• Elisa (8/5): Very central flat, large balcony, but a bit tired - Location is great, price was reasonable, flat was spacious, good bathroom, large balcony, confortable double bed. Proximity to beach, restaurants, supermarkets. Host insisted on only sending the flat number and the access code to key box on the actual day of arrival, which was really stressful. Even then, they did not even send it by 10am on day of entry and they very begrudgily sent it later on, only after several emails and messages to and fro. The automated instructions and code message, instead, was automatically sent at 16h30 for a 16-17h check in, which would have been crazy (had we had to wait for that in the approximate location of the flat with our luggage). This is a ridiculous system, as it requires you having access to the internet abroad justvbefore you get into the flat (i.e. it requires you to pay for Internet abroad to get the access code). It also leaves you hoping they remember to send you the instructions, but wondering where your flat is and whether you'll actually get in.. all round really inconvenient and unprofessional. We also did not like that the flat was worn down (stained walls and scratches and funny smells which were probably the upholstery and curtains smelling, as the flat itself was completely clean). As a whole, with the size and great location, this was a confortable flat and we did not regret booking it. But equally we won't be in any hurry to come back in the future.

• Martin (8/5): Excellent apartment in an excellent location - Fantastic apartment that had everything we needed, Very comfortable beds and location was excellent The only negative was the shower flooded the bathroom and hallway once when we first used it, You need to not put the pressure on too high otherwise it will flood, A better shower tray would sort that problem out.
• Steffi (8/5): - Das Apartment ist neu und modern. Wir haben es sehr sauber übernommen und verlassen. Putzmittel ,Microfasertücher und Mülltonnen erleichtern es Küche und Bad sauber zu halten. Das Bett gemütlich und der Schrank praktisch. Leider bekommt man auch auf Nachfrage keine Schlüssel für das Tor. Demzufolge war es umständlich herein zu kommen. Auf dem Balkon waren wir uns ein paar gemütliche Stühle oder Liegen wünschen;)

• Giorgia 83 (7/5): Appartamento spazioso - L' appartamento è spazioso e in una strada silenziosa ma vicina ai ristoranti. C'è un bel terrazzino. L' appartamento è in un complesso residenziale e si trova al primo piano. Vengono forniti i codici x prendere le chiavi quindi nessun contatto con gli host Il bagno è cieco e non c'è la ventola. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo imprevisto con lo scarico del wc ma i proprietari hanno risolto velocemente. Per il resto tutto bene!
• Katie (8/5): Great value stay close to the centre - Great sized apartment with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and everything worked fine. Good location only a few minutes away from the main street. The check in process, we were originally given the wrong code and instructions for the key box. Messaged though booking.com and no response. Thankfully there was a number on a previous message and someone very helpful sorted it out, but after a long day travelling it was a stressful moment. The shower could only be used at a very low pressure setting otherwise the bathroom would have flooded in a matter of minutes.

Clean apartment, seemed maybe recently decorated as it was quite modern and fittings looked relatively new. Good size apartment, good shower. Plenty room and large fridge/freezer. We found it very quiet which was great as previous apartments we’ve stayed in elsewhere have been noisy so we were praying this one would be quiet so we had great sleeps! Easy to contact someone on the chat - they always responded quickly 😊 Front window curtains didn’t close properly but we weren’t too bothered.

• Samantha (10/5): Second year we’ve stayed here - will be back again! - Very spacious and clean. Had everything you needed. Very quiet at night so you could get a good nights sleep. Close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants.

• Val (6/5): Could have been better, stairs were an issue. - Property was in a good location, close to bars, restaurants, shops and the seafront. Room was up 3 flights of stairs even though a lower floor was requested due to mobility issues. Only had a hand rail on the lower flight of stairs and the light did not come on at night so needed a torch on a mobile to help you. The room was spacious but some of the furniture was tired, the bed was hard but that is just a personal opinion. There was no cleaning done throughout a 9 night stay, no change of towels or bed linen and rubbish bin not emptied. There were black bin liners provided which suggests you get rid of your own rubbish. If the accommodation does not provide a cleaning service it was unclear. There was a washing machine but no washing tablets or detergent.

