• ISLAM (8/5): It was a wonderful moment. Feeling like a liniving in the sky. - Wonderful location stunning view of ocean and city. Sometimes cloud cover our floors. Gym and indoor swimming pool. Check out process easy. In the second bed room, two single bed were attached rather then a single double bed. Second toilet flush needs to be tap some times for flushing.

• Ai (9/5): Central, clean, and well maintained modern property with fantastic views. - The location was very central and next to the beach. The property is clean and well maintained. The view from the 66th floor was breathtaking. Finding street parking to pick up the key at the My Local Store was a bit tricky as the area can get quite busy. However once the key was collected the parking instructions at the property were relatively clear. Being able to pick up the key at the property itself would be ideal. It would be nice if the cost of parking was included or at least included in the total price so that a separate transaction would not be required.

• Gwenn (7/5): Good stay - Amazing view. Nice indoor pool and sauna. We couldn't access the indoor pool for the whole morning as the door got jammed. The wifi only worked for few hours the night we arrived. We contacted SkipQ the next day who promised to call back to get it fixed but nothing was done while I explained that my kids had to work on their assessment and wifi was required. They never called back with an update and never picked up the phone when I tried to reach them for some updates. The kitchen could do with some steak knives and more cutlery.

• Mike (1/5): Do not stay here - unclean, unhygienic and not a luxury apartment - overpriced. - The location is great, right on the beach and walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants etc. Direct access to the esplanade across the road and access to all of the building's facilities including 2 x indoor pools, heated outdoor pool, gym and sauna. This is not a luxury property as advertised. One of the toilets was soiled, the bathrooms were unhygienic and the shower heads were coated in scum and mould. the bottom of the bath had black marks in it and was full of sand. The floor had not been properly cleaned; there were left over items of clothing and other personal items left in the apartment. The doors to the bedrooms do not close properly and so they bang constantly when the aircon is running - meaning you cant close them at night while sleeping. We clearly booked for a family of 4 to stay there but there was not enough cutlery, plates, bowls etc for a family of 4.

The beds were relatively comfortable. Although we had a wonderful stay, the bed linens, pillows and cushions could be improved. There were actual doonas in the cupboards but they were a bit musty smelling.

It was nicely and adequately fitted out with kitchen and laundry amenities. All within walking distance of Surfers Central. One of the beds was pretty soft and saggy, more of a preference thing. Everything else was great.

• kamryn (7/5): Nice stay, very hot in apartment. - Amazing location 10min walk from everything and directly across from the beach. In the Meriton building so had a nice restaurant underneath. Enough space for 6 people, views amazing (which is what u pay for). we had a lovely stay with multiple pools, saunas and spas all very nice and clean. Bed sheets and bathrooms all well clean and good wifi as well. Owner easy to contact and would try his best to answer questions we had. Was able to get an early check in with little notice as the apartment won’t hold ur bag prior to check in which was nice. Aircon didn’t work, had an error code come up 15-20mins after the aircon was running meaning the room was sitting between 25-30° most of the trip. Discussed with owner and he sent someone over however he could not help. Microwave didn’t work and toaster barely worked either. For such a large apartment would have loved these facilities as we purchased food that we could not use. Staff down stairs are rude and will not help at all. This is not the owners fault but something to keep in mind. Would have loved some beach towels as well as we were having to use our bath towels.

• Jag (1/5): - This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. The property was unclean, poorly maintained, and completely unfit for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms did not work at all, making the room unbearably hot and unusable. We were told that a technician had attended and “fixed” the issue while we were out, but this was clearly untrue. Although the unit was supposedly set to 22°C, the room temperature sat at 28°C the entire time—often feeling even hotter. It was stifling, stuffy, and impossible to sleep in. When we raised the issue after the first night and requested a refund so we could find alternative accommodation, the hosts were dismissive and rude. Instead of addressing the problem, they gave us a fabricated story about the air conditioning being checked and working properly. No one came, nothing was fixed, and we were left stuck in an unacceptable situation for the duration of our stay. I have been using Booking.com for nearly 15 years, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. This property should not be listed, and the host’s conduct is completely unacceptable. There needs to be far better monitoring of properties like this to prevent others from wasting their time and money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Really convenient location only a 2 minute walk to the tram station and around 10 minutes to the main strip of surfers paradise. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend:) Only downside I noticed was the wifi would get a bit slow for about a hour in the evening, nothing major though.

