Guest Reviews
- Bruce (10/5): - Location! For older folks, entering the shower/tub is challenging.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Arianna (9/5): Top - Posizione perfetta.
Casa molto grande e pulizia top. Tv e Wi-Fi non funzionanti.
- Gina (9/5): Amazing location, right in the middle of SoHo. Lots of activity, it is not quiet at night but this is ok - Fantastic location Wifi and cellphone coverage was not great
- Alison (8/5): Well equipped, central location with associated issues. - Central location V low pressure on tap in bathroom sink. Bath quite hard to get in & out. The kitchen sink tap is hard to get cold water it has really weird control that’s mostly v hot.
The road is noisy through the night with traffic & people shouting but that’s a product of location.
- Rachadell (9/5): Excellent - Loved the apartment. Perfect spot for a weekend in London. Location is fantastic just next to Leicester Square.
- Ronald (9/5): -
- Chris (7/5): - Great location. Flat was nice and clean. Good level of amenities and comfort.
Bathroom was clean. Kitchen area good level of appliances and utensils.
Bed was comfortable. The wifi didn't work. The blinds were broken which made it difficult to keep the light out at nighttime and also get a good level of privacy.
It's a busy and noisy location - and the windows not that soundproof so sleeping was difficult with the light and the sound levels.
- Vladimir (10/5): -
- Tarek (6/5): - Spacious Watersink in the bathroom was not really working.
Fridge was not working.
Curtains are a pain to close/open.
I could not sleep properly as it was ultra super loud. Given the very central location, i would have expected a bit better isolation. Therefore no mattwr how nice the apartment is, if you value sleep, then you are better of not staying there.
- Haj (8/5): Good - Great location
Nice view to the street
Comfortable and wide apartment
Good heating Very noisy
Bad hermetic voice protection from outside
Very hard to find the place’ instructions like occupation quiz
- Laura (10/5): Cute, convenient, and the heart of London - Great location - walk to BAFTA, SOHO, Chinatown, Piccadilly, near St James Park and within walking distance to Buckingham Palace (0.7 miles for those who enjoy walking). The propriety also has three space heaters, which ensured a comfortable temperature for us. Exactly as described on the website. The property is on the second floor so you can see Piccadilly Circus perfectly. Communication with host was perfect and timely - checking in, getting the keys, storing suitcases (early arrival), checking out, and any questions. Photo shared is the view from the flat. We had read previous reviews regarding the noise at night and yes, you are in the heart of the action, so it doesn’t get quiet. However, we were prepared with sleep masks and earplugs - that did the trick for us.
The bathtub/shower was a bit hard to get in/out for us - aging couple - but it was great for taking a bath.
- Elitsa (7/5): - The location is great. It's extremely noisy!
- Yiwen (7/5): -
- Hafiz (10/5): - Very nice apartment and host
- Manuel Antonio (10/5): - The location was great, just a few meters away from the Picadilly station, Picadilly circus and Leicester Square.
The apartment was big enough for 2, with a great view towards Leicester Square and the M&Ms store. There are multiple stores and restaurants in the same street, even to buy souvenirs.
The apartment was well equipped, with an iron, mini fridge and washing machine. Very clean as well.
The self checkout process is a bit tricky but I didn't have any issues with that. Nothing to call out here
- Dominique (8/5): Perfect location for a visit to London - Perfect location. In the heart of London, it does not get closer than this. The property
offered all necessary amenities. The property offered everything we needed. Close to all landmarks, restaurants, shops, theatres, it was perfect in every way. Forgot that being in the heart of London, the crowds like to party till 5 or 6am.... That's on me! Should have closed the windows, but was enjoying the beautiful weather.
Would suggest putting a handrail up by the bath to hold onto as it's a beautiful big bath, but difficult to get into and it's easy to slip
.
- Karen (8/5): Short but perfectly placed apartment - Very central right next to Piccadilly tube A bit noisy a night
- Sean (9/5): -
- Mitra (8/5): Overall, it was good. - The location of the apartment was very good. The internet speed was slow and often did not connect. The apartment key had to be picked up from the fourth floor staircase of another building, which was ten minutes away from the apartment where we lived, which was very inconvenient with luggage and travel fatigue.