• Lisa (10/5): Lovely apartment in a great location - The apartment is nice and clean its in a great location. Very quiet on a nighttime and the bed was so comfortable. The hoist was great answered my questions through message and always got a quick response. The apartment has everything you need iron washer cooker. We loved staying here and will be booking up this apartment again. Thank you to the hoist for letting us stay There was nothing that we didn't like. We never had any complaints or problems with this apartment

• CATHERINE (8/5): Séjour parfait emplacement idéal - Nous avons apprécié le kit de bienvenue ainsi que les produits Menager liquide vaisselle, éponge torchon. L’emplacement est top, juste à coté de l’avenue principal et des plages. Le lave linge est un plus et 2 pastilles sont fournis. Pour se garer vous avez de la place dans les autres rues à 300 mètres.

Provato a chiamare più volte ma ho avuto una risposta solo dopo diversi tentativi. L'aria condizionata non funzionava. Ma la cosa inaccettabile è che c'erano scarafaggi enormi nel bagno e in camera da letto. Pessima esperienza. Waited half an hour to get to the apartment. Tried to call a few times and I finally someone answered. The air conditioning did not work properly. But the worst thing were the giant cockroaches in the bathroom and the bedroom. Disgusting.
• Silvia (8/5): Puerto del Carmen: 7 giorni ad agosto - Ottima posizione, località ricca di vita notturna, centrale per girare comodamente tutta l'isola. Presente tutto il necessario per cucina e bagno, posto auto gratuito quasi sempre disponibile sotto casa. Tranquillo la notte e ben climatizzato. C'è anche la lavatrice in appartamento! Qualche ospite un po' rumoroso un paio di notti nelle camere accanto (ma questo va a pura fortuna!). Bagno un po' piccolo e poco ventilato (niente di drammatico comunque, ed era molto pulito che è la cosa importante).

• Stephen (10/5): Fabulous week in puerto del Carmen - We spent a lovely week here...fantastic location, super helpful staff..very comfy bed.,spacious sunny balcony..very good value for money nice and quiet..would love to return Plenty of English channels on tv and a well stocked kitchen very close to mucky duck pub.. The wifi was spot on as was the air conditioning..as advertised there is no pool which wasn't a problem as we were only a street back from the seafront..

• Michael (9/5): Well located, spacious apartment with good facilities. - Well located apartment with all the facilities needed for a self catering holiday. Good sized terrace, south facing, with space to eat meals outside. Good WiFi. Apartment is only a few minutes' walk to the sea front, with many restaurants and bars.
• Frank (4/5): Communication was hard work but we did not let it spoil our holiday. - Location of property was great - but not the fact we were on the ground floor a few yards from a busy road. The property had been fitted out very well and was fairly new. The Booking.com website falsely gives the impression that the rooms are on an upper floor - as the main picture shows a double door leading to to a Balcony. We requested an Upper Floor when we booked our room but did not get any reply from Booking.com or from the Accommodation. We messaged the Accommodation 10/1/25 asking if they could confirm the Upper Floor and we received a reply saying "The flat you have booked is on the ground floor". Presumably they could have told us that when we made the request at the time of booking the room. There is nothing on any paperwork from Booking.com to indicate we were booking a specific room on the ground floor - otherwise we would not have booked. We were mislead by the "Balcony" photograph. The property is hard to identify. It is referred to as Sabbia Suites Pleamar, but when the Taxi drops you off these names are nowhere to be found. The complex name over the main gate is PENAMAR! When we arrived the Wi-Fi was not working and when we asked for assistance and were given various passwords - none of which worked. We also complained that they had only provided 2 chairs for sitting outside on the Patio when there was 3 guests. We were told that they did not provide additional chairs. One of their Employees had to visit the rooms the next day as we had found a bunch of keys which had been left by the cleaner. She arranged a third chair the same day. She also checked the Wi-Fi and confirmed it was faulty. She arranged for it to be fixed the same day. We did not expect to be in the Apartment for 9 days without having a change of towels or Bedsheets. Never known this before. Communication was poor. A week before we were due to leave we requested to be allowed to have a late departure on our final day. We were asked to contact them again on the day before leaving which i did at 10am as suggested - without reply. I contacted them at 9am on our leaving day and was told we had to be out by 11am.
• Ronan (5/5): Passable - Location The apartment is in a scruffy residential block, doesn't give a holiday vibe! The stairs leading to 1357 is dark at night. There is a musty smell from the kitchen. The neighbours are noisy at night. I would not stay again.

