De algehele toestand - Locatie en uitzicht Vele achterstallig onderhoud (verf bladerde op vele plekken af en bij wind veel verfstukjes), enige dingen functioneerden niet of waren stuk (WC bril, keukenkastjes en horren).
Joanna (4/5): Overpriced and worn - + Amazing view + Comfortable beds + Friendly staff and cleanliness + Some snacks and drinks at the beginning of the stay(super useful after late check in) + Pool towels that could be changed for free in reception + Small but quite deep swimming pool, well maintained + Safe area with controlled access + Beach at the resort - Surcharge during card payment (according to coral estate there should be no surcharge when using debit card but it still charged more), I requested other payment options but didn't get it until the payment was already done with a card - Furniture worn out, in the middle there was big sofa that was completely ripped to pieces, covered with disgusting sort of cover that was also torn - cockroaches in 2 bathrooms - ancient 110V electrical installation, only ONE 220V outlet in the kitchen (that still needed adaptor) but all kitchen appliances were with EU plugs (toster, water boiler, espresso machine). - plenty of broken/not working stuff (vacuum cleaner, blender that caused spill), hammock from the pictures didn't exist which was huge disappointment - driveway is too steep, we almost got stuck with the car at entrance, had to park on the other side of the street

And it was plenty of ANts in the bedroom on the right side of the entrance room, and on the wall outside.

Lee (10/5): מושלם!!! - המקום הכי מושלם ששהיתי בו בחיים!!!! הגענו משפחה של 7 מבוגרים ובני נוער ונהנו מכל רגע. הוילה מדהימהההה ביופיה, ענקית עם נוף עוצר נשימה לים, החדרים גדולים מרווחים והמקלחות נוחות ונקיות. הוילה היתה מלאה בכל טוב ומעבר לכל מה שניתן לתאר כולל מכשירי חשמל, כלים מטבח, אוכל ושתיה לקבלת הפנים. השירות היה מדהים- זמינים לכל שאלה ומענה מהיר והיו תמיד שם. הבריכה היתה מדהימה עם טמפרטורה מושלמת. אזור הברביקיו היה מעולה ונוח ונהנו ממנו מאוד. והבונוס היה השהות מתחם הים והבריכה של הריזורט שהיה מלא מקומות נעימים לשהות בהם כולל מרכז צלילה ומסעדות מפנקות. פשוט לא רצינו לעזוב והיינו מוכנים להשאיר שם לנצח 😊 תודה ענקית על הכל- מקווה נחזור אליכם במהרה🙏 כלום
Joanna (5/5): Had beter gekund. - Super mooie locatie. Super vriendelijke personeel Zwembad had een malfunction. De infinity pomp deed het niet, waardoor er geen flow zat in het water. Hierdoor was de chloor en chemicalien gehalte best hoog. De kinderen hadden erg last van hun ogen en huid hierdoor. De hangmat ging kapot terwijl mn zus erin lag. Ze had haar hoofd en rug heel hard op de grond gestoten. De ramen van de accomodatie waren kapot en gingen niet volledig dicht. Hordeuren van de slaapkamer hing er ellendig bij, kapot en ook niet in de rail. De deur van de slaapkamer kon ook hierdoor niet volledig dicht. Het water in de keuken in de beneden woning was erg bruin. Deze 5minuten laten lopen zonder succes. Gelukkig konden we boven gebruik maken van water.

Sharlenne (9/5): Great private villa for family quality time! - Loved it! We had the Villa with private pool. Everything in the villa and around it was great! Will definitely go back and absolutely recommend it. Especially with kids, the private pool was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom and bedrooms very clean and comfortable. The view was stunning! Before arrival we were contacted by reception asking when we would arrive. The lady wasn't very friendly on the phone. But once we arrived at Front desk, the ladies there were friendly and very nice...so no hard feelings :)

Carl (8/5): Nice but odd property without some common conveniences - The beach facilities were some of the best on the island. The pool at the house was great. It's always nice when renting a house if there are some included supplies. There was no cooking oil, extra toilet paper, paper towels, or dishwashing soap. For the amount of money you pay these are trivial expenses but mean you don't hate your time buying extra supplies. The lack of screens is probably typical for the island and also typical for European style properties. However, as the bugs seem to find me anywhere this means that I needed to have bug spray on at all times to avoid bites. The main living space can only be cooled with open doors. In fact the front door has slats so there is no way to close it completely. Finally the master bath didn't have a door between the toilet area and the room. I can't say as I like the idea of going number 2 while my wife is in bed and can hear everything.

Jennifer (8/5): Pool and patio made the place. - The pool and patio were phenomenal! Bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit tight and shabby. Kitchen was well stocked and the windows and doors opening to outside were great. Lots of birds and iguanas around the villa. Beds were hard. Villa is quite far from the resort as it is a privately owned house that the resort manages. Therefore it feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel.

