Guest Reviews
- Lynette (10/5): - The property had been maintained by someone who cared. Lots of thoughtful touches
- Jennie (10/5): - Close to everything. Clean and spacious. Everything catered for.
- Emma (5/5): - Apartment itself was really nice, clean & perfect for what we were looking for. The location although it was central, felt very unsafe, especially at night. It was very noisy outside with people passing.
- Sally (10/5): Lovely place with everything you need - The decor and fit out was really good. They supplied everything. Great storage, smart TV and very clean. Close to everything; visitors’ centre, supermarkets, cafes, everything you need. Walking distance to everywhere. Great little place.
- kylie (5/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): - Great location. Unit had everything needed for a longer stay. Double bed was a bit small for the Mrs and I.
- Lana (10/5): - Cosy and clean. Great location. Had everything we needed :)
- Madeline (9/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): - Location,day bed
- wasan (6/5): It was fine - Accessible to public transport & shop The way they changed it from shop to studio , insulation not good , cold air comes in through the door & also the bed is on your face when you open the door . Cockroaches through the opening can be seen in the bedroom. & no curtains so the light still seeps through the glass of the door
- bevanded (8/5): Perth stay - Nice and clean and well set up. No staff on site and when there was a problem with the stove, we rang several times and were told someone will contact us. Two days and no stove.
- Neil (8/5): Gaining access was difficult. No advice on where the key safe was - Very clean . Had everything you could need Bit noisy with everyone walking past on the way to the lift
- Andrew (9/5): Very comfortable and good location. Quiet and warm. - Location was excellent. Ground floor a bonus. No TV remote for bedroom TV. As an older person, the getting into the place wasn't as easy as I had hoped. I also suggest leave some clothes washing powder for guest's convenience.
- Simone (7/5): Close to the markets and Rottnest ferry. - Lovely, everything you need for a couple of days. Shared laundry. Didn’t feel safe leaving my washing. Also $300 bond that was almost the cost of our 2 night stay was excessive and the most we have had to pay during our 2 week WA holiday.
- shane (8/5): -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (9/5): Loved the unit, def recommend to others - Location was perfect Very busy with other guests, especially in middle of night younger generation walking past front door and making lots of noise
- Christine (8/5): Our comfy stay - We are very happy with our stay, quiet, clean, comfy bed, lovely Reno's. Great stay. Thanks heaps.
- Nicole (9/5): We enjoyed our stay, thank you - It was a great place to stay, very well done, comfortable, location was excellent. Needed a blind or curtain over window in lounge/ kitchen area as this connects to the bedroom. Having a couple of extra towels and toilet roll would have been handy.
- Sandy (9/5): Great location - Right in fremantle, with a car park space. Comfortable bed We didn't use the air conditioner as it was too noisy. We used the fan supplied instead - which was much quieter
- Christine (8/5): Very good - great space & location! only one thing, and might be personal as well, the mattress was too soft.
- Karen (1/5): Don’t consider it for a stay you will be very unsatisfied we booked for 4 nights left after 1 night - Where it was located On first entering the building it became apparent that there was a not such pleasant smell which lasted our entire stay .
We also noticed that the bed was very small and unable to accommodate two people comfortably and had wooden sides that dug in your thighs ever time you sat down of attempted to get out of bed you also couldn’t view the tv from bed so you would be only able to from the lounge room but unfortunately there were only cane furniture with absolutely cushioning that had no life in them so that option was useless like the lounge room all together.
The kitchen was reasonably but yet again the kitchen table and chairs resembled something salvaged from local tip so sitting there was not a option.
Then to top it of the Entrance for the bathroom was very narrow and door opened outward so on exit I cut my forearm on exiting on the door handle that protruded out .
To sum it up the premises are not fit for purpose and uncomfortable and hard to determine when it night due to the amount of light coming in from outside .
So we left after 1 night of a 4 night booking
- Chambers (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (8/5): Nice little place to stay, very central for getting around Fremantle town. Clean place and good size accommodation. - Fantastic location central to town centre The bed was a small double not that comfortable for a couple.
The seating in living area a little uncomfortable.
- Melisa (8/5): We had a wonderful stay and would stay again - Was very cozy, great location The bed is way too small for a couple, so if you could upgrade to a queen would be much better. Maybe a bigger arm for the tv so you can watch better in bed 🙏
- Hunter (4/5): We wanted to love it, but it just wasn’t good. - The best part of the property was absolutely the central location, we could walk everywhere. The bathroom and kitchen were new and usable. We really wanted to like this property after seeing the images online. The central location was perfect but besides the kitchen and the bathroom, the rest of this property just wasn’t usable.
The entire lino floor was absolutely filthy, the entire time we were there we either had to wear shoes or socks inside because the floor made our feet black and dirty, it was also extremely sticky. I don’t think it has ever been mopped, it was really off putting.
The bed was absolutely terrible and tiny, the mattress was super uncomfortable and the bed was we think a double bed which does not fit a couple comfortably. The pillows were also very thin.
The loungeroom didn’t have one comfy chair, it was all cane furniture with thin cushions. And the rug smelt absolutely disgusting, I think it was mouldy.
The entire room didn’t have any natural flow of air or windows that you could open without your privacy being ruined. There was one window that was half glazed but it let in 0 natural light or fresh air. The front window couldn’t be opened at all because of the high traffic area that the window faces.
The back door of the property lead to an outdoor grass area that was used almost every night we stayed for a group gathering by neighbours, you can also hear every single word or movement of the upstairs neighbours.
If it wasn’t for the central location, and walking distance to everything, we wouldn’t have stayed.
- Mark (7/5): Great stay enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay there again. - Great location
Secure parking
Everything you need at site fully self-contained
Great price
very comfortable
Lived up to its name Beach Shack set out nice inside one blind is broken lets lots of light in.
Hot water pressure was very low however Believe this has been fixed.
- Lynne (3/5): Never again - Advertising and photos stated 'Beach Shack'. It was absolutely NOT a Beach Shack.
Getting access to building was horrendous.
The property was old and dated (except kitchen & bathroom).
Only had a double bed - this is not expected when booking accommodation.
Would not recommend or stay there again
- Glenn (9/5): Loved the studio appearance of the appartment was fantastic - Ideal size for our stay for a month
The central location of the apartment to Fremantle was perfect Shower pressure could have been better
- Robert (6/5): Small neat but a bit smelly. - The location, security, and size of the area. The whole area was, musty and smelt yuk. Defuser would overcome this or a cleaning product left in the area. Bed too small and sheets poor quality.
- Lauram (7/5): Beach styled apartment - It has all the amenities required for my purposes. The bed was a little too comfortable. There was no mention of the entire block being surrounded by screaming junkies every night by 6pm. It was quite annoying.
- Marinette (7/5): Good fit for our week stay purpose - Location for our purpose perfect All night outside lights shining inside room makes it difficult to sleep.
- Sharon (10/5): Loved it, I will stay again. - Gret location, walked to all places I was working at South Metro TAFE and South Metro Education Department, it was quiet, easy access, Lovely well appointed, surprising more spacious that I thought it would be, nicely decorated, everything you need in the accommodation. Close to shops. Offered parking but I didn't have a car.
- Anaru (8/5): Was a really nice place apart from trying to get the stovetop to work - Location, clean, own kitchen shower toilet Maybe a booklet or instructions on how to use the stovetop-very confusing
- Juliana (8/5): Very good - The bed was too small for 2 adults.
- Simon (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (7/5): Good - The location was great, just a short walk to the see shops and main attractions. The property was quite dark inside. Needed a skylight.