• Samantha (10/5): Felt like home! - The property had everything you could need! Was clean and was very spacious. Was in a great location just right behind La Penita. No noise from outside and felt safe and secure. Host tell you everything you need to get the keys etc and even made a room available as early as possible so we could check in. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

• Cheryl (9/5): Superb - The apartment was really big and had everything i needed for my stay, the location was great overall good and worth every penny. The bed was alittle uncomfy for me and the pillows, also the shower took along time to drain so sometimes flooded the bathroom.
• David (3/5): Poor - Was clean (apart from the smell that I'll come onto) very close to the beach and main strip. Ok was not on a holiday complex. As I entered the smell that I can only describe as that from student houses hit me. I aired the the apartment that was clean and well presented for the money however the smell remained. A mix of old fatty cooking, smoke and animal mixed together. When trying to sleep you could here the neighbour's as if they were in your apartment. The shower floor didn't drain well with your feet being covered with water. Again having said this what did I expect for the money. A whole apartment with balcony. Just bring an air freshener. I'll post pics of the views behind.

The facilities were great -cooker, fridge, oven, hob, microwave, hairdryer, washing machine etc excellent The loved the balcony as it had sun all day. The electric kettle was leaking when we arrived but it was replaced promptly The mattress cover was not fit for purpose, worn and very dirty. The covers on the sofa and cushion covers were very grubby, it would be simple to be wash them after each guest. There was no signal for satellite TV and many contacts were made to resolve this issue - a repair man did come and he said that it was not connected. The air conditioning would not turn off most likely needed new batteries. My request was ignored. The final straw was cockroaches in the apartment

Was a bit too noisy in interior garden this time where the bedroom windows face, but for the rest great apartment to rent for holidays.

Overall very good place to stay and host is responsive if there are any questions. Depending on time, it is difficult to find parking space closer to apartment.

• Lynn (7/5): Accommodation Named Wrong! - Bed was comfortable Upon booking the property was called Pleamar. Before we travelled we were informed it had changed it's name to Sabbia Suites. Upon arrival the address that we were given showed no signs of either named property. It was 8pm so dark which didn't help. After nearly an hour we found the property which was named Penamar??? How were we supposed to know this? I WhatsApp the number given, no response even after message had been read, to say we couldn't find the accommodation. Very poor. Bathroom had a skylight in the ceiling. Bugs kept dropping down as you were cleaning your teeth...Yuk! Unfortunately, we wouldn't stay here again.

• John (5/5): Came and went. Won't be back to this location. - Location is good. Apartment inside is well appointed. Apartment is part of a residential block. I had to ask one of those Residents for help in sorting out getting my keys...Thankfully they were very helpful. It took TWO mobile phones , mine for "chat" with "Host" and other for taking and sending photo's of my passport during said "chat" with Host !! If I had not had this helper I would not have managed. I will not place myself in this position again. not for me.

Everything was there that was needed.just missing a mat in the shower to stop u from slipping.no rails to hold on to either.did tell the owners this.I think for a few euros it would’ve got a 10 from me.

There is no way apartment floors were cleaned before we arrived. Tea towel smelled awful! Dried but not washed smell. The bathroom shower is so dirty- shower door is filthy and black- lots of bacteria there for a long time. Towels off white and not fluffy. Cleanliness was ZERO. Need proper cleaners.