Emma (5/5): Not worth how much we paid for it - The view from our villa was amazing and made all the other issues less relevant. The cleaning and gardening staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The location was really nice - I suggest driving to Marfas Good Hangout for some delicious food only a five minute drive from the gated community. A lot went wrong. To preface this review - We were a group of travellers in our mid 20's who rented a private villa. We are generally really quiet and peaceful travellers who enjoy daytime nature activities and resting at night. We felt as though the admin staff was quite rude to us upon check in, which may have been attributed to the fact that we did not fit the family demographic of the resort. I would not recommend coming here unless you have a family with kids. Further our villa was not as pictured. The paint in our kitchen was peeling off the cabinets and flaking all over the floor (I have pictures of this). Next the kitchen was horribly equipped. We were not given any knives sharp enough for cutting, no scissors, no garbage bags, no first aid kit, no dishwasher detergent, and much more. The booking.com listing said our kitchen had an oven, but we only had a stove stop and microwave. We also had ants everywhere - all over the counters, the patio, and in the bedrooms. We were told someone would come with Ant Spray, however we waited two hours and no one came. This resulted in us having to take multiple trips to the front office to pick up things that should have already been ready for when we checked in to the vila. The restaurants were expensive and the food quality was below average (much better to leave and find a local restaurant). You also had to pay $20 USD per person to use the pool when our trip already cost $2.3K CAD for three nights, which we felt was a little much. Not to mention the $550 USD we paid in cleaning fees only to receive a dirty poorly equipped villa. My bedsheets were also stained. I overheard many resort goers complaining about the cleaning fees and not receiving any cleaning during their stay. This felt like a rip off. I rarely leave negative comments, and I would say our group is pretty easy to please, but unfortunately for what we received it was not worth our hard earned money.

Bruce (9/5): Good property - glad we chose it. - Great view. Good to have the pool. Mini-splits in bedrooms were essential. All interactions with staff were quite positive. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Living room area was hot as there was no mini-split and the sliders couldn't be kept open since there were no screens but there were biting insects. Living room could use a chair or two in addition to the couch. Kitchen could use a blender. Great location for visiting beaches to the north but few convenient restaurant choices - just those on the property and Marfa's (10 minutes away and highly recommended - make reservations!).

I also loved having a front office available for when anything was needed (i.e., towels, maintenance, etc.) And the view from the back was beautiful! Full view of the ocean and the surrounding landscapes. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful at night as well. I was not aware that the only air conditioning was restricted to just the bedrooms. I would have at least liked a ceiling fan in the living room/kitchen area for when we were just hanging out at the villa for the day, considering how hot it can get despite being near the water.

But i would find it hard to recommend due to the beds being so un - The property was easy to find, check in was simple, property was clean. The check in desk staff and security were also very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The bed mattresses and pillows were all really hard and uncomfortable. There’s no AC in the living room. One of the air conditioners in the downstairs room was not working. The overall lighting in the rooms are extremely dim/dull. No AC in the living room made it hard for the group to gather there. We received a noise complaint at 7:30pm from a neighbor, which was not the fault of the property owners, however, that was rather annoying to experience a noise complaint so early.

Matthew (10/5): Loved it! Coral Estate Luxury Resort is a Special place. - The house exceeded our expectations. The view was stunning. The sunrise and moonrise were magical. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Karakter Restaurant food and atmosphere was top notch. Be sure to claim one of the beach huts early and order breakfast and lunch(Jerk chicken was awesome). The beach hut at the far end has 1)Great shade 2) a bit more privacy provided by the coral limestone cove 3) power outlet for laptop while checking cryptocurrency charts 4) separate private entrance steps into the sea for fantastic snorkeling with hundreds of friendly fish.(Get there before 8am to get one of the huts) The location from our house at the far end was a bit of a walk to main resort so you will need to have a rental car ..but I thoroughly enjoyed the view of The ocean and checking out the other properties when I decided to get some exercise and walk down.

We lived by the pool and in the outdoor spaces which had a refreshing breeze and plenty of sun and shade. Everything was clean, the beds comfortable and we only had to use the ac at night. We felt safe and welcomed. There didn’t appear to be a key for the safe, unfortunately. Instead of three machines for coffee making, a toaster/toaster oven would have been well used.

Reon (10/5): Home away from home. - I love the peace and serenity of the place. Staff was very kind. Very accommodating. The hammock was relaxing. It felt like home away from home. The views are amazing. Security was great also. I felt safe. I like a soft Mattress but it still didn't take away from the overall great experience. The oven and washing machine were not in English so I had to figure it out. But I eventually figured it out. I'd still give the place 10 out of 10.
