Guest Reviews
- Peta (7/5): -
- van den Hövel (9/5): - Super nice little place. It has everything for a short stay (the well equipped small kitchenette was very nice). The place is close to the train station and bus stops as well, plus the location in general is very nice too. It was a little cold inside, but besides that everything was perfect.
- Geraldine (10/5): Teddington stay - Location, comfy bed, good shower Would be good to have a mirror in the main room to do hair/makeup
- Colin (10/5): Great location , great apartment great value - Location, decor of apartment, cleanliness and great host Nothing not to liken
- Fadia (10/5): Perfect Cosy Gateway for Two - We had a wonderful stay at this flat. It was very cosy, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable throughout. The space was thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made settling in easy and stress-free. The landlord was very welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It’s the perfect place for a couple looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay. We would happily come back again!
- Eric (9/5): Good facilities, good owner,good value. -
- Price (10/5): Excellent in all respects - Stylish and well fitted Nothing
- frederic (8/5): A charming village-style stay close to London - Communication with the host was excellent. He was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in, which made things much easier. The apartment was fully equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s ideally located just a short walk from Teddington High Street. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. The only minor downside was that the water wasn’t quite as hot as we’re used to, but it didn’t affect our stay, and we could still enjoy a proper shower.

- Lisa (10/5): Cute , comfortable with everything I needed . - Great modern kitchenette and bathroom. ,
- Rebecca (8/5): Host was kind and helpful. Very comfy little place to stay. - Everything I needed Very sweet perfect for a solo traveller or couple
- Mark (10/5): -
- Juliet (8/5): - Great location, just off the high street. Easy walking distance to Twickenham stadium. It has everything you need for a short stay. There was a bit od noise late at night.
- Marcin (10/5): Idealny na Parkrun Bushy - Lokalizacja
- Edina (10/5): Perfect little studio with friendly host - Zoran was very friendly and flexible, we had a great chat, when I arrived. The little studio flat has everything you need for a short visit and if you don't want to cook( there is a fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave), its perfect for 1 person or for a couple. Everything was sparkling clean, which is always very important for me. The high street is 1 minute walk with lots of cafes and restaurants, when I am travelling I love to walk to places as much as possible, so the location was great. Overall I was very pleased, if I have to come again, I will book Zoran's place again. Just a small suggestion: a mirror, the bathroom mirror was up high and I am short so it was difficult for a woman and there is no full length mirror, for me it would be useful and a little extra comfort.
- Louise (9/5): Charming and cosy . - Perfect . Cosy and sweet and very well situated . So peaceful which is what I wanted too . The host is lovely . Nothing I didn’t like really . There was even a car parking space right next to the property .
- sinead (7/5): convenient, good for just one night - Close to high street Owner lived directly above the room. Parking was free but not allocated, had to find somewhere nearby, hardly any spaces available.
- donna (10/5): Perfect for an independent trip tim Teddington - It was clean comfy and had everything I needed It could do with a full length mirror as the one in the bathroom is very small but it’s not an essential
- Brown (9/5): Great base to visit Twickenham for rugby - This is a basic room, a bedroom with a kitchen and a bathroom, but it is ideal for an overnight visit.
The kitchen is equipped with a kettle, toaster and a fridge freezer. The bathroom is a toilet, sink and shower. Toiletries and towels are provided. Nothing
- Jill (6/5): It served its purpose for cheap bed for the night. - Cosy, clean and comfortable. Water in the shower wasn’t very warm- in fact the whole flat wasn’t that warm. No milk to have in tea and no parking
- Petra (8/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Plahe (8/5): Great location for short stay - Great location, very central in Teddington. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Front door didn’t fit properly. Window only had blinds that couldn’t be blacked out, so light gets in. Shower only had warm water, not hot.
- Trevor Hewett (6/5): The room is VERY small and the location is not quiet - Noisy at night with several businesses including a laundry operating in the narrow alleyway
- Marian (10/5): Wonderful location, perfect host! - Everything! Nothing!
- Stephen (10/5): Tedington Sorted - Great location, all you need in one place.
Don't forget there's a couple of fold up chairs behind the head of the bed and a fold up table at the other end. Could have better black out blinds or curtains as there is a security light that went off in the night and illuminated the entire room.