- Ong (5/5): Just a place to lay down to sleep-nothing luxurious - Proximity to food, transport and attractions Upon arrival at the door, I had to go on a wild goose chase to an address to collect the apartment keys under the hot weather, with osteoarthritic knee and legs, not sure how to use Google map to get there, asking so many people where the W hotel or even the Vantra restaurant (mostly are tourist like me and they don’t know where is where). Upon reaching the location had to climb stairs to 4th floor to get keys. Had an unpleasant experience when the code given managed to open someone else’s door and was told off to (get out!!!!!😡😡). Don’t ask me how but it happened! Masking tape under the table. The furniture coffee table and dining table are cheapskate stuff (coffee table literally moved when I lifted my legs on it to rest, the curtains looked drab and dirty, glass windows are not cleaned so looking outside is like looking through a sieve. There are no rubbish bins and had to keep walking to bathroom to throw into a little bin there. There is no lighting outside the main door and it’s dark to push the key through the door to open. Someone had to stand further down to activate the light down that end!!! It was also noisy with car and motor cycles blaring away well after midnight
- Sonya (9/5): Perfect for what we needed, will definitely be back! - Great location and exactly what we needed ie. Space for the two of us and kitchen It was a little loud from the hustle and bustle but that’s to be expected, also window needed a clean
- Andres (5/5): Nice location but to noisy - The property is super well located, near all the theaters and many places to visit To noisy, friday and saturday are imposible to sleep, Picadilly circle is extremely noisy.
- Shogh (5/5): Passable - The location is good and the place is spacious, but the NOISE... it was as if living and sleeping right on the street (there was never a moment in the day when it was not noisy and I mean all sorts and varieties of noise). For such a central location but with unbearable constant noise the only way to make it worthwhile for people is to offer good prices, this was way too expensive for what it was. Very central location though, close to everything. No luggage storage possibility and collecting the key from a completely different location was not great. The wifi was not always working. The place can use a bit of renovation too. Not great value for money at all.
- Pamela (10/5): Great!! - It was central to everything. It was loud in Piccadilly on the weekend !! I would not have children there.
- Mark (10/5): As long as you like the buzz of London it’s perfect - Stayed there most times when I’m in London the place is perfect to my taste and needs.
Always a great pleasure to stay there There is only one issue for me and that is the water runs hot hotter it hotter still never seems to be any cold water this includes bath shower washing
- Vivek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kao (9/5): Wonderful place in the heart of London! - Clean and spacious apartment at a central location for visitors. Busy location so it can get noisy at night while trying to sleep.
- Tony (6/5): Overall this is a great flat in a perfect location that is ruined by the windows and curtains. - The location was amazing! You could see Leicester Square & Picadilly Circus from the windows. Apart from the One Big Thing I discus below, it was brilliant. Overpriced, but that's London and you save on having a kitchen and being able to make your own cups of tea :-)
For a short stay the amenities are perfect.
It was nice and clean, the shower & bath worked well. The noise. You could hear Leicester Square & Picadilly Circus through the windows as they didn't fit properly, or didn't close properly, we couldn't work out which, so it was as if the windows were open all night and you can imagine how loud that was. We slept for about 4 hours a night if we were lucky. For that reason alone, I would never stay there again and would recommend anyone else not to stay there until the windows are fixed.
The curtains were a joke. They didn't cover the windows, and did nothing to stop light coming in. That also stopped us from sleeping well.
To collect the key, you have to climb several flights of stairs to get to the key box. I arrived alone with our luggage and, since you can't leave it unattended in London, had to carry it up the stairs with me. That was really awkward. Luckily for me I only had a big holdall and a backpack; if I'd been travelling with a suitcase it would have been almost impossible. I've stayed at this place before, and the last time I collected the key from a near-by shop. Why oh why did they change it?
Overall, if you're a youngster who's going to be out on the town all night it would be perfect. For anyone a bit older, who wants a good night's sleep, I would suggest looking elsewhere. If they sort out the windows at least, it's amazing!
- Марин (8/5): A bit noisy, but a price worth paying to be in the heart of London - The location is great. The apartment is in the heart of the city, and if you are planning to visit some plays while in London, it is also very close to almost every theatre It was very noisy during the night
- Shae (10/5): Experience Picidilly from every angle… Amazing!!! - Incredible location, 1 min to tube and bus stop at the front door. Beautiful clean amenities with lift and full kitchen and comfortable bed and amazing view. Little noisy at night but got used to it pretty quickly. Everything else was amazing
- Wan (9/5): Superb - Location is the best, most of attractions can walk by 10-15 minutes, even faster than take metro. And there are so many food selection. Room is quite spacious, and chic. All the equipment you need are all well prepared, such as laundry machine, oven, TV. It’s near to street, of course there is always noisy, but when you explore London, you will feel very tired when you return to accommodation, so it won’t be a problem. Bath room is a little bit dangerous, the tub is too deep, so when you need to cross the tub and it’s wet, you need to be hold something. And WiFi is slow.
- Marsh (8/5): Very good -
- Ashna (3/5): Poor - N/A The staff are super unhelpful, the keys to the apartment are in another apartment, half a mile away, where you have to climb 4 flights of stairs to retrieve. The apartment does not have an elevator or air conditioning, and there is no one to help you or reach out to if anything goes wrong. The check in process took me well over 3 hours and was super exhausting doing the running around to other buildings and back to this building, and lugging the suitcases up and down the stairs with NO ELEVATOR. They don’t mention any of this in the description before you book. If I knew this, I would have booked a hotel instead. What a waste of money.
