- Irina (10/5): A family sleep over on the way to Sevilla airport - Very convenient, three bedrooms, we are a family of four, our kids even had each their own bedroom.
All the utilities are in place.
The host was exceptionally wonderful and helpful. Especially given that we arrived late at night.
Convenient if you need a sleepover before a flight from Sevilla. It is really minor, but the only thing was the noise from the street. We had our windows open and occasional cars really disturbed me and my husband. The kids slept like babies as they are.
- Margit (10/5): Lovely stay with delicious morning coffee - Super nice place to stay, very clean and with everything you need. Breakfast was available with coffee, which I appreciate very much. We parked our car safely in garage. There was beautiful terrace to eat dinner and enjoy the warm evening. Our host was very nice and his sisters, who helped us in every way. Will definitely recommend it!
- Error (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (9/5): Superb - Domingo was friendly and responsive, he met us very promptly on arrival & let us use his garage. He showed us around including how to use the heating and find extra blankets!
The lounge was very comfortable. The dining table was good to spread our maps on and plan our travels!
Bathroom spacious and good shower.
Bedroom - nice to have bedside tables, sockets and light each side of bed.
Kitchen good, coffee machine good.
Location perfect for our birdwatching trips on local salt marshes, rivers, coasts etc.
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - Domingo was very welcoming, generous and helpful. We hope to come back sometime.
- Rita (10/5): Great! - The apartment was great for our needs! The check-in was thorough and fast and we got great tips from the owner. He was super kind and always available if we needed help. We will definitely return!
- Max (9/5): Superb - We arrived late passing through on our way from Sevilla to Portugal. They waited up for us, and upon request offered to do a load of laundry that was ready for when we left in the morning! The place had a homey charm. The main bedroom was nice and big, the other two were small but cozy. Super nice hosts.
- Alison (9/5): Very comfortable stay, the apartment had everything you would need and more. - There was good range of coffee and tea plus snacks and water n cold drinks in the fridge. Nice surprise! There was some noise outside the property, mostly people talking, but this wouldn't put me off staying again.
- David (5/5): Hint - shop around for a better option - Very good wifi. Some free refreshments in the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are well-equipped. There are 3 rooms here above a garage. Access is through a very steep flight of stairs. Plus a shared kitchen, bathroom, living room. The AC is only in the living room, so the heating (and presumably cooling in summer) from that does not extend to the other shared rooms. We were lucky as the other two bedrooms were vacant, as there would be difficulties utilising living room, bathroom, kitchen. You have to leave your bedroom door open to get benefit of heating (or cooling) from the AC. Access to the shared bathroom is across the common area and adjacent to the kitchen. Be prepared for water on the floor around the WC after a shower.
There is some effort in making the place pretty, such as by plastic flowers and cute messages affixed to walls, but generally the renovations look rather hastily done. The beds we had were short with basic linen, and it was necessary to put the extra blanket under the sheets to soften the mattress. Bathroom and kitchen space is tight, with picnic style foldable chairs and foldable table the go in the kitchen. Be prepared for the many messages that you will receive via WhatsApp from the offsite manager - we had more than a dozen.
You can park a car in the garage if you want. We got a space more convenient in a nearby street, but summer might be a different parking situation.
Generally this is not a place that holds value for money - too much is asked for too little - expensive even in early March. It lacks convenience, comfort, and that imprecise thing that could be called charm, or the character of Andalusia. It’s basically accommodation on top of a garage. That said, probably ok in summer if you just want a room plus a kitchen and a living area and you´re not too worried about privacy. Just hope that others in the other two rooms don’t use the common areas much!
