- Alatha (1/5): I'm unsure why its currently at 8.4 star rating - The apartment was spacious. My experience at this property was very disappointing, especially as a first-time traveller to Johannesburg (Maboneng).
The location is central, but there was a large event happening just a few streets away, making it extremely noisy both during the day and at night. If you’re looking for a quiet stay, this may not be suitable particularly if you’re unfamiliar with Johannesburg.
Upon arrival, security was unaware of my booking, which created confusion. Communication with the host was also not professional or welcoming, which added to the frustration.
Cleanliness was a major concern. The bedding had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the blanket in the closet were even worse. There were dirty items left behind, including a glass and side plate upon my arrival, as well as smelly dishcloths. Some food items, like rusks, appeared to be expired, and containers had clearly not been refilled in a long time. The microwave was also dirty.
Basic amenities were not up to standard. The water throughout the apartment (shower, basin, kitchen) was ice cold, and I had to heat water manually on the stove. The gas tank was empty, despite cold and windy conditions, and this was not communicated beforehand.
Furniture and fittings were also problematic couches were uncomfortable, wardrobes felt unstable, and the shower door was difficult to open. There were no refuse bags provided in the kitchen bin.
Additionally, the garage area was left open during the day, which raised concerns about vehicle safety.
While the apartment is spacious, there are too many issues to overlook. Overall, this was a very poor experience and did not meet expectations.
- Nhlanhla (8/5): - The designs of the furniture and the room(Artwork). They’ve changed the room without letting me know and there was no hot Water.
- Kagiso (6/5): - The place was very clean, and overall we enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few issues. The water was cold, making it difficult to take a shower for more than two minutes. The WiFi was also quite slow, and the couch was very uncomfortable.
Additionally, if you’re sensitive to noise, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, as there is a club right next to the building.
Overall, I would rate the stay a 6/10.
- Mishumo (8/5): Good - The shower, the location The WiFi was not working. The security doesn’t respect guests and he security came to check the WiFi and he went into the bathroom to pee , he didn’t even ask to use the bathroom.
There’s too much noise from the surrounding clubs
This place is not ideal for someone who wants to rest and go to work
It’s good for leisure, youth and party people
- Mthokozisi (10/5): - The kitchen Small TV no Neflix

- alinah (8/5): - Everything except for the blanket.... it was not clean Only a blanket that wasn't properly cleaned

Spacious apartment!
- Tshepo (8/5): - Everyththing Nothing
- Buhle (8/5): Weekend away - I liked everything about the apartment, spacious, it has everything you need in a self catering space. Feels like home away from home. Shops and other amenities are very close by. It was quite noisy especially at night due to the nightclub thats right at the back of the building, shower door does need to get fixed as water leaks out wen u shower and its difficult to open the door. Couch is abit uncomfortable.
- Ntombikayise (6/5): Just alright - Spacious, beautiful. Enough kitchen amenities. Exactly like the pics. Kitchen counter was dusty. Very hard, uncomfortable couch and the mattress was bad. Shower water runs out the shower door, the drain is slow. Curtains don't cover all the windows
