Турок , с очень плохим английским и максимально невежливыми манерами - чуть что ты его спросишь он отвечает , что если что-то не устраивает он отменит бронь и выселит тебя. На сообщения он нигде не отвечает вообще…и на месте его почти никогда нет. Вообщем не рекомендую

Shoh (7/5): 料金で考えると優良な宿だと思う。 - 旧市街の中心地でメインどころの観光がしやすい。無料で使えるランドリーがある。料金の割に部屋が綺麗でかわいいつくり。このあたりは外食の料金がとても高いので、キッチンが使えるのは助かる。ホテルというより民泊なのでフロントがなく、アプリでしか連絡が取れない。部屋の照明がやや暗い。水が止まったりブレーカーが上がってしまったり、ファシリティ面で何かとトラブルがあった。

Madina (4/5): - Местоположение Я не проживала в том номере, который бронировала и за который полностью оплатила. По неизвестной мне причине произошла накладка с номером. После заселения выяснилось, что мой номер занят, и мне предоставили другую комнату, которая не соответствовала условиям бронирования и оплаченной сумме. Я сразу связалась со службой поддержки Booking, где мне сообщили, что проблема будет решена, однако никаких реальных действий предпринято не было. Меня фактически оставили без помощи в сложившейся ситуации. На ресепшене ответственность за проблему переложили на меня, вместо того чтобы самостоятельно урегулировать вопрос. В результате я была вынуждена прожить 3 дня в очень маленькой и холодной комнате, не соответствующей стандартам и стоимости проживания. Только спустя три дня меня переселили в более комфортный номер, однако и он не соответствовал тому номеру, который я изначально бронировала и оплатила.

Александр (10/5): - It's the most comfortable place which we have visited ever. There're all for good life. I start with kitchen. Kitchen have all kitchen equipments and even the dishwasher (you don't need to wash dish by hand) and the toaster. Staff make cafe every day in the morning (if it end you can ask about do more). There're teapots (and big endless pot with tea leaves) in which you can do some tea. Also you can find some meal, for example spices and cereals (or left something you don't need here). All room have own shelf in the fridge. There's also common area. You can eat, relax or working here. You can find here small library which consists of travel guid and literature in many languages. There's terrace in last floor. You can enjoy sunset, listen prayer and look at the Bosphorus. Some about room: there are enough to living: big bed, wardrobe with hangers and bathrobe, bedside table. You can washing and drying (free!) you cloth in machine which situated in the balcony near the kitchen. After all, The hotel is located in the center. It takes no more than 5-10 minutes to walk to any attraction or store.

angela (7/5): Stanza utile come punto d'appoggio per qualche giorno e per socializzare. - Posizione ottimale per Sultanhamet. I proprietari sono molto veloci e disponibili. Gli spazi comuni sono accoglienti. Bagni e docce comuni spaziose e abb.za pulite. Benché la camera fosse apparentemente bella, le pareti erano molto umide e le finestre poco isolate tanto da trovarci acqua al mattino, pareti scrostate e vestiti umidi. Le lenzuola erano più corte della dimensione del letto, e semplicemente girandosi si toglievano.
Lan Piy Tyan (1/5): Не советуем и не рекомендуем - Очень , очень , еще раз очень сильно воняет сыростью и плесенью . Узкие крутые лестницы , с чемоданом пройти трудно , лифта нет ! Мы размещались 25 октября 2025 года. Было холодно и не было одеяла в номере , мы очень сильно замерзли ! Не рекомендуем тут останавливаться , рядом очень много есть отелей. Alex (10/5): - I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments. It was very spacious and clean. It has a washing machine for doing laundry inside, as well as great communal facilities upstairs. The AC works very well. It is in a great location, short walk to the tram stop, as well as main sights like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout the whole stay. They also gave me great advice on local restaurants, etc. to help avoid the touristy places in Sultanahmed. Very happy with the stay, would 100% recommend.