- Julian (5/5): It’s rather expensive the quality that you receive. Dated tired and we should’ve been told the lift not working.. - Its placement with Central London is fantastic. It’s terribly tired and dated and really need some love care and attention.
- Peter (9/5): Overall it’s great, just so long as that lift gets replaced soon. - Suburb location, quiet enough, and very modern unit. The lift being replaced by a new one should have been notified to us. As we chose this apartment due to the lift to avoid stairs.
- Xplantpunkx (10/5): Welcome to your Broadway home. - Loved the apartment and style.
The location is perfect if you plan on visiting Broadway shows, like we did every night.
The kitchen is ready to go, and you have plenty of options on your doorstep.
The sound is quite normal for choosing to live at picadilly circle, and the view over Leicester Square is fantastic.
You ll get all you need at Whole Foods, Boots or Chinatown.
A walk in Hyde park? Take the bus in front of your door.
On a budget and fancy a show? TKTS is 400m from your window. It's quite a high building, and the construction worker told us the elevator and construction work will take the whole year at least. So be ready to fight those stairs.
The linen for the bed was so thin and uncomfortable. It's surprising to find only one very thin blanket in an apartment for a couple. My suggestion would be to put at least a second one in the dresser or get an upgrade.
I'd be willing to pay a fee to get a real blanket.
- Mark (10/5): It’s ideal if you love the buzz of London - The location is perfect. Has all that you would expect. The shower and bath a
Is a big plus Unable to get cold water so had to fill glasses and put in fridge
- Tina (8/5): We would definitely stay again . - We loved the location and pillows and bed linen amazing . The lift was out of order so had to walk up 2 flights of steps
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (2/5): Very poor - The location only Raised several concerns with company
- Afnan (7/5): Good -
- Manuel (8/5): Very good - Very noisy
- Bajwa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (9/5): As long as you love the sounds of London this is the perfect place. - The location is perfect. Everything on your doorstep. Place is alive all night which adds to the experience. Host were very good when there was no power to the building not there fault they contact and sorted the issue and came round to check all was working. The instruction for check in and out very clear. Nothing would stay again if available when I’m next in London.
- Janice (8/5): Great little flat but too noisy for me - The studio was modern clean and well equipped. Contact with the desk was fine. Key collection a bit complicated but worked. Location was very central. Location was incredibly noisy, even compared to other accommodation nearby. Also many flashing lights outside and blinds were not black-out. Unsuitable for anyone who is a light sleeper. Lights directly outside in the hallway did not work. Heating not working though electric heaters were provided.
- Kathleen (6/5): Pleasant - I liked the location and how easy it was to get everywhere I did not like that the elevator was out of service the entire stay and we had to drag luggage up many stairs. I also did not care for how loud it was till 2am outside our window.
- Zafer (9/5): Superb -
- Emily (7/5): Great, but it’s a shame we can’t stay in London and have quality bed and bed linen. It’s so important when staying away - Location was perfect for our trip. It was clean and facilities were good. Bed was uncomfortable and the sheets and pillows were very poor quality for the price we paid for the accommodation.
Bath/shower got very wet on the floor.
- L.hill (8/5): Great flat right in the action 💙 - The flat was perfect in size and location for my needs. Having a washing machine was invaluable as well. Everyone I emailed or spoke to was great.I really enjoyed staying there and all the amenities available in the flat itself. The two fans were especially appreciated since London was having an unseasonable heat wave. Unfortunately, the store I was supposed to pick my key up from no longer exists. Luckily, I was able to get someone on the phone relatively quickly, and they sent someone to meet me. Just after arriving, the lift stopped working . Again, I easily got a hold of help via email, and the lift was eventually fixed. Also, the lights in the halls were automatic by motion, but the ones directly outside my flat were not working, making the hall pitch dark until you got further away from the door. Sadly, that issue never got fixed.
- Rob (8/5): Absolutely loved the place! - Almost like working out the Crystal Maze, but all forgotten once in the property.
