moved to a hotel.
There is so much wrong with this place. Dirty floors. Plugged drains in the kitchen, bathroom sink and shower. Broken shower head. No washing machine even though one was advertised. And a host who is willing to leave his guests in an apartment for five days with no hot water!
- Fares (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (6/5): Pleasant - great location broken front door handle
broken air con unit
broken toilet seat
shower slow to drain