El personal estuvo muy atento a nuestra estancia explicándonos todo con detalle y los servicios que podríamos utilizar. Nos facilitaron el transporte de regreso al aeropuerto al acabar nuestra estancia. Pudimos recorrer los monumentos mas importantes de Estambul a pie, aunque estaba muy cerca una parada de tranvía.

On the second floor, there is an excellent kitchen with a full set of cooking utensils, as well as a common area with adjustable work tables, a large dining table, a comfortable sofa, and stunning views from the windows. The rooftop offers a cozy area to relax on a warm summer evening and admire the illuminated city of Istanbul. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for nearby cafes and shops. I highly recommend this hotel The hotel does not have air conditioning. Only very noisy fans. If you do not have a room with windows on two sides, as we did, it may be stuffy

We had the studio room, highly recommend. There are a lot of steps but that doesn’t bother me.
Crystal (1/5): Bad - The place was perfect, great location and great value for money however one staff member was very confrontational and rude. The treatment from this staff member was so bad it ruined the whole experience. So disappointing as every other member of staff was lovely and so accommodating. One of the staff members was so rude and confrontational. I would not recommend anyone to stay here from this man's behaviour. He was annoyed at where I had left my bag in the office (over text someone had confirmed to leave it in the office) and that I hadn't taken my shoes off as I didn't realise that was the preference. The worst customer service I have ever had. I was trying to leave the communal space after I had used the toilet and was putting my shoes on but this man stood over me and would not leave despite me asking him to leave me to put my shoes on. He just wanted to get his point across and it became so bad that I put my phone on to record. The sarcasm, anger and lack of space given when I was trying to leave was beyond anything I have ever experienced. There is an image attached of this staff member please if you are staying here be aware of this man.

Evgeniya (8/5): Great value for the money! - The staff was very friendly and helpful, though they didn't speak much English and we had to use translators. The room was spacious and comfortable. Our windows oversaw a small but rather busy street, so it was quite noisy at night but nothing that a pair of earplugs wouldn't resolve. The blackout curtains were great! The terrace is not very clean but provides a great view and a lovely spot to have breakfast. The kitchen is well-equipped and the water filter was a saviour as I'm used to filling my bottle with tap water. The bathrooms were ok. The common space was really cosy and had a nice atmosphere. We loved it! In general, this hostel is a great value for the money. I didn't figure out who was supposed to turn on the dishwasher - the staff or the guests. If it was the guests, there were no detergents or tablets. If it was the staff, the dishwasher was neglected for 3-4 days. I could have asked at the reception, but we were too busy planning our daily trips. Anyway, it's a minor thing compared to all the value this hostel provides.

Maria (8/5): The perfect location to visit Istanbul - Staff is very reactive. The location is the best you can find in Istanbul, very well located. The studio was nice and it was cool to have a little kitchen as well. They also have a rooftop which is very cute. They offer a free washing machine service (which is shared among all guests) The bed wasn’t the best. Only 1 small towel for 5 days was a bit stingy. However I am sure they would have given me more if I asked. The toilet is not great since the toilet seat kept falling off. This is something should be fixed because it’s not very comfortable.

David (9/5): Great location and clean and nice facilities. - You can't beat the location, just a five minute walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Great Bazaar. The sidestreet was quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the community spaces were very nice, but since I was out during the day, I had no opportunity to really take advantage of them. There was a wonderful rooftop sitting area with a view over the Old City. The staff was excellent and had all sorts of great tips and recommendations for the city. It is a hostel, and that means shared toilet and shower rooms (these rooms are private, though). That being said, the facilities were kept very clean. I stayed here during the off-season, so the hostel was not very crowded, and there was never any waiting time to access either the toilet or shower room, though my floor only had three of each (two for men, one for women).
Ana (9/5): Superb - I booked the big room by the kitchen on the same level as the office. Spacious room with comfortable large bed, sofa and sitting area. Very clean. Bathroom is shared with only one other bedroom on the same corridor. Although it is next to the kitchen, it is quite at night as they close the kitchen between 11:30pm and 7:30am. Very friendly staff and great communication both before and during the stay. The desk in the common area are great if you need to get work done. Free coffee. Free washing machine and dryer (although busy more often than not). You are in the middle or Sultanahmet and can walk to a lot of sites, the tram is also nearby. Highly recommended. The area was a bit too touristy for my liking. Everything in the area is overpriced, including compared to nice areas in Beyoğlu or Kadiköy. No lift in the building (but staff did help with luggage).