• Liana (7/5): Loved the location and view but a few hiccups spoiled overall experience - The view and the location can not have been better. The apartment was new . Bathrooms modern and clean 1.If you want to cook you’ll have to go buy your own pot / pan like I had to as they are so disgusting you can’t cook in them. I asked twice for replacement and eventually they delivered another pan from another apartment that was only marginally better. I ended up taking a trip to target to buy my own. Also cutlery is limited and not good quality. 2.The sofa was also so soiled that I had to Cover it to feel comfortable sitting on it. 3.They have turned the water temperature right down that you are only able to have a warm shower at best. To have a bath I had to boil many kettles worth of water. I was told the water temperature is like that as a safety procedure- I have never encountered this before. 4. The towels are thin and worn - doesn’t cost much to replace them from Target/ Kmart Overall it didn’t spoil our week there, but the overall experience could have been much better.
• Camille (7/5): Great location and view, comfy enough but recommend you do your research - The property was in a good location, close to nearby cafes and short walk into Cavill Avenue and public transport. The view from the property was also great. The bed sizes were good in all rooms and had all the facilities we needed for the weekend. There were a few things during the stay which would have improved our overall rating. Firstly we experienced a lot of issues with the ducted air conditioning, where it would cut off in the entire apartment. The error code coming up was a system failure from overheating. We followed the instructions by ensuring cooling was selected in all rooms but it would continually drop out. Some of us were waking up during the night sweating as there was no aircon, so could not sleep comfortably. We contacted the hosts through the channel who said they would have someone look at it, but no one did. The furnishings and overall apartment were old and not consistent with a ‘luxurious’ apartment. Lots of patches and stains on the walls, couch was covered in blankets and pillows quite compressed, and lighting fixtures were falling apart. The sink in the bathroom had cracked and was just patched. Towels and hand towels supplied but no face washers. A brush for the sink but no cloth to wipe down benches or tables. The lock box code for check in wasn’t supplied before check in time. We rang the contact number but advised that we were ringing out of hours. Had to message through booking.com to get the code sent to our phone. Parking prices were astronomical. We wish we had of done our research and used the $8 all day car park a block down the road rather than $50 a night at the apartment. Considering the above, we feel the apartment is slightly overpriced. You are largely paying for a view and location rather than a luxurious stay

Die Küchenausstattung war sehr basic und könnte umfangreicher sein. Die Waschmaschine nicht funktioniert. Außerdem bekommt man nur einen Schlüssel was bei mehreren Erwachsenen problematisch ist, da der Aufzug nur mit dem Schlüssel nutzbar ist

The pools are fabulous and hotel is lovely. The check-in procedure is a shambles. You have to pick up a key from a lock box at a corner dairy. But they forgot to send us the instructions and do not answer their phone. We sat in the car outside the dairy trying to get hold of them. The room was nice but the furniture is cheap and uncomfortable which makes it hard to enjoy the views.

Skipq took two days to respond only after I contacted them again, but nothing come of it, we had 6 people sharing one bathroom for the holiday, not ideal. Basics not supplied, like basic cleaning supplies and garbage bags. A bit pf customer service would of gone a long way, I wouldn’t stay again.

• Tuan (8/5): Excellent Location and Views but Not a Full Hotel Experience - We stayed here in January 2026 in Room 5902 with a city view. The view was excellent, especially at night. The location is very convenient. It’s the same location as Meriton Suites, with a short walk to the tram, Coles and Surfers Paradise city centre. The beach is directly across the road. This is more of an Airbnb-style accommodation rather than a traditional hotel. The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped. Internet was OK for general use and there were TVs in the living room/bedrooms. The gym and swimming pool facilities were decent and met our needs. Keys need to be picked up from a convenience store, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Communication was also an issue as messages we sent via booking.com were never read. Additionally, if you have a late flight, there is no luggage storage available like you would expect at a normal hotel.

Definitely a beautiful spot! The parking was a bit of a mission to find but eventually had it sorted. Also the air con was a bit touchy it was either really warm in there or freezing.
