Guest Reviews
- Victoria (6/5): -
- Warren (8/5): Comfortable older style holiday house in a good location. - Good locati.on to explore Busselton. Handy to shops and jetty, but in a quiet street (apart from some demolition gong on next door). Also handy to the nearby wetland for bird watching. House was an older style holiday house, but renovated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay Having booked through Booking.com I was annoyed at having to provide a copy of my drivers licence and credit card to Geographe Holiday Homes. Every site that has this sort of information is a hacking risk. In terms of the house, nothing really to dislike.
- Peiyan (9/5): A great place to stay for location and comfort - We liked the location of the house, as it was near to the supermarkets, the beach and the jetty. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. There were several bikes of different sizes to choose from, so we could go cycling along the beach paths. There were also helmets and bicycle locks provided. The management team was also very responsive in solving any issues that came up. Overall, the accommodation made our almost week-long stay feel homey. These were minor things, such as the pillows could be more substantial. And the separation of the toilet and the bathroom took some getting used too.

- Heather (7/5): Beautifully renovated, great facilities, perfect location. - Loved the house. Nicely renovated. We loved the blonde furniture & the decor.
Plenty of warm bedding. Heating great. Beds very comfortable.Location was great, close to town. To access the front door it is difficult if you have any disability. We were a group of over 50’s ladies.
Wooden steps too high. No rail and had to cling to side of house to get up & down. In the wet weather it was very awkward.
There needs to be a laundry door as the toilet door is open at top & bottom and no privacy when you’re in toilet and other guests are eating in kitchen, lounge.
Power also tripped multiple times when we plugged in phone charger.
- Kristy (9/5): Great place for a stay in Busselton - Clean very well presented & fitted out house. Owners very responsive & helpful.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Good - There was no ramp or handrail at the entrance to the property, only very tall steps. There was however a handrail and additional step in the back garden.
- Tabitha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wolfram (9/5): family holiday - nice property, spacious nothing
- Liz (10/5): We immediately felt relaxed and at home. A fantastic, little home with ample beds and a highly enjoyable getaway. - Fairbairn Beach House was the perfect holiday stay for our family of six. The house is well established and very well equipped. We loved the location and care taken with the property. It felt like home away from home. We would love to come for a return visit but unfortunately the price is too steep for us to stay in January.
- Claudia (9/5): Superb - Lovely home, great vibe, location walking distance from Town Centre.
- Jacquelin (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shamir (10/5): Great place to stay in Busselton - Location was great There was an issue with the neighbour in the Night, Police had to be called.
- Anne (8/5): Relaxing getaway - Beautifully decorated and clean house
- Jo-anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tay (9/5): Superb - Spacious. Lovely old home renovated modern. Wish it was a 3 x TWO
- Rodger (8/5): Would definitely revisit..😎 - Very comfortable and clean.. Curtain rings fell off and had to stand on chair to replace however that was not a big issue..
- Kerry (8/5): Homely - It was very homely and extremely well equipped. Loved that there were bikes. Beautifully decorated. Some suggestions
Please make sure you can open windows and that there are fly screens on windows. It seemed that some were painted shut especially in bunk room
We would recommend air conditioning in all bedrooms.
The tow bar on the caravan at the front is a trip hazard and so are the edges around the edge of the lawn particularly near caravan. Lighting on the steps and caravan tow bar could help this area.
Also there are enough beds to sleep 12 people, we only had 4 adults and bathroom and toileting was problematic. There is very little privacy on the toilet with where it is situated. Even another door between living room and toilet would be useful. Having said all that we loved it. Thank you.
- Richard (2/5): Nice house but horrible check in process. - Nice space and facilities. Horrible check in process.
- Louise (9/5): Excellent stay, easy to check in, close to everything and the house is beautiful and had everything - Super close to the jetty, close to amenities
The house was beautifully decorated very comfortable, just a gorgeous house with lot of amenities Pricey for 3 days
- Rebecca (9/5): Great beach house for a Busselton holiday. - Property had everything you need and was comfortable. Looks newly renovated, which is nice and it’s actually nicer than the photos online.
Only suggestion would be to add the BBQ to the list of amenities, as we brought our own.
- Jessicca (9/5): Summer house of fun - The bedrooms were perfect and could easily accommodate two families. Loved having Aussie BBQs on the front deck. The whole process to book was really simple. Loved it! The games were an added bonus.
- Lyndon (9/5): Great facility in convenient location for a good price - Spacious, good facilities, well stocked and comfortable Front steps a little steep for elderly relative
