• Anthony (8/5): Used this apartment as a central hub to explore Rome, largely on foot. We could drop in and chill at any stage. It’s rou - Great central location from which to spend our short stay in Rome. We were able to walk to most of the main attractions, and took a brief bus ride to the Colosseum. It’s 25 minute taxi to and from the train station. The room was clean and well appointed. Access to the floor via small quaint old school lift. The accommodation worked really well for us. Take your time to work out how the lift operates, and you’ll be fine. One at a time with luggage at the start and finish of the stay, but it all worked very well for us.

When we arrived to the Rubens....we had no idea how to get into the building...luckily a lady let us and told us it was on the 3rd floor....we were not given any codes to access the building ...or the entrance to the Rubens ...not sure why we were not told of how to get into the building...not sure what we would have done if the lady didn't let us in....

The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated that there were no stairs to worry about since there’s an elevator, making it easy to manage our luggage. Tag die elektronischen Schlüsselkarten abgelaufen und es konnte uns 1h niemand helfen/ die verantwortliche Person war nicht erreichbar Das ist zwar nicht tragisch, aber 1h im Ungewissen zu sein war stressig - sonst alles perfekt!

• Kevin (10/5): - The property was wonderful! Beautiful entrance to the 6 rooms, adorable “lobby” area. We came off a cruise so we got to the property around 10:30, checkin was 2. I was concerned about storing our luggage so we could walk around before checkin. Language barrier kind of had me nervous as I asked several times about a place to store luggage. Everything worked out great. It was unclear from description that anyone was there on-site as everything talked about “checking yourself in and keys would be available in a box if room was ready. Someone was onsite beginning at 8am and allowed us to put all of our luggage in one of the rooms (we had 2 rooms, 5 people) even though it had not been cleaned yet, just so it was safe. He got us different quotes for airport transport the following day. Everything worked out great for us and would stay again!

Acolchado blanco con manchas, el baño sucio, toallas muy desgastadas. El ascensor es inseguro y sus puertas suelen quedar mal cerradas y se debe subir por escaleras los 3 pisos.

The location was perfect because we wanted to be close to Travestevere neighborhood. The windows opened on their own, durning the day and night. It was very random, but we would come home to find the windows open. The shower also didn't drain the best, so water leaked on the floor. This wasn't a big deal to us, but it was interesting.

Fica muito perto de uma zona fantástica de restaurantes, com excelente ambiente. Pedimos para guardar as bagagens e não colocaram qualquer problema. O elevador que sendo antigo, limita a sua utilização. Fica a cerca de 20 a 30 minutos a pé do centro histórico.

The setup feels like a large apartment where each bedroom has been turned into a hotel room, so you might occasionally hear things like morning alarms from other rooms, but it wasn’t a big issue.

• Joe (9/5): Prisvärt fräscht boende i Rom med gångavstånd till allt - Väldigt fräscht sovrum och badrum, bra AC, eluttag vid sängen, gångavstånd till allt (Vatikanen, Colosseum, Spanska trappan, Trastevere…), trevlig och snäll personal, lugn gata utanför, espressomaskin på rummet. Det bjöds också på vatten varje dag och croissanter på söndagar. Inget kylskåp samt att det var lyhört inifrån – man kunde höra grannar som kom hem och stängde dörren. Finns täcke men som omsluts av två separata lakan (lakan - täcke - lakan) vilka ofta hamnar ojämnt när man sover. Städning garanteras inte efter 10.

The bed was comfortable and the aircon worked a treat. The spacious lift only really fits 1 person with a bag at a time but otherwise its fine.

• Đokić (10/5): Perfect choice - Everything was perfect. Apartmant is clean, it had everything we needed for one night stay in Rome. Location is very convenient, the city is very walkable so it takes about 20 min by foot to get to any main attraction. The hosts even let us leave our luggage after check-out.

Ben insonorizzata dall'esterno (la via è comunque tranquilla). Posizione molto comoda per alcune zone di Roma (Trastevere, Campo dei fiori ma comunque walking distance dalle attrazioni del centro. Ero in una stanza definita superior ma mancava uno spazio scrivania.

• Pamela (8/5): Alles mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wenn diese ein bisschen besser geputzt werden, nichts auszusetzen. - Lage war super, Holzboden im Zimmer, modern eingerichtet, Check in online, hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Badzimmerarmaturen waren sehr verkalkt und WC hatte Bremsspuren. Es sind nur 6 Zimmer und dadurch manchmal ein bisschen hellhörig.

• Telena (8/5): We loved our stay at the Ruben’s collection, I would highly recommend a bar fridge so in summer guests could have cold w - The property was comfortable, clean and in a perfect location! Close enough to walk to the main attractions and just across the bridge from the bursting night life of Trastevere, it was quiet and comfortable. There was no bar fridge which made it extremely difficult for us as it was very hot and couldn’t have cold drinks readily available.

• Ma (9/5): - Very good location. Walking distance to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Transtevere, Vatican. The rooms are big and comfortable. The owners were very kind and accommodating with our requests such as new towels everyday, cleaning of rooms everyday. They made us feel at home.