- Andrea (8/5): Fantastic stopover place with all the great amenities of Teddington! - Lovely little room just perfect for me working during the day and needing somewhere comfy and clean at night. Bathroom and kitchen very nice. Communication top rate! The restaurant next door
- Jean-Paul (10/5): - Very calm location, just off teddington high street, every was clean, well equipped and comfortable
- Linda (7/5): Close to the main street - The studio is well appointed and clean. It was nice to have a kitchenette, especially a microwave and kettle and sink to wash up. The bathroom was great, and the shower was a nice size. It's good to have a small table and chair. The host, Zoran, is wonderful. He was so helpful and accommodating. It was great to be so close to Bushy Park for parkrun and the train into Waterloo only took about 35 minutes. The studio is not actually in an apartment building. It's in a lane way behind the shops on the main street. It was very noisy during my stay. There are storage units on the other side and tradesmen were there on Thursday and Friday from early in the morning until 6pm, blaring music, loud talking. When they left, various vans kept driving right outside the door to unload stuff for the 2 restaraunts plus some sort of warehouse. This noise went on until after midnight. I had to ask those people more than once to turn off music blaring from their vans and not have conversations outside my door. I did not sleep well at all. The water in the shower was only luke warm so I was quite cold talking a shower. The location is in a commercial area rather than residential, and this is not made clear in the description. If the studio would have been in another location it would have been great but it was really hard to get past the noise.
- Young (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, convenient. The host was very helpful and accommodating to my requests. Much better than travellodge!
- Tabatha (10/5): Would stay again - Good location, friendly host, really clean and modern. Not located on the main road so less noise from the road.
We parked just outside the property too which was very easy. Nothing
- Heidi (8/5): A good location just off the high street, but quiet. Compact but well equipped room. -
- J (8/5): Very good -
- Marnie (9/5): Superb - Small but had everything we needed; in a fantastic location! We’ll stay again.
- Leonie (10/5): Lovely host, felt safe, comfy bedsit. Definitely would go again. - Quiet, safe location. Comfy bed No iron or long mirror
- Thi (8/5): Nice little place, convenient location. - Nice little place with all the amenities as described. Convenient place, only minutes away from the train station and tucked away from the high street, which has lots of lovely places to eat.
Zoran, the host was easily contactable and met at the place to hand over the key and showed the place around. While I did not mind the music from the music school a few doors away (and their lesson seems to end around 8.30pm), there were some noisy cars unloading outside the flat and there seems to be a storage/small warehouse next to it and this went on until late in the night. I only stayed for one night so it didn't bother me that much but would not appreciate this repeatedly.
- Tracey (10/5): Definitely, a little Gem! - Definitely a great find! The accommodation is clean, has comfortable bedding (will be ordering those pillows myself) and is in an ideal location. Zoran is a delightful host and a great communicator. Enjoyed meeting him. N/A
- John (7/5): Expensive but probably about right for the area - Near to shops. Parkng when when we understood where it was. Small room. Noise from the dance school. No Air con however the outside temp was exceptional. Noise from Transit vans unloading.
- Sandra (9/5): Would return but in less hot temperatures - It had a parking space and the location was instant walk to town and 40 minutes walk to Hampton Court Palace Did not have air con, it was very warm and windows had limited air flow because of Venetian blinds
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Really lovely space, well decorated and had useful bits in kitchenette area. Host was lovely, cant fault my stay.
- Lyndsey (9/5): Excellent- will use again - Super accommodating spotlessly clean great location Nothing
- Luca (10/5): Nice and comfortable. - Freshly refurbished, attention to details and comfortable bed. Not easy to have all these together in London. The train station is just 5 min away by walk. Nothing.
- Maggie (10/5): Ideal place to stay, comfortable and helpful host. - It’s on a quiet lane, easy to find . Clean and comfortable . The mirror in the bathroom could have been longer as we’re little we see in the mirror.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (9/5): Clean, convenient, comfortable, good location, excellent value. - Friendly & helpful owner met me with the keys, showed me round the property and explained everything. Place was ideal weekend accommodation for one person or a couple used to bed-sharing who don't need too much extra space. Facilities good & very clean, everything worked. Parking is possible next to property but you need to take care reversing out as there's no room to turn a car round. Parking also possible on adjacent streets (off-peak). Area is quiet at night. Starbucks plus other coffee shops are 1 minute walk, just around the corner. Location is good & convenient but Saturday there was a very noisy dance class in the adjacent studio (they kept the windows wide open in the warm weather), but the owner could not control this and most people would be out & about on Saturday anyway. Teddington is under the LHR flight path but residents are used to that and again, this is no fault with the property - it just comes with this area-location.
- Shelley (7/5): Would recommend aside from noise as mentioned.a - Very convenient & great to have parking space Noisy dance studio late afternoon.
Building work opposite at gone 11 pm!
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location: easy walk from the station and close to shops, bars and restaurants nothing
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant location close to Teddington Hight Street, and a nice walk across the park to Hampton Court Palace. Facilities were really good, and it was nice to have the kitchen area. Host was really friendly.