- Rob (8/5): Lovely place. Affordable, good amenities. GREAT water pressure from the shower - Great central location Also the central location, causing so much noise. To be expected though
- Sean (9/5): Superb - We had a lovely 4 day mini break at this apartment.Very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Great amenities. Fabulous central location... with great views of Piccadilly and Leicester Square. All main attractions within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you
- Miranda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leticia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (8/5): A wonderful location, and a comfy apartment stay - This apartment is very well located, couldn’t be more central if you tried. Easy tube access, right near Chinatown and Soho and the theatre district is on your doorstep. A very tourist ridden location but that’s the price for location in central London. Communication was excellent and it was easy to find and locate the property on arrival. The apartment is a studio. Unfortunately we didn’t know the air con wasn’t working and two fans were good but not enough. Warning would’ve been helpful for our choosing it. In addition it’s worth noting that the shower is above the bath, which is not unusual but it’s about 2.5 feet off the ground to get into with no bar to hold onto and no slip mat so quite tricky and difficult, depending on your ability. It could di with a little TLC all around, the furnishings are getting to be in need of repair and upgrade, in our view. Hot water was also difficult to achieve especially in the bathroom. All of these are fixable and I’m confident the owners and management will sort it out.
- Husni (9/5): Great property and location. -
- Alasdair (8/5): Great location, excellent value - Location uncomfortable sofa
- Nikhil (7/5): Good location. The apartment windows probably need soundproofing as its noisy. - Location Too Noisy. Zero Soundproofing
Sofa and chairs were uncomfortable
- Nalini (6/5): Pleasant -
- Avner (9/5): Great location and very spacious apartment - Location was amazing, right near Piccadilly Circus. Apartment was spacious, lots of lighting from the many windows and had all required amenities.
Bathroom had a heated floor which is amazing
There's an elevator which isnt very common in such apartments. Bed could have been a bit firmer (was fine for me but my wife complained).
The great location has a downside of a super noisy street (many people passing by, loud motorcycles) , especially in the late evenings. If you're a super light sleeper this will be hard without good ear plugs. I consider myself a somewhat light sleeper and managed to sleep through most nights without waking up or needing the ear plugs.
- David (8/5): great place and location but would not stay again because of noise - The location was great close to everything Noise so we knew about it based on other reviews but we thought we could handle the noise but NO way it was TERRIBLE
every night had to sleep with white noise by using head phones and blind fold due to lights outside for Ramadan going on so that I’m sure was not expected but the noise was the worse now took several days of next to no sleep to get back to normal
- Yuval (9/5): Great location! good value for the - the best location, large room and all the needed facilities for a comfortable stay. great service! the bath is too high
- Päivi (9/5): Superb - Location! Communication was a bit complex.
- Adele (7/5): Good -
- Rianne (10/5): Perfect, comfortable and safe space to stay for theatre goers. - Very clean and comfortable with everything you need, smack bang in the middle of the west end area, perfect for theatre goers.
- Jens (7/5): Spacious apartment between Picadilly Circus and China Town - Spacious apartment with reliable internet connection. The hausd team was friendly and helpful asking my question. Elevator out of order. I had to carry my luggage to the apartment on the 3rd floor.
- Natasha (7/5): Comfortable apartment with a central location - Super central location, so easy to get around the westend and walk to the theatre, amazing restaurants and explore London. 1 bedroom, with equipped kitchenette, and coffee machine. Clean and easy access with an elevator. Saturday night was so noisy due to the central location and all the sounds from the street carried directly in to the apartment. Blackout curtains would have been a bonus to block out the light.
- Charmaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vishal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gunther (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Fantastic apartment great location - loverly apartment , very clean, excellent location. little noisy late at night - but it is right in the heart of London nightlife so to be expected.
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chanitnat (9/5): comfortable stay in perfect London location - location is super easy to commute. everything is nearby and underground is located 1 min away. Spacious room overlook Picadilly circus the bathtub is slightly too high, a bit difficult to use. the apartment is in busy area so it could be a bit noisy but we managed to sleep well.
- Catherine (8/5): great for a weekend in the heart of London - location, style, cleanliness it was very noisy at night, to be expected though in that location
- Tony (10/5): Lovely flat in amazing location! - Location was superb, flat was lovely and light & airy, extremely comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we needed. And it's hard to imagine a better location ... a few steps from Picadilly Circus, Leicester Square, the theatres, soho, and the tube ... will definitely stay there again on future London trips! It could get a bit noisy, but what do you expect in a flat in the heart of London? We could still sleep ok, but a light sleeper might struggle a little. Oh, and we used the lift once and never again, it made some very strange noises ... but the stairs were fine!
- Fammy (8/5): Great location in Soho, very spacious and secure. Has lift! - Fantastic Soho location. Apt 6 is a corner apt with the best views from full length windows overlooking Piccadilly up to Leicester Square.
Windows are double glazed but still expect noise till early hours if the morning.
Very spacious, excellent kitchen set up if you want to cook (we didn't).
Washing machine /dryer handy and coffee machine easy to use.
Very secure and on the second floor with a lift.
Excellent communication with queries replied to promptly and certainly within 24hrs. No AC for warm weather (but this is standard for London, I think) but they do provide two large and efficient fans that moves the air well.
Shower in bath may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