Rupal (10/5): Great location, value, clean, friendly, exceeded expectations. Will book again! - Very clean, safe, spacious, great location, nice common spaces, friendly staff, good wifi. Free access to washer & dryer. Mini kitchen in the room. Lot of grocery stores within 5 mins walking, all major sights walkable or easy access to transport options. Airport (IST & SAW) access using public transport. Not far from tram, bus, ferry, train, etc. We will happily stay again when visiting Istanbul next time. There seem to be a lot of properties in Istanbul with fake reviews on booking, so we were hesitant before booking this. We read lot of reviews (Social House as well as other properties). Our initial booking was for 3 nights just in case. But then we made additional bookings and ended up staying 10 nights since we liked the place a lot. Overall liked it a lot. We ended up extending stay multiple times and stayed for about 10 days. A few minor things that would have improved our stay even more - a proper table/chair would be nice in the room - a dresser or cupboard to keep clothes - no proper surface to keep luggage/suitcase

Edwin (10/5): Exceptional - A simple room, but with lots of shared facilities, like a kitchen, fridge, modern working space, a terrace and clean toilets and bathrooms. The location is perfect in the middle of Sultanahmet, with everything you need close by. No airconditioning, but the fan is adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff. When I'm back in Istanbul, I'll book again.

The set up and the name of the property was "Social" House, was hoping for a bit more of a social atmosphere which unfortunately wasn't there. Really enjoyed the coffee station with daily fresh coffee. That was an enjoyable touch. There was a foul mouldy smell in the stairwell, corridor and communal ablution . The double bed was two separate mattresses put together which is not ideal. The doors were heavy and would slam all night and was counter-productive to a decent night's sleep.

The staff was very friendly and flexible. They allowed us to store our bags before and after check-in. The hostel was quiet and comfortable yet had spaces to relax in and meet people.

Luke (10/5): Amazing stay in the centre of Istanbul - We stayed in a studio apartment as 3 adults with two bedrooms. Aircon was ICE cold which was so nice after a hot day exploring. Location was perfection, close to all attractions and easy to catch the tram to other areas. Washing machine was super handy for us as we are on an extended trip. We didn’t need the kitchen but it was nice and clean and well stocked if we wanted to cook something. Entry was safe and secure. Staff were lovely and always there to assist if needed. Private transfer was arranged for us from the airport for €50. You can find cheaper if you search around but it was nice to have this organised ahead of time. Tour company right out the front door for any tours you want to do. Would stay again for sure. Nothing

Shana (10/5): Exceptional - This stay was incredible! Our room was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the bed too. We checked in early thanks to the super accommodating staff, which was perfect for us as we had travelled through the night. Facilities were amazing - the shared kitchen had everything, the lounge space had board games, WFH capabilities and the comfiest couch. Bathrooms were great. Not to mention there was free coffee every morning. Location was perfect, literally 5 min walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. I could go on but will just say that this place is an amazing place to stay in Istanbul! Highly, highly recommend. Nothing.
Madinat (8/5): Nice place - Location perfect! Price for that location excellent. Lots of cafe and restaurants and bakeries to choose from. All main attractions of that area walking distance from apartment. Bathroom lucks ventilation and smells a bit of dump. Drain grill not cleaned properly.