- Lisa (7/5): A sweet spot with potential to be even better - Cute little room with ensuite. Kitchenette had the basics for microwaving, kettle and fridge.
Friendly host who made us feel welcome and helped me as I found it tricky to lock the front door.
Clean and tidy, it was an excellent place to stay for me and baby while visiting our relatives in the beautiful community of Teddington. Close to the shops and amenities. Close to Teddington station and the famous Bushy Park Parkrun. I had hoped to be ready to check out around 10:00 by the time Parkrun was finished but ended up being a little later due to how busy and popular it is. But I felt a bit pressured to meet this as the cleaner was on a stricter schedule than I was.
Felt a bit rushed to leave, feed and change the baby etc but was still before the official checkout time.
-My suggestion would be to please book the cleaner after the official checkout time. It is nice to have the freedom to check out anytime before this.
-Some milk or creamer sachets even for hot drinks would have been a good addition to the hot drink selection.
-The shower water went absolutely everywhere even with angling the shower head away and less pressure. Used all of the towels provided to mop up the water and the bathmats were soaked.
-A bin liner too please. I had nappies and didn’t want to put them straight into an unlined bin in the kitchen.
- Adrian (9/5): Very good - Zoran was a great host, polite and helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Soundproofing isn't the best and there was a lot of noise, early in the morning as there are a number of other apartments and business units in close proximity. I'd stay again, but take ear plugs.
- William (10/5): Awesome place in Kensington! - Perfectly apportioned. Wonderful location and free parking. Our host was easy to communicate with and helpful. We highly recommend his place.
- Charlene (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, location was great, little extra touches, cereals, power adapter, extra towels, microwave,
- Claudia (10/5): Good place to stay - The place was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the place overall was worth the money. The owner seemed like a nice person. We enjoyed our short stay.
- Susan (7/5): Zoran was a very nice host. - Drying up rack and drying up towel.
side plates. Extra 2 blankets would have been good as chilly still this time of year.
- Jeanette (10/5): A fantastic little place to stay, with everything you could need. - Had everything we needed for our stay. The host Zoran (forgive me if I have your name wrong) was absolutely brilliant, really helpful.
The place was spotlessly clean. N/a
- Trigg (10/5): Teddington Little Gem is clean with everything you need for a quick stop over, thank you 🙂 - Friendly host, met us when we arrived and showed us around
- Juliet (9/5): Excellent location, well equipped. - The location is superb, Teddington high street is a minute's walk, so many restaurants and take aways available, a really nice area. We stayed here to attend Twickenham, it was approx 1 hr walk on well lit main roads. Parking was great, felt very secure.
Host was welcoming, friendly and very responsive. Really minor niggle, the mattress was a bit soft for us and pillows a bit thick, BUT the rest outweighs this for us and we'll likely return next year.
- Isabelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): A real gem - Location was brilliant, just tucked behind the high street and only 5 minutes from the station. It's very small. Fine for me, a squash for a couple.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and facilities
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Yaw (8/5): Great place to stay to explore west and central london - Great host, location, private car park and fresh towels.. Toiletries were provided as well.Good for solo travellers and young couple looking to explore Richmond, Kingston and London. The kitchen is great for those looking to order take ins. Breakfast cereals were provided Nothing! Just information for others - if you're looking to cook then kitchen may not be suitable.
- Cathcart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee (10/5): Lovely little apartment which suited my needs perfectly! - Zoran was very helpful when planning my stay, and was waiting to greet me with keys and a guided tour on arrival. The apartment was clean, well appointed, and met exactly my needs for the visit.
- Moore (6/5): Was glad to feel safe and dry for the night. Bit sad to feel so cold. Host was very welcoming. - The host was very helpful and communicated well. All the basics were there and breakfast cereal/milk were offered. Very close to Teddington High Street which is very pleasant. The room was cold and radiator didn't come on even in the morning. A long mirror would be useful - the little one in the bathroom was too high. Shower curtain was new but didn't seem long or wide enough to prevent water splashing out. TV sounded as though speaker was distorted so difficult to hear. Under the flightpath but luckily activity seems to stop at night.
- Charmaine (9/5): Thank you for the stay - will definitely return! - Spotlessly clean, all amenities provided, friendly and responsive host.
- Euan (9/5): 10/10 would stay again - Friendly and helpful owner & cosy room Noise from neighbouring restaurant and dance studio
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (10/5): It was a short stay - one night - and perfect for my needs. - Comfortable, well-equipped, ground floor so no stairs and centrally situated. . Also close to the bus to Heathrow. It suited me in every respect.
- Tze-wan (9/5): Helpful host, nice location, well equipped -
